Issues like the serverlist not working or other issues only present when reverting the visual refresh are NOT Vencords fault.

we cannot help with them, if discord is pushing changes that broke the non visual refresh UI, tough luck unfortunately.

The old UI is deprecated, everyone has it and because of that it does not matter to Discord if it breaks or if it doesn't break, either live with the breaking changes, wait to see if people make themes or get used to the new UI.

Eventually the old UI will become entirely unavailable and you will never see it again, it will be gone, not all changes are bad, and yes there are things to get used to but all you are doing is delaying the inevitable.

We cannot help with issues like this, they are Discord issues and this is the Vencord support channel, we cannot help with themes that fix this stuff too, this is not a channel for theme development, themes are universal to client mods.

Please do not ask, we cannot help with this.

if the ctrl + shift + i keybind doesn't work, it's likely because a different program conflicts with the keybind. This is most commonly the AMD Radeon Software. If you have that, disable keybinds in it (see the video below)

It's more that it does the modern UI design thing of "floating" and "rounding" things that have purposes that should communicate the exact opposite, like the de-sectioned profile-mute-deafen-settings bar and new messages bar. Nothing being uniform is also an issue, it makes the whole thing feel a lot more cramped no matter what

Overall, it's design that needs a lot of work. Not an overall bad change like the font. Speaking of, they were saying basically the same thing when the font changed, but someone came up with an import about a week in and I've been using legacy font since, so it's just a matter of waiting until it's fixed, I guess. Glory to the shareholders that prompt unnecessary changes!

I'm getting the right side of the app cut off when not in fullscreen on hyprland (Linux, Wayland). This is with the new UI and no custom CSS applied. It's not happening when I try the vanilla Discord client with no Vencord. It does wrap the text properly until a certain width, but anything below like 70% of the screen width real estate starts cutting off. Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

I was just about to report the same. For channels with long descriptions or DMs with someone with many server nicknames, it pushes all the UI to the right and off screen if you're not in full screen. Seems to be a relatively simple bug but I hope its fixed. I'm just glad I found this way to revert to the old UI.

(edit: also found cases in channels with this issue of the text also continuing far off to the right)

I'm on the new UI, so I started editing a theme, the theme worked perfectly until I decided to rename the file with it still enabled on Vencord and now the theme or the original unedited one will not work on my Desktop Vencord, though the browser one works, other themes seem to work though.
I can use the theme through QuickCSS but not through actually enabling it.

I've tried restarting my computer, Reinstalling / Repairing Vencord, deleting the themes folder.

hi there, I got the old UI by using experiments, and I realized that the member list disappears if the description of a channel or dm is way too long, I played around a bit and figured out that I can fix it by deleting the <span> tags of the description, but that's not an actual fix, does someone know how could I revert that part of the html to the previous discord update so I can insert it as a CSS with vencord and fix it?

So, the plugin in question is BetterFolders. When enabled on the default or my configuration as shown in the new UI, it causes the extended list to cut off. It should be noted that prior to the update the extended list was on the right side of the primary server list, and now its on the left.

Hello I need help fixing the Magnifier plugin.
The "Magnifier" plugin uses wrong zooming equation. Zooming should happen exponential (e.g. multiply by 0.9 or 1.1 by every scroll wheel increments) but right now it happens linearly. This makes the zooming way to fast at the start, and way too slow towards the end.
