Discord could be more "tolerant" when it comes to modifications, because a while ago I used a modification that only modified the Discord theme, but one day I sent a print to Discord support to solve a problem and they saw that I was using modifications and warned me and since then I haven't used it anymore

Hi, good day. Vencord has been updated, but BetterFolders still isn't working, right? I mean, now the folders are no longer invisible, but when you open a folder, the sub-section appears — except instead of showing the servers from the folder inside the sub-section, they just appear like normal.

Also, isn't the image zoom super slow for you too? Like, when you left-click and then move the mouse, once it zooms in, it becomes super laggy — like it's running at 5 FPS.

Huh, looks like you tried to send Vencord debugging info, but it didn't quite work. Please check if you have Legacy Chat Input enabled in Settings > Accessibility. If not, it could be that your Vencord is corrupt or not installed! Please reinstall/repair using the installer.

looks like there's a new bug with one of the updates? I tried running a stream with osu open, or any fullscreen app it seems, and the stream on the viewer's end goes powerpoint mode. getting ready to test if it's a discord thing or a vencord thing (or potentially a plugin thing), but I think it's a vencord thing (I can't imagine a streaming issue like that could be missed).

I tried disabling the overlay, disabling audio, and streaming my full screen, and it doesn't seem to change the output. Discord also doesn't show any issues with encoding - even though the decoding rate on streams sits down at 50 to 2000kb/s with an estimated 9000kb/s for local throughput

it appears to be present even on mobile as a viewer.

we came to the conclusion that this seems to be a Discord issue - anything fullscreen when streaming, either on Vencord or Vanilla, slows the stream to a crawl - HW acceleration on/off, resolution changes, Nvidia/AMD, it's all the same. might've been a recent update fuckup they did.

So basically, when you ignore users on Discord and close the conversation, it still reopens as soon as the ignored user sends a message. I think that's incredibly stupid.

There is no way to get back the old UI.

Discord removed the experiment along with the old ui in it's entirety and isn't possible to be reverted, no client mod can

There are themes that try to recreate the old ui however;

1. We can't help with their issues (its not up to us, ask the theme authors to fix)
2. It's better to work with the new ui rather than trying to recreate the older one
3. If you want it you need to find it yourself (please don’t post links in support)

We know some people are upset about the old ui being gone, but please don't take it out on us and instead give feedback to discord

We can't do anything about it, and getting asked about it constantly is tiring

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

The most likely cause is that your install is outdated. Check if there's any updates. You can either do so using our inbuilt updater, or if you cannot get there due to crashes or similar, use the "Update Vencord" in the Installer.

Several months ago I asked if there was the possibility to pin a DM from specific friends to the sidebar where the list of discord servers are, rather than having to go into the friends section and click on their name.
