0) Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, without exception.

Failing to do so will result in an immediate ban. The following rules will further elaborate upon this. Note that the use of Discord clients that log messages or otherwise display hidden information is strictly forbidden, as per the ToS.

1) Be respectful and civil; don't be "that guy".

Do NOT troll, insult, instigate, argue with, or belittle other people. Do not cause unnecessary drama. We managed to cultivate a healthy, happy, and friendly environment, and we want to keep it that way. Banter is permitted as long as all parties consent to it. If they (or staff) ask you to stop, stop.
If you fail to follow this rule you will be warned, muted, or banned depending on the severity of the situation.

2) Avoid sensitive topics such as politics, religion, real-world conflicts, race, ethnicity, gender identity, the LGBTQ+ movement etc.

Do NOT actively discuss, passively mention, joke about, or post memes referencing topics that might upset other members. This includes: text chatter, links, images and image macros (memes), gifs, emojis/stickers from other servers.

Any mention of the Nazi regime, totalitarian governments and dictatorships, debate about political figures or leaders, support for nationalist and supremacist groups, terror organizations, crime and illegal activities - are FORBIDDEN.

Do NOT discuss recent wars, do NOT joke about any side of any conflict. Do NOT joke about mental health or use slurs relating to mental disorders or sexual orientation. Do NOT stigmatize or post hate towards any race, ethnicity, religion.

Any sort of material outlined in this rule - even in censored or blurred form - will NOT be tolerated. Spelling out banned terms with reacts is as severe as saying them, and will be treated as such. You will be warned, timed-out, or banned, should you break, or continue breaking this rule after you were told to stop.

3) Post content into the correct channels.

Think twice before sending your message; does it really fit this channel? While we are a S.T.A.L.K.E.R-centric server, we have other channels that can be used to discuss various topics and interact with this community:

_ _- #🎪bruh-fart - Memes, random images and videos, casual chatter, friendly banter (Rule #1 and #2 still apply!).

Please talk in the correct channels. Channel descriptions can aid in understanding what to post where. If you are redirected to a different channel by another user or staff member, move there.

4) No piracy, hacks, cheats, exploits.

Do NOT discuss (or hint at) the act of pirating media, groups or individuals within the scene or share images, videos, streams (restreaming of content on Netflix and any other platform like it), links, files, or text that may allow people to obtain something illegally. This includes files for games that were not openly uploaded for free public use, like EFP files.

"B-b-but Anomaly is-", it doesn't matter, it's against Discord ToS. Discussion revolving around exploiting existing game mechanics or features (without external tools) for the benefit of the player is permitted.
We will not tolerate any form of discussion revolving around the use of, or the making of hacks, cheats, exploits, or bypasses, for any game or service whatsoever.

5) No NSFW or explicit content.

This includes, but is not limited to: sexually suggestive or pornographic imagery, highly graphic copypastas and fanfictions, gore (of humans or animals*).

Posting such content will be met with an immediate ban.

*An exception is made for members who wish to post game or hunting/fishing trip spoils in #╟❓general-offtopic, in such cases the member must spoiler the image and warn others that the contents of the spoiler are graphic.

6) No inappropriate Discord profiles.

Your username, profile picture, banner, pronouns field and bio/status may NOT break ANY of the above rules. They cannot contain slurs, spout pro-Nazi/supremacist or otherwise hateful rhetoric towards any individual or group, support terrorism or dictatorship, have malicious links such as IP grabbers or screamers, or contain NSFW content.

Do NOT set usernames that obstruct other messages or interfere with Discord formatting or usernames that might cause confusion, such as impersonating server staff.
If found with a non-compliant profile, you will be kicked, muted, timed out, or banned from the server, at our discretion.

7) No advertising, phishing, scamming.

Unless given explicit permission from staff, you may NOT post (or send unsolicited DMs to individuals about) links to external Discord servers, as well as sites or groups, or offer commissions or promotions for games and projects - outside of designated channels. You may use the various media channels to showcase your S.T.A.L.K.E.R content, however.

Use your common sense: the moderation team does not need to be asked whether you are allowed to privately share invites to other SFW servers such as the Anomaly server (or other S.T.A.L.K.E.R servers).

If you post an invite to a different Discord server, an infraction will be added to your record automatically. If we find out you attempted to phish or scam members in private we will ban you from the server permanently.

8) Respect staff and follow their directions.

Do NOT argue with staff members about decisions they made regarding server moderation in public. If you feel you were mistreated, or have anything you would like staff to be made aware of, please message them in private.

It goes without saying that it is at our discretion whether to address these concerns or not, and that there is absolutely no need to contact all staff members at once.

If you decide to use DMs as a platform to insult staff members you will be permanently banned without chance of appeal.

9) Do NOT ping Grok, Moderators, or Helpers unless absolutely necessary.

You may ping staff members directly ONLY when there is an urgent need for their attention, for example when a member makes an NSFW post, tries to scam someone, you find an exploit or an issue that will affect other people in the short-term etc.

We don't mind getting pinged and are happy to help out, but if you ping us just to annoy us or because you want to be funny, you will be met with consequences.
