If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

I just downloaded and installed gamma. Game has been started several times no issues, but i cant get survival mode to load only zombies, ive tried it 2 times, restarted the game, then tried it again 2 times. There is no zombie horde. Im spawning at cordon. Ive pushed through the map all the way past the bridge and looked everywhere and there are no zombies. Even ran into a group of mercenaries. But im on survival only mode.

1) While in game, press F12, go inside Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If the screenshot isn't there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2) Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3) Windows key + Shift + S, which lets you choose what part of the screen you want to take, it will directly copy the pic for you so all you'll have to do is just CTRL + V in the chat.

Question about survival mode. Maybe I am misunderstanding, but I thought it spawned zombies in place of mutants? I am new to this game and started as a Merc and quickly ran into some psy thing and some snorks, so it seems to not be working? I also didn’t see any zombies except one corpse.

2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.

• In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.
• If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking Install / Update G.A.M.M.A..

meaning that it's likely to be triggered again on that savefile at some point

the underlying bug is script related, an issue with the event timing queue/certain callback refreshes, which you can't fix as a player

it will deactivate them all, they will get placed at the end in random order. this is a good thing since you should redo your custom modlist after a major update anyway
same with your settings, everything will get reset, redo them all

Haven't played Gamma for like a week and launching the game now results in black screen in the main menu

pressing alt+enter turns it into a pseudo-windowed mode and viewable again, but the game screen is so small and the mouse would be out of focus so I can't adjust anything

I'd press Home on the main menu screen (I know by the main menu music in the background), press Alt+Enter so I can see the game's screen (it looked tiny but I can make out which part of the shader overlay I was clicking on) I select a random preset that's not the same one I was using (I couldn't read what each one says the screen was too tiny) apply the preset then pressed Home again

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

You'd have to delete the shader cache folder each time you switched from Anomaly to GAMMA. And of course, gamma saves don't work on Anomaly vanilla (and vice versa)

Can someone help me, my game wont launch after my laptop suddenly closed

Guys I have a very weird and annoying problem.
I recently upgraded my GPU and instead of seeing an increase in FPS the opposite happened...
I had a GTX 1650 super and I was getting 55~65 fps. Then when I installed my new GPU (an RTX 3070ti) I'm getting 20~30 fps!!
For reference I have 16gb of 3200 RAM as well as an I5-11400f and using a 1080p monitor.
And for game settings I'm running it on the recommended settings from the #╰⚡fps-optimisation channel.

Even when I look into the sky which with the old GPU would see my FPS increase to 75fps now it gets maxed out at 31fps

What's annoying me is why I'm getting lower fps with a much more powerful GPU compared to the old one.

1- i don't. I didn't update the latest version because of a launcher error that didn't get answered and I put my own mods on top of vanilla GAMMA too. But I really don't think these are not the issue since the game was working just fine with those too.

@zenith thunder Thank you, I got past the shader error but I've been running into an odd problem for a few weeks now. After lauching DX11/10 from MO2 I just get a black screen, I never even reach the main menu. DX9 works, but my PC is DX12 so I should be able to run DX11. I just updated my PC to see if that would fix it but still no luck, any ideas on what might be the problem? I know a screenshot is mostly redundant but I'll post one anyway.

Open your Anomaly/appdata/logs folder and send your xray_[username] text file (.log) here. (image for reference below)
