2. In your GAMMA folder, find and delete the file ModOrganizer.ini (this is a config file, do not delete the .exe file!)

Hello I have this issue. Yesterday I played my merc and I went to turn off the brain scorger mission however once I did that my whole game main story was gone, no more PDA Objectives no more teleports such as Dead City merc base ect. I googled and I found information that stated it might be possible for the game to not register the mission as done so I put these commmands in the debug console menu - task_manager.get_task_manager():set_task_completed("brain_scorcher") / task_manager.get_task_manager():set_task_completed("simulation_task_93"). After that I tried to switch to instead of Anomaly launcher it is Anomaly DX11. next day I cannot even open the gamma mod orginizer. Any ideas/assistance?

click ok, pick your anomaly folder. also we don't recommend using set_task_completed to "fix" main story issues b/c it wont' properly give you the next task in the chain, it only sets a single task as completed.

Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with the game. I recently bought it from GOG and it hasn't had too many issues, but lately I've been getting a lot of crashes, especially when facing a large number of NPCs, particularly when I take them out with grenades or explosives.

I get an error message like "0x000001fffff" or something similar, saying it's a memory issue, but my PC has enough resources to run the game perfectly fine.

Is anyone else experiencing something similar?

When the game is about to crash, the smoke from the explosion freezes, and when I look at it, that's when the game dies. It's worth pointing that out.

4. Open the GAMMA Launcher

I know that even system sounds can serve as a workaround, or any audio for that matter. In my case, i think it's because of the specialized sound card for making music. If i use another type of cable, it will assume a much larger latency. But, with stalker and even with gamma, i haven't had such issues in the past when i was using another brand of soundcards. If someone could help me figure out a permanent workaround, i would appreciate it very much.

There is one more issue i have with Gamma. Whenever i alttab, the game goes into windowed mode. And, within the game, i don't know if this is normal. But when i want to view anything inside the PDA, i have to click other tabs repeatedly to see the contents of them.

I have a problem: The Rouge quest that he gives at the end of Operation Afterglow (War within or something like that) will not trigger when I go to the elementary school in outskirts. The main problem is that this is an Invictus run, so I cant use debug mode. Yes its a vanilla mod and yes its been updated fully as of today. If anyone can help, I keep having frequent lag spikes. I’ll drop down to 5-10 fps for about 2 seconds and then back up to a decent fps. I can’t notice anything specific that causes the lag spikes, although it does seem to happen more often when I’m fighting NPCs. I've ran into a weird problem where the game closes on launch when launched via Mod organiser. When I installed the game it ran okay, I downloaded the new gamma installer, updated the game and now I get this error. I saw someone mention !k98 thingy to copy/paste files from gamma modpack_patches and the solution worked for a few times. Then I gave admin permission to dx11-avx.exe. I also gave antivirus exceptions to anomaly and gamma folders. I get no visible error message. This is very frustrating and I can't fix it. Please help 😭 the only mod I have added is the arena_dlc mod for betting on stalker/mutant fights in Rostok.

Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

so this happened with fanatic and now with hip: after a while of running together, their inventory gets stuck at somewhere between 30 and 40 kg base load, this nukes my fps for seemingly no reason at all, futhermore, i cannot empty it out through the "unlock companion inventory" mod in mo2, i can however kill them, try to loot them and get frozen for about 20 minutes for their inventory to load and then my fps will be back. you can see why this ios problematic, as the companion will die and im sitting here twiddling my thumbs for almost half an hour

To identify if the stash is indeed bugged you can do this:

1. Disable Areas above the PDA Map to remove white circles around locations
2. Right Click the stash marker on your PDA Map
3. Select Set Waypoint
4. Right Click the waypoint you just added
5. Select Waypoint Settings
6. Enable Show waypoints marker on HUD
7. Press OK
8. The on-screen waypoint will point towards the stash

Assuming you are on the latest version of GAMMA, try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps with stutters or microfreezes:

1. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
2. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
3. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
4. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
5. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS
6. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm
7. In game, go to Settings > Modded Exes > Optimization > Lua Garbage Collector and increase this bit by bit until microstutters/freezes stop. Default value is 300, people seem to find that 750-800 is the sweet spot, this will depend on your hardware
