But crashes after couple of minutes or seconds

I just turned off Hardware Acceleration to see.

Deleted custom shortcuts. Hmm this looks a bit more stable now... I also cleared Discord's cache. Ok I had to re-enter my Discord creds, which is a pretty good sign that everything had been cleared up. Waiting for the next crash right now.

Is Vencord suceptable to breakage due to changes with Discord? I'm going around trying to figure out which of the many Discord mods to chose from, and that has always been an issue for me when my Discord breaks because the mod isn't yet compatible with the latest version of Discord

• to quickly save images using a browser plugin.
  i see there is a feature request open here

  which would be a more complete version of what i want.
  is there anyone working on this already or should i try to sink my teeth into it?

you can work on it, but if you don't know electron context isolation & ipc, you'll have a hard time because unlike bd, vencord does not provide system access to the browser, so you need to add file writing via ipc

i actually wanted to work on a plugin like that but haven't gotten around to it yet. and can't promise to do any time soon

well actually it would be pretty simple now that i think about it with the apis vencord provides

the hard part would be making it secure. because a plugin that allows the browser to write arbitrary files on system is very unsafe. so it would be necessary to do folder whitelisting entirely natively with user confirmation. something like show folder picker modal with electron api => user selects folder they wanna use => persist this folder => whenever user triggers the plugin, send the file bytes over ipc and save them to the predetermined folder

there’s really no point in keeping with Windows 7 anyways, alot of softwares have started to move away from supporting it and extended support has already ended. yeah, maybe during Covid it was good to use but even if it’s a old device that can’t run Windows 10, then switch to a user friendly, easy version of Linux that will run on the device

Meowdy! I recently gifted Nitro to someone and I noticed they added a emoji + soundboard picker along with custom gift messages. Is there a chance we could get FakeNitro on that?
Looking at the raw message JSON, it seems that we could just spoof the giftInfo object before sending the message. Also pretty sure that any custom emojis aren't supported in the content gift message itself, regardless of having Nitro.
