How do I do a fresh install of MO2? I don't see it in the Apps & Features list in Windows. I need to point MO2 to a different Anomaly install folder, but every time I launch MO2 it reverts back to C:\Anomaly.
I have two Anomaly installs. One for GAMMA (C:\Anomaly GAMMA) and another for vanilla + BaS (C:\Anomaly).

Maybe I'm just tired, but I'm struggling to understand the difference between the launcher options "Check MD5" and "Force git Download". If "Check MD5" is enabled, doesn't that download the addon if there's a discrepancy? Idk why this is confusing me.

It will download the mod and install an updated one.

I'm doing the hotfix install now, and have both Check MD5 and Force git download enabled, but it is not downloading each file from Github as far as I can tell.

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Uhh in my game when I turn off depth of field it stays off. Have you tried booting the game, going into settings and turning off DoF, then exiting the game without loading any saves? Try just doing it from the main menu, exit the game, then reboot the game.

I posted a question about this kinda late last night and didn't get much feedback so I'll ask again. Has anyone come across anything weird with Rookie village becoming hostile with no obvious reason? I didn't catch a loner with a stray as I didn't have any fights involving any other loners and I'm not wearing faction armor so it's nothing related to that unless the Overcoat is bugged. My install is vanilla and prior to the hostilities, all I've been doing is the Cordon-Garbage route for tasks and stashes on day 2 of my save.

Hi, so I was playing before and game crashed. I thought it was just another stupid crash that happens from time to time, but now as I am trying to play again many things seem bugged. Equipping night vision just makes the whole screen blurry, limbs system is bugged (doesn't show body hp, all limbs are without hp and some limbs are with yellow first aid heal full bar) and when I try to open another quicksave game crashes and gives me this error: [error][ 87] : The parameter is incorrect. Ok I noticed something weird, when it's night, even on dark night, it's like light curves are clipping and I see darker spots very saturated, with iridescent tones (like when you look at a puddle of oil/petrol at a certain angle).
I'm playing on a 4k HDR Oled TV so that may be?

I have no reshade (uninstalled it), HDAO on at High quality, "slighty brighter nights" or "Dark nights" doesn't make any difference.

Is there any fix for lag "stacking up" after location transitions? If I launch the game and load a save I have no lag and short save/load times, but as soon as I cross a few locations the lag is like 5x worse and it takes 30+ seconds to save until I close the game and load a save again. If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.

did something break on my part or do barrels just disappear now when switching them out with a replacement barrel at a workbench? i swear i used to do this to temporarily switch barrels to clean it, then switch back. However the replaced barrel just seems to disappear now

Hello, i can't seem to use night vision googles? i have them in my headgear and when i press the button nothing happens, further when i click the button for my torch it turns on a headlamp that i don't have anymore? i crafted the night vision googles while i had the headlamp i used to craft the nightvision on my head while i was crafting it, perhaps that caused a bug?

that should toggle your nvg on and off. Also, I think its supposed to be like that with your L key, the nvg is night vision and headlamp combined

haha, no worries. Tapping N while the nightvision is on lets you adjust the brightness, too

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.
