Hey, I have this problem with the SML Node occuring when launching a game and who seems to be related with the Grok's and Darkasleif's Armor Exchange addon, I deleted it in the the folders and reinstalled Gamma but it still doesn't work.

Can someone tell me which square do I have to tick to solve this problem ? ( Sorry for the quality )

I tried to update Gamma whilst unticking everything and it reinstalled the same addon

Actually do I even have the correct version of the G.A.M.M.A launcher ?

I have the crash folder for the game as directed by the bot but it hasn't been updated since the game didn't crash as it never opens. However I have a folder here called crash dumps for Mod Organizer is this what ya'll are looking for?

you are missing some elements of your UI files, disabling mods will only make it worse, I need the MO2 screenshot to do a quick check on your modpack

I'm seeing some cool stuff coming through the Dev channel so don't want to miss out.

But also I've never got this far through the campaigns before and don't want to lose my progress by being a dumbass.

also, for an update of this size, yes, very dumb. you'll want to start a new game, even if it somehow is technically "backwards compatible"

mostly what that means is just "old save doesn't instantly crash", no guarantee that the save will keep working

i presume this is an old one though? because this log seems to be describing a normal play session, which quit out normally

because the log overwrites every time you start anomaly, if the log is not being overwritten, it generally means MO2 is unable to even start the game

and that, we usually attribute to antivirus

i mean you can also send the MO2 log (your GAMMA folder/logs, newest file), why not

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

1.) Go to your GAMMA\downloads folder and delete ScreenSpaceShaders_Updatex.x.zip (x.x. means version number, and yes delete them all if you have multiple of those zip files)

4.) Run the GAMMA Launcher as ADMIN.

@manic scaffold If you are failing to download all the mods and still don't have #📍577-mods-in-mo2, then ensure you are doing the mandatory steps below:

• Completely disable your antivirus software for the duration of installation. Do not enable it again until you have a working install. For more information, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !antivirus;
• Exclude both your Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender. To learn how to do this, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !defender;
• Once the above steps are done, ensure you have the latest launcher as seen in #💽how-to-update and start it as administrator.

If the above steps still do not solve your issue, then verify your hosts file by going to #🤖bot-commands and typing !hosts. If that still does not work then connect to a VPN and try again.

If none of that works, then make sure your game is installed at the root of whatever drive you are using, e.g.: C:\Gamma, D:\Gamma - notice that there are no periods between the letters...

Do not install on an external hard drive!

ok cool. was just looking to see if there was a mod that increases the radius of the headlamp, it always seems kinda small. Just watched the creators video they had linked on the moddb page and seems to do what I was hoping for. Also thanks for showing that you can install mods like that, Ive had a few mods I've added that the default folder dir was not "main mod folder/gamedata/" and gave the error because there was an additional folder before the main mod folder.

yeah, it's because MO2 is expecting a zip file that contains a single gamedata folder in it, so if the zip file isn't set up like that, you have to tell it which folder has gamedata. this usually happens on very old mods that are packaged for manual install

Ye, its a doozy one.
You can try simply restarting your pc and see if that fixes the issue.

Otherwise its either some mod that's actually broken, in which case you'll have to run gamma launcher as admin and press install/update.

Or it's not a mod, but your gpu driver instead that's caused it.
So in that case, a clean driver reinstall is in order.
(I see latest 4000 series drivers are being unstable)

Game is a bit laggy on DX11 after making a clean install on my SSD (I’ve played gamma for almost a year if not just that and had it on HDD for ages and dealt with the lag fine) but it was still a little laggy though did look nice. Dropping to DX10 however, immediately loading into a game caused the in game screen to be strangely darkened, looking for a probable cause if any is known 🙏🏻

guys, no matter how many times I reinstall the game or start a new playthrough, after playing a while, suddenly i'm unable to access a dead stalkers inventory or clean my mask (pressing T). If I reload the last save it fixes the isssues for a while then again starts happening. I have reinstalled stalker exactly 6 times but it is still the same. I have not messed with and of the mods or anything, I play the usual gamma with 444 mods. I'm not sure if it is the 'busy hands' becasue the watch dog script mod dosent work for me. sounds like that save is cooked. watch dog script doesn't stop it from happening, it just crashes you out if it detects that the precursor to the bug is happening - if you are already experiencing busyhands on that save, installing the watch dog script doesn't do much for you, you need to have the script enabled BEFORE you start seeing busyhands symptoms

Usually any crash specific to Linux will happen before loading to the main menu, any of the usual suspect script error crashes or funny bugs after that is solvable the same way as on Win10
So if it relates to startup ctds with logs involving shader compilation, symbols, filenames, you gotta start praying (or poke me in dms)

2) Copy these four folders (check pic)

2) Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3) Windows key + Shift + S, which lets you choose what part of the screen you want to take, it will directly copy the pic for you so all you'll have to do is just CTRL + V in the chat.

Remove zoom on right-click (ADS):

Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set ADS multiplier to 1
Remove FOV change on equipping pistols:
Mod Config Menu -> Free Zoom -> set pistol multiplier to 1
Sidenote: Check your HUD and HUD FOV sliders in Settings>Visual>Basic and set them back to default if Free Zoom messed them up.

DO NOT ENABLE Bounty Squads Extended (Mod 44). It has been disabled due to a multitude of bugs. Also DO NOT ENABLE Bounty Kill UNLESS TOLD TO, even if when it's disabled and you see a crash and the error references "bounty squads" or "bounty factions" is in the log.

If you meet one of those two follow these steps:

1. Enable GAMMA Bounty Kill (under GAMMA Fixes)
2. Launch GAMMA (You may get an immediate crash, this is fine, relaunch)
3. Play as normal until you crash with an error/log referencing a nil value.
4. Disable GAMMA Bounty Kill.

he just instantly clicked it off but it just happened when he looted a npc, for some reason every time I DL gamma I have that issue and need the gunslinger fix for it, unsure if it's my DL region or something but it always fails to DL those proper, and it did so for my mate too

• Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
