Hey, I'm having an interesting issue. Scenario: Playing the game for an hour or so in Rostok organizing my 1 stash...finally a decent shotgun and sks. Been trying to get this to run well and originally got the game running ~45-50fps on dx11. I forget exactly what I was unhappy with but tried to change some things (only vanilla stuff no extra addons) and ended up breaking my game.

Deleted everything and reinstalled fresh and now dx11 runs at <=30-35 and even dx8 only reaches 45 with minor dips.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Don't use the Turn this on if you stutter mod
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm

• Completely disable your antivirus software for the duration of installation. Do not enable it again until you have a working install. For more information, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !antivirus;
• Exclude both your Anomaly and Gamma folders in Windows Defender. To learn how to do this, go to #🤖bot-commands and type !defender;
• Once the above steps are done, ensure you have the latest launcher as seen in #💽how-to-update and start it as administrator.

If the above steps still do not solve your issue, then verify your hosts file by going to #🤖bot-commands and typing !hosts. If that still does not work then connect to a VPN and try again.

Last time I had a working GAMMA install was with launcher version 5.0 so I decided to do a clean install after running into weird issues.

Hey guys, has anyone managed to get Anomaly/GAMMA sound to work on a TV hooked to a PC with HDMI

Anomaly was made on an engine from 2009, it has SEVERE issues with audio outputs

it can't even swap them midgame without a restart

so something like that is beyond it's functionality

3) Go to your Anomaly folder

5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
6) Go to your \Anomaly\bin folder and delete d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll files.
It won't delete your save files.

as soon as you start changing the modlist, the troubleshooting steps for gamma go out of the window. mods can interact strangely and a gunpack as large as UGP changes a LOT of how gamma works

this is why we have two separate rooms for it and why we redirect people with customized modlists to the custom modlist support channel

If you really want to play a game from the franchise, then you might be able to run Shadow of Chernobyl.
Your CPU should be able to handle it, not entirely sure about your iGPU but it might be fine.
There are some really good and performant mods for that game that bring it slightly more in line with modern games.

The reason i thought i could run gamma is mainly because since CoP is old, doesnt demand much to be played with good graphics + i THOUGHT it was a single mod that reworked the entire game but came to the realization there were 443 mods which made me doubt 💀

Im getting this when i click Start after choosing my loadout

I looked a good 20-30 feet away from the map marker in all the bushes, at the tree trunks, etc. All the places stashes would normally be. The map marker is right on a gravity anomaly where my blood puddle is, but I can't find the stash. I used demo_record 1 to look high in the air, under the ground, and in the branch to look for it but I can't find it anywhere. Is there something I'm missing or is something wrong?

@crisp hornet To unlock every faction from the beginning, you can type greh/renegades/isg/z when you start a new game in the character creation screen.
Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like an actual console command.

For example, if you LITERALLY WRITE on your keyboard isg, and then you open the faction menu, you'll see the UNISG icon. Same goes for the other factions.
Another good example, ever played GTA? Do a "GTA cheat" in the character creation screen.

Managed to solve it? You need to open ModOrganizer, filter mods by name, type "wepl", RMB on mod, click reinstall, expand that first folder in the reinstall window, then drag gamedata into <anomaly>, click OK

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

Nah I ran into issues reinstalling because it was "installed with an older version of mod organizer". It seemed pretty inconsequential so I just turned off the problematic mod and have been playing with no issues

Why does my game crash when I get out of Cordon? It had a memory read issue, but rn I can't even get the error message

most of the time it's a missing/corrupt mod file but obviously we can't trace down which one

so if fixes like delete common squads don't work, usual next step is clean reinstall of the mods

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..
