If they add new stuff it just won’t appear in your altar area, you might end up surrounded by cliffs, or on a floating island or part of your city suspended over a drop but hey that’s part of the fun of Enshrouded 😂

Just posting because maybe someone will see this and get a giggle. 😅 We built our base (see map) near the northern edge of the world cause we figured that it would be the end game area, which was accurate in the end. However, since Wake of Water, each update has modified the terrain around our base drastically, so much so that we keep having to either demolish entire mountains or in some cases rebuild entire mountains so our base isn't floating. You can see in the screenshots. Anyone else built somewhere the terrain keeps shifting?

Building a sluice with a drain at the bottom is your best bet. So, a one block wide pathway for the water to go that is placed just above and behind the wheel, it needs to have sides to keep the water contained. Then, just put drains under where the water falls and it will suck away the evidence. 🙂

There's two build ceilings. First, major one is based on your Flame Altar level just like build radius, and it's basically the same as your build radius.

Second, well, in theory there is a ceiling in the sky that you can't build beyond, but I don't know how many have ever found it lol

Packing it tight is a bit of a PITA because I couldn't get the "inspect" option if it was clipping too far into another prop. A lot of it was playing with elevation, spacing, removing, and replacing props until I found something that looked acceptable.

I think I see you did something similar on the first set of fish on the left where it looks like the leftmost is a slightly higher elevation than the right. If you wanted to add a third, what I would do is actually space those first two farther apart at the same elevation and then place another serving plate in the middle at the next elevation up. It would clip into the other two ofc but hopefully the difference would be small enough to not be too noticeable.

The build choice is not an intentional reference to serious sam other than coincidence. I've heard that part of the Hatshepsut temple is featured in that game series. I just really like ancient Egyptian architecture and thought this particular complex would not be too difficult to recreate, give plenty of room for internal customization and (imo) look really impressive

This comes with 4 rooms to treat patients, a waiting room, a small terrace to smoke or just enjoy the fresh wind. Doctors also get a room for toilets and stuff and a small kitchen as a break room. I ran into several no build zones excavating the underground portion so am now having to move build location entirely 🙁
lesson learned: if there's any underground excavation needed, do that first
i'll post an update once i've secured a new problem-free building zone
to ensure that, i'm gonna start with a 320m cube excavation and attempt to excavate a footprint, then fill back in any unused portion

Suggest to make a macro for placing and removing blocks. It's very helpful for big excavations. Best method I've found was building 5 stacks of foundation blocks in a line, from one end to another. (edit: Or use bombs 🙂 )

I have a Legendary one, it's solid on wet enemies. Slap a Gem of Currents on it and jump in water when you can, and if you have this as a backup weapon it can be pretty nasty.

i builded an underwater base in the middle of the new biom. you can reach the different rooms over the stairs. if u want to visit it search for " underwater base" in shared adventures. those octogons are from the carpenter, called wall water barrier, keeps the water outside and its like glas to see to the other side

I am soon finished with my swimming area. Now it looks more modern and comes with a lot more of water. 2 flat pools with water dripping from the ceiling, 1 deep pool with semi cave entrance (its glowing turquoise at night) and 1 pool just for swimming. Of course there is enough space to lay in the sun and chill. It also comes with 2 toilets, 1 food stand and 1 beverage stand and a rose garden where you have plenty of space for eating and drinking. The small house is a small warm bathhouse to chill if its too cold outside.
