@junior moon No change on VPN, still at 396. This time I watched the installation and I noticed more errors in the black window. I copied to a text file at the end, it will be incomplete since it only goes back so far. I thought maybe this was dependencies related, however, I am on Windows 10 w/ Powershell, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and DirectX are installed, and .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0 are toggled on.

Just randomly started getting this

I have noticed that my G.A.M.M.A. addons status is stuck on update available after multiple attempts to update. I then noticed the logs in the command terminal and read through the from and tried the V6 fix and nothing changed.

To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin.
5. Uncheck/Disable:

aight, so after... 6 hours of trying, it still crashes, and its mostly staying on the main menu, not starting gameplay, and i cant make sense of the crash log, at all

it just says "monolith exe stopped working" bla bla... no error message, and what ive seen is that, in the main menu it does the "reshade 5.7.0" and compiling 140 something things right... so it get halfway and once it passes that point, it crashes and thats it, no error code, and the log is so complicated i cant see whats going on

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe.
3. Copy and paste the following command:

git config --global --add safe.directory '*'
and press Enter.

4. Now close the git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.

so, anomally reinstalled, started, main menu, all okay, didnt change the render (potato pc, should use dx8 or 9 and lower shadow map, but didnt do anything with that), even started a random game, all good, looked around, quit the game session, deleted save, closed, no crashes, no nothing

but clearly i see that it is modded exes that prevent your game from launching

the log is talking about d3d debug layer, which DirectX is responsible for. so lets try hitting that spot

you're not dumb. the log can spit out random info/pathfile, it doesnt really matter in this situation

we are trying to troubleshoot things that are responsible for your game to launch properly

Hi, Im having performance issues when holding a weapon. When I start playing, everything is okay, but after about 20 mins (maybe after I die), when I hold my weapon, my game starts to stutter a lot and I get big performance drop, which happens only when hands are visible (taking meds, eating, shooting etc.) I already did some tweaks and shut down few things in mods, but it still occurs.

You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.

my issue is resolved already. Windows 11 moved the Unblock checkbox to the "General" Subtab. I'm using another .dll file to show with the green underline as the option dissappears on the "OMODFramework.dll" file after you tick "Unblock" and click OK.

if your having problems running the game i found dissabling your hdao sdao or settings helps significantly as well as going into mod options and turning ambiant oss in sss settings to low

Any reason why I used an upgrade kit in a fully repaired weapon and now: When I hover over the weapon or click details, the condition numbers on parts show they are damaged and do not change. They are in accurate.

Now I must right click -> field strip to see the percentage of my gun’s parts.

The overall condition is accurate to what the gun actually is.

This has not resolved itself in a week of game time.

I don’t have a screenshot rn, but the barrel for example always shows that it is orange and at ‘44%’ condition when hovering on the gun or inside details.

To see the real barrel condition I must use an item to maintain the part, or click ‘field strip’ to be shown the barrels true condition

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

I had this error before while playing tonight, had an old version of Gamma. Thought I would update and the error would go away but it is still coming back. Happens every time I make a new character and go out to kill my first mutants around Cordon. When I get hit by a dog, flesh or boar. Any suggestions? Completely breaking my game before I can even get a start. :/

I only have a vanilla version of Gamma. I do have English Voices and Campfire Heals Limbs turned on in the mod pack on the bottom of the list

Is there a way to disable the exo upgradesystem (needing power) withouth crashing the game?
I did this successfully in EFP, but can't get it to work in GAMMA.
I really like this mod, but I hate powered exos. I thinks i ruins the power armor fantasy among other things.

okay so, that'll be expected due to hardware incompatibilties, you can try 1 thing but otherwise, you'll be out of luck. You can try to reboot your device and see if it helps, otherwise? you'll have to play either DX9 or DX8. (try 9 then 8 if 9 doesn't work) by typing in !dx9 or !dx8 in #🤖bot-commands respectively and make sure to follow the instructions exactly.
