for instance, for a default rogue no talent and no spell with his rondel dagger, his stab on the other default rogue with no pants - thats 0% dmg reduction you can check the stats - you will deal 11-12 dmg per stab on the chest, but to the dummy you will get a solid 13 per stab

my theory is, the dummy is 0% dmg reduction before #3, but as the curve for ammor-reduction changed, its dmg reduction now is -5% ~ -10% maybe?

I've been running into the dungeons with the head cannon that the Lich killed the king of the realm and opened up a portal to hell to claim the souls of the damned. Many heros will have their own reason for wanting to defeat the lich, but the main character motivations could be Lawful Good dispeller of evil, Neutral Loot/Power seeker, or Evil pvp player who preys on weaker adventurers. The storytelling aspect of this game feels limitless with how many tie ins to dungeons and dragons there are.

Anything that boosts damage. and depending on what your other gear has for damage boosting stats percentage could be better than flat additional. Agility is also good because you move slow as with a crossbow out so negating some of that is good. but stacking damage in crossbow is very important as its meant to be a one shot heavy hitting weapon that you open up fights with.

Is there anyway to deal with wizards as a solo cleric? Whenever I try to close the distance they just haste+invis away and if I try to run they can also just haste right back into range and fireball any doors I close

Wizard pretty much hard counters a very melee limited class like cleric. best you can do is hold a corner and wait for a push to hit them or trap them in a dead end. its just a bad match up in general if the wizard knows what its doing. I would suggest taking the Holy Strike spell if this is a frequent problem. it will give you a bit of range attack to hit the wizard back with.
Same with a spell like locust swarm or earthquake but those take a lot of spell slot as they are high tier.

they swing slower than most classes. its important to back up when they swing by making a half turn to either side and using the A or D key to distance yourself from the attack and then punish the miss with an attack of your own. kinda like how you fight ai.

what sword? every weapon has an attack pattern. so it can be dodged if you know what path the swing will take. crouching and ducking is also a valid strat. also just running is good. they move slower than you.

Thats just the starter weapon. each class can use a variety of weapons but no matter who is using said weapon they all swing the same way. wizards have the crystal sword and barbarians can use the zwihander.

gonna have to be more specific. I would assumea hidden room nearby. look for spots in the wall that are unnaturally square or listen for the sound of stone sliding accross stone when the lever is pulled. that should help you find what it is

This lever I want to know about is under the ramp. it is under the stone ramp in normal goblin caves below the goblin mage and large chest. Unfortunatly no. but looting and killing ai is the most eficient way. escaping gives you all the xp you gained through that match and dying only gives you a fraction of the gained xp. I also know that you get more xp from escaping from the hell level and get xp from interacting with shrine and portals, including just opening them, not nescicarily taking them.

You get 5 slots on your book, each spell has a cost, your spell capacity is the total cost allowed before loading into a match, so you can't take all the high end spells like rez, sanctuary, earthquake, unless you have gear that raises your capacity

%buffs dont add much. you want a +buff to spell memory or knowledge. since it requires whole numbers to go up to higher levels. I recomend buying a oracle robe or the rawhide gloves to boos your knowledge from venors early game

my point is all thats happened is nurfs to the ranger. he only has the 2 skills. and a very limitted armor pool. yet this supposed archery specialist has the slowest arrow speed in all of gaming ever. minecraft go faster. they took away the campfire for some reason and every other class can kill him in 1 to 3 hits. this is all with base gear. yet it takes at least 5 arrows to kill a base level player of another class and thats if you get a headshot as they move passed the slow arrows.

You want to take the perk so you can skip notes. The perk makes it so you can completely mutilate a certain amount of notes per song and still get a perfect score. So on the long passages of the regeneration tune for example you just click instant and skip the whole passage. Makes the songs come out much faster so you have more time for songs and other stuff

its weapon damage that does not multiply with bonuses the same way additional does, if im not wrong (theres a video about the exact math). When getting additional damage, makes sure to always have 15 + will or 15 + strenght, or get more weapon/base magic damage instead

I've not bought the game yet although I loved playing the playtests but I've watchet a lot of gameplay on twitch recently. I was curious if there has been any thought to an enchantment system to add different elements or buffs to a weapon using NPCs, such as a flaming enchantment (to burn enemies, much like the bleed debuff) or a frostbite enchantment (which would slow players and also do tick damage) on melee weapons. This could also apply to arrows with enchanted arrow tips and also apply to wizards with the different spells giving different debuffs. I just thought it would be a cool and interesting addition to the game. 😁

Let's say the Treasurer can do this, so he will charge a tax for each deposit and withdrawn. There should be a cap at how much money should be stored. This would basically tackle 2 problems at a time:
1 - More inventory space. Since now you don't need to waste your stash space with gold, you are free to use it for store the items you deem relevant instead of have it filled with coin bags.
2 - Create a way for the devs to do some extra money sink. By adjusting the max amount of gold to be stored alongside with the tax value for each operation, the devs can fine tune the flow of money and make the economy of the game a little bit more dynamic.
