[Vencord/plugin-requests] New comment on issue #1: Time Formatting Plugin

I think a nice additional option would be to use the system/user locale (LANG and LC_TIME variables on Linux). That would guarantee that the format is one the user is comfortable with, independent of language. Non-native English speakers will understand.
While I'm not familiar with any "nice" ways of implementing this, I have no doubt that it's possible.

Since discord added server specific profiles, you have to click edit server profile then change it there. It was way more convenient to have a button dedicated to it, and the lack of the button also let you know that you didn't have the perms to change your own nickname in the server instead of having to click another button to check that.

Plugin Description

The proposal is to create a configurable option in HideAttachments which by default makes new messages hide attachments instead of always showing them, having a rather whitelist approach than blacklist. Allowing to change Opt-out to Opt-in can make discord friendlier for work environments.

I did check for previous issues, but #163 isn't the intent of this as it's not asking for a new plugin but rather a configurable option.

Plugin Description

To add a plugin that would have a similar funtionality to the existing message logger plugin, but with the logging being persistent across PC restarts.
Currently, the MessageLogger plugin only temporarily logs messages, and edits to them.

As I'm aware that this can quickly eat up a good bit of space, I would suggest having the plugin work on a whitelist-based model, where one would have to manually whitelist servers, categories or channels which should be logged.

vesktop has a steamdeck layout, probably solves your use case

I looked into this about an hour or 2 ago and it seems very.... basic. it is a controller mapping for keyboard and mouse input which never feels quite right when you have menus in an application or game. As such I highly doubt Vesktop's steam input layout satisfies a request for controller input

Also, does Gamescope support Wayland IME for keyboard input or is it still an ugly hack just so Steam's built-in keyboard works?

Hey! I was literally thinking the same thing lol.
Like we can go to the Server Settings --> Roles. And just Right-Click on the Original role and select Clone or Duplicate.
This should create a copy of the role right under the original one.
The key part is that the cloned role will have the exact same permissions and settings as the original role across the whole server.
I really hope this gets implemented :D

I want a special button called "Discord Lock" to come to Discord. I want discord to be unusable when this button is clicked. I want the password panel to appear on the screen. I want Discord to be active again if the password that the user has previously determined is entered into this password panel.

Plugin Description

Display a pie chart next to non-multiple-choice ongoing/finished polls.

Maybe replace the current bar chart it shows entirely, or just put it next to it as there's a lot of unused horizontal space if you're fullscreen.

This might need a whole additional dependency to create, but I thought I'd ask for it while I was thinking about it.

While I am on call with people with my webcam on but the view is popped out, if the window is too small my face will completely obstruct their face or view. this is even the case when i do not even have my camera on.
