Nitro streaming quality uses a bug where Discord doesn't check if you have Nitro to stream HD video,
Emojis and stickers are just turned into image links like a normal png/gif,
Everything else is just client-side only stuff that does not affect other users or Discord servers

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Issue: Vesktop only works on first login. After the app is closed, it stops working. no extra plugins enabled
Flatpak Installation, tried updating via flatpak as well, no update prompt / option left.

wait what, I was gonna get some debug info but I ran flatpak run dev.vencord.Vesktop and it just worked... I didn't exit out of the app (forgot to)

your vencord is fully installed

if you want a good theme i highly recommend dtm08: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/XYZenix/DTM-08/master/dtm-08.theme.css

to enable dtm08 go to the themes tab in your discord settings, click on the online themes button, paste the link in the text box & click out of the text box, the theme should load

if you want to remove the theme just remove the link from the text box & click out of the text box

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
