Do the following to get an FPS counter on GAMMA 0.9.4:

Download and install this addon: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/simple-fps-monitor (In MO2, press CTRL+M, select the zip file, install and enable).
Once installed, load into your save and press F11 to open the ImgUi menu, then in the upper left corner select File > FPS Monitor > START MONITORING

Alternatively use external FPS counters like NVIDIA Overlay, MSI Afterburner, etc. or re-enable Reshade by following !reshade command in #🤖bot-commands (Reshade does take some FPS away, so it's up to you)

Sorry for insisting. I fixed the installation and have the same problem, DX11 runs good but I got the same problem in DX9. I see that w_tt33.ltx comes from mod 312 in DX11, bust still from mod 91 in DX9. The modlist.txt on github has mod 312 deactivated, reactivating it manually fixes the issue but maybe that's not the intended way. Also, DX8-9 profile activated 536 mods for me by default (537 after activating mod 312), on git it says it should be 535. I might try to fresh install later, but maybe this is the problem. @warped dove "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions, common signs include:

• Broken health HUD (all red)
• Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
• Crashing on area transition
• Can't open inventory
  Highly recommend turn on 412- Busyhands Detection and Blame - RavenAscendant mod to detect if it is really busy hands, and if so then which script caused it. Also keep it on to prevent further long term busy hands that make you lost a lot of progress. Noted that it can't 100% detect all busy hands, so common sense is still the best way

If you have it, reload an older save. Eventually this may not work anymore, you'll be in permanent busy hands, then it's time to start a new game. Read more here: #╭📖faq message

any recent cpu is fine, as long as its not an intel atom or whatever other ultra low end cpus there are atm.
The engine just uses a single core for the most part, so faster singlecore speed, faster base clock and faster turbo speeds help you more in gamma then more cores

I have the questline bug where the quests work as intended but no pda entries are displayed(and no map markers). Is there any way to fix this or only known fix is to start a new save/revert to a save file before this bugged out?

I'm talking about the lost to the zone loner main story questline as welll as the task that hip gives you to search for artifacts etc. Regular NPC tasks like assanations, wanted items, display as normal.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First close the GAMMA launcher.
2. Go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
3. Copy and paste the following command:

yeah it's caused by the drop down to DX8/9 - because you're required to load different mods in dx8/9, it changes the filepath for this one gun model and then shit breaks

caused by different filepaths in the "Covenant Weapon Pack for DX9" mod

you can PROBABLY fix this by finding the wpn_rpk16_reflex_world.ogf file from the Covenant Weapon Pack for DX9 mod, copying it, and then pasting it into gamedata/meshes/anomaly_weapons/wpn_rpk16_drum like the error says

• MO2 doesn't know where the Anomaly game folder is (since you're copying it to somewhere new). Deleting ModOrganizer.ini forces it to ask you where the fuck the Anomaly game folder is, which you want to do before you run the GAMMA launcher
• then you run the GAMMA launcher to unpack the mod files + copy over Anomaly patches

If you get the error 1364 "The application made a call that is invalid...", try the following in order until the error is resolved:

1. Try restarting your PC.
2. If restarting your PC does not help, try disabling the applications with overlay (Discord, MSI Afterburner, etc.) as well as applications like Wallpaper Engine etc.
3. If disabling software does not help, temporarily switch to DirectX 9 (use !dx in ⁠https://discord.com/channels/912320241713958912/1012510897136222293 for instructions on how to switch).
   After a certain amount of time, you can try to revert the changes and switch to DirectX 11. The bug may be fixed.

Do you have a good CPU? Use AVX (if you have a crash, it probably means your CPU doesn't support this function).
Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

4. Open the GAMMA Launcher

• none with 'no game data' flag are enabled, reinstalled with antivirus off

Turn your anti virus and firewall off (Defender, McAfee, Norton, etc) temporarily to just update / download the GAMMA mods and when done, turn it back on.

I did an Ecologist recovery mission but the quest marker disappeared after I reloaded a save (Ecologist and mutant corpses were still there and so was the quest item), now about 10 hours later I get this spammed every few seconds in the console.

I fixed my own problem by using a mod called QuickQK Task Complete- it force completes or fails a quest.

Assuming you are on the latest version of GAMMA, try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps with stutters or microfreezes:

1. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
2. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
3. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
4. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
5. Try using Meatchunk's prefetcher for G.A.M.M.A (needs 12Gb of Free RAM), in the Alternative Addons & Patches category (only works on vanilla GAMMA, may break with custom mods, recommend having a total of 32GB RAM)
6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm
8. In game, go to Settings > Modded Exes > Optimization > Lua Garbage Collector and increase this bit by bit until microstutters/freezes stop. Default value is 300, people seem to find that 750-800 is the sweet spot, this will depend on your hardware

Hello, I'm requiring aid with an issue installing GAMMA, I have my avast antivirus with all shields disabled, made an exception to the Anomaly and Gamma path folders and disabled my firewall too but on the mod list it keeps showing 548 instead of 551, tried updating a few times running the launcher as admin to no avail.

If I try to run the game it crashes, I get a
"dialogs_hidden_threat" line 127 error

I tried a few times the suggested solution of downloading the DLTX file on moddb and updating on the launcher but this error is still showing up, help please

If you get the following error in the console when trying to install/update GAMMA: fatal: Unable to create '/Gamma/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources/Stalker_GAMMA/.git/index.lock': File exists. Then do this:

1.) First make sure the GAMMA launcher is closed. Close it if not.
2.) Then go to your folder: /GAMMA/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources/Stalker_GAMMA/.git and find the index.lock file, then delete it.
3.) If you do not see the file, you may need to enable hidden files (see image).
4.) Run the Gamma launcher again as administrator and click Install/Update Gamma

for that one there were no checkboxes ticked

it can't download mods if you have them all unticked mr

all it does then is revert settings and modlist to default

So i just finished install/update G.A.M.M.A and there's an X icon that says "[2025-10-31 11:32:44.168 E] [github.cpp:170] Github: request for https:/api.github.com/repos/Modorganizer2/modorganizer/releases failed, Host api.github.com not found (QNetworkReply::HostNotFoundError)".

Anyone know how to fix this?

check the file again to check if you made mistakes or by accident put something inside it that does not belong there, if its malformed it can lead to crash

guys I updated the gamma and there is a seperator with new mods and I had 5 more mods from the update. No logs, Solarint's JSRS v5 GAMMA Patch, Teivaz Gunslinger Knives Quick Melee, Solarint's JSRS v5 GAMMA Patch. Should I enable them?

ok, the json stuff you see is expected. So you can acess that url in general, just the launcher can not. have you disabled its realtime protection for the duration of the install?

because something seems to be blocking the launchers access to github api and stalker gamma website
