No, discord overwrites the file that loads vencord, theoretically you could make the files readonly but that just brings its own issues

just repatch, doesn't take long and you don't have to do it often

Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

It's a vencord issue I think. Turning the theme on/off fixes it temporarily, but on restart it breaks again

The theme itself is not broken but when I start the client it isn't "enabled" (eventhough it shows on my theme settings it is).

Turning it on/off fixes it completely, until the next restart

Dont think it matters about the theme itself, as I have a custom theme which just patches some css to revert things like the bottom left profile bar and such. It also was "disabled" (even though it was enabled) and fixed itself after turning it on/off. The theme I am using is a custom theme (of discord reborn) which I maintain

I was getting that white screen thing that everyone kept getting, and I didn't know that it was an issue with vencord, so I cleared all my cookies, localstorage, etc, so all of the plugins were removed

My PC restarts about once per week. Every time I start up Discord I already hover my mouse over Vencord installer, assuming that Discord has removed it again due to an update.
