If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

Three ways to see a fps counter:

1. Open console with ~ or \ and type rs_stats 1 (pops a little FPS counter in the upper left corner of the screen along with other info)
2. Use external FPS counters like NVIDIA Overlay, MSI Afterburner, etc.
3. Re-enable Reshade by following !reshade command in #🤖bot-commands (Reshade does take some FPS away, so it's up to you)

1 - 439 rather than the holy 443. What am I missing here? I've followed the update guide and im not sure whats not gone right.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Okay yeah my Screen Space Shaders are not working as intended. Flashlight is lighting up the sky in front of me, and the ambient occlusion is all messed up no matter where I look everything has a black shadow aura around it, even in the sky.

If your game has glossy surfaces, hands etc, try this :

• Disable G.A.M.M.A. Weathers mod in МО2 (!mo2search in #🤖bot-commands to know how to)
  • If the gloss still persists, disable Atmospherics Shaders Weathers and Reshade - Hippobot addon
    • Open your Anomaly/appdata folder and delete shaders_cache folder.

What's really weird; is if I adjust the Sun Rays Mode under Advanced Video settings to Screen Space or Off it no longer has the ambient occlusion shadow issues, but it also completely turns off the Sun Rays. In order for Sun Rays to work, it has to be set to Volumetric, but then I get the ambient occlusion issues from SSS.

Yeah I've been playing around with those. I've noticed under MCM > SSS > Shadows & Light if I crank up the Volumetric Resolution to 100% it significantly reduces (does not eliminate the issue) the noticeable effect around objects. Notice it is still there around the knife edge, but it isn't as blown out around it.
Unfortunately with SSS Volumetric Resolution at 100% my frame rate goes to shit. Plus, the volumetric lighting is still illuminating the sky in my flashlight cone lol. Something with SSS is really messed up here.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel

6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod

3. in the install wizard, pick the options "Boomsticks and Sharpsticks" and "Mags Redux Patch"
4. This mod should now show up at the end of your modlist with the name ACE! 52. Change its priority number to 254
5. Disable the mod 288- ACE52 Rifle Replacer - Firebreath

4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.

• Exclude both your Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender. To learn how to do this, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !defender;

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.

6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod

Depending on the situation, I change the brightness of the NVG for a comfortable game. I haven't encountered such a problem in previous updates, so this is either a bug or a new setting. I'm totally stumped guys i've been modding Stalker for years, I can usually figure out any crash I have with the log file ..Here are my specs.. 7800 x3d, 32 gigs 6400, Gigabyte 4090, m.2 Storage ..Win 11.. So I usually run Gamma plus about 150 mods.. load times are usually 15 to 30 seconds..so I was away for a min and for some reason the load times are like 5 min..I've reinstalled it like 5 times..even just base gamma the load times are like 4 min on transition.. Is this something I'm doing wrong? Do you need a log file? I'm totally stumped..

A couple of questions for you:

2. Are you using latest GAMMA launcher, not the installer? (in \.Grok's Modpack Installer\) (version 6.2 is the newest)
3. Do you see any ❌ in MO2 under Flags next to any mods (like the image)?

1. Check if you're blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen).
If you are blocked, then wait for the indicated time (+40 minutes) and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass this block.

Do not delete anything unless we told you to do so.

If you're not blocked:
2. Open your G.A.M.M.A Launcher and check if you have the latest launcher, which is 6.2.0.0;

If you don't have it, go to #🤖bot-commands, type !v6 and follow 2), 3) and 4) of the steps, then continue with this guide;
3. Disable antivirus temporarily;
4. In Windows Defender, add Anomaly and Gamma folders to Exclusions like this below:

6. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
7. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..
8. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

If it does not work then try the !v6fix command.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

I use "AURA" to see how warm my PC are, my "ASUS TUF MB and GPU" use it but in game the light start´s to flicker (green/yellow) I tryed to change to °C value but its still happend...

If you are playing with MAGS REDUX:

1. Make sure you disabled the "GAMMA Unjam reload on the same key" mod

3. Make sure you added magazines to your loadout (alt-click or right click -> "add to loadout")

hey sorry for the late update. i reinstalled/updated like five times. each time it took forever to redownload some mods to no avail. i did fix it though by looking up the specific file giving me issues. it was wpn_gauss_condition.dds from the mod "76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich\gamedata\textures\wpn" after i downloaded the mod online and replaced said file manually, it worked like a charm. thank you so much for your help. I am letting you know what fixed it in case someone else has the same issue, that way you will have an easier time assisting them. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me 🙂

At the end of the file (line 45) you should see the line
