I figured this out, and have seen 2 other people in the last month with the same problem not figure it out. For me, the Full_upgrades_DLTX Pretty Pistols Pack patch was referencing the HS2000, which was overridden by Gunslingers HS2000, causing a crash. Not nearly as confusing as expected, but since it wasnt clear i figured you'd like to know what the solution was. I had suspected DLTX but it was more annoying than i thought.

Unfortunately i'm stupid and picked a message in the default support channel to reply to instead of custom, so there is that.

I'm not sure how to share the error message so I will jus type the description. "Application Error - The instruction at 0x0000000140072B46 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000014. The memory could not be read.

Everything prior to accepting that specific Aslan "Parent of Fear" quest in Red forest worked fine, prepped myself, went to Red Forest thru Army Warehouses and the game would crash and deliver that message. I'm going to try an earlier game save before and just avoid accepting that quest

Hey Guys, I'm back with another issue. Not a bug per-se but rather a graphics issue. After upgrading to RC9 the graphics seem to have taken a turn for the worse. Everything looks almost pixelated, like the lighting isn't working properly with very harsh shadows cast by everything and objects looking very dim unless they're directly lit, reducing the graphics to "Shadows of Chernobyl" level. All the graphics settings are set to high and I'm running DX11 with AVX enabled. This was not an issue pre-upgrade (I ended up doing a complete re-install), so I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered it and knows the solution. See screenshot from the Swamp.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)

5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.

Game has bugged for me and shows my health as 0 and the game softlocks my character when eating any food item or health item. The game also crashes if I try to reload an earlier save.

Hi. I have issues with weird "stripped" shadows probably mainly around trees. And its happening mainly in morning and evening, when sun is low. Also, its happening around border of the screen, not when I directly look at that area.

I fully fixed it, at least I think. I got no errors in cmd. What I had to do

1. was download all the non large file mods inside the launcher, even if I got errors in cmd I ignored them.

Sadly I did everything in that section but nothing changed, not even 3 extra fps. Had to do a fresh reinstall to get the shaders and all that stuff properly installed. I've got a 7700k @ 4.8ghz , 32gb ram and 1060 6 gb oc. I've played Gamma before like 4 months ago and I've had no issues.

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

hey there folks, downloaded GAMMA yesterday and already sank multiple hours into it. The game ran great for multiple hours until i needed to travel to Army Warehouses for a quest and encountered this fatal error. I am quite illiterate with computers but even i can tell it's a missing model from the SIG 550. I looked through FAQ, Known issues and Troubleshooting but couldn't find it. i also noticed i only have 379 mods while the bot says there should be 380? thanks in advance. i didn't mess with anything but i noticed a lot of unchecked ones.

Sorry if this isn't the right spot, but there's no topic header matching my issue. I last played GAMMA in December. I got the new launcher, updated GAMMA, and now all the enemies have insane amounts of health. New games, I run out of ammo headshotting rookie bandits with the TOS 20gauge and have to knife them. Old saves, I die at the same right while I mag dump enemies and not even faze them. Stealth headshots still instakill. I'm not sure what happened. Do I need to fresh install or something?

As a guitar player myself, i feel like the guitars being this out-of-tune doesn't have anything with stalkers are not professional guitar players, because the problem is with guitars, not stalkers who plays them. Hi there everyone, I've been playing Gamma for a while now but but my last update was when version 0.9 first came out, so I decided to update with the new launcher earlier today but now I get an error when I lauch the game, that says, "Shader compilation failed, check your log file for additional information." 3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Yeah, the mod that causes the issue is from gamma large files.
You have 2 options manually reinstall that mod which requires some extra clicks. Or reinstall the gamma large files as a whole.

I do not understand how the MCM menu for Stealth works. The modpage only says that lower sliders mean its harder to be detected but that makes no sense... for example, in MCM the "distance" slider is tooltipped "distance multiplier". Doesn't a high slider mean that the distance effect gets multiplied whether it is positive or negative?

hi i just started a new game and i noticed that there arent any mutants or stalkers in the world to the point that even characters like Wolf and the trader at the farm are just not even present. i played on a different character before this and noticed that the freedom medic was missing aswell but i havent changed any settings to the population before playing any of these new saves

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
4. DRAG AND DROP the content of this archive inside your Anomaly folder

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

it changes ALife settings, should drastically decrease the stutters... but will add extra load onto cpu, so performance might slightly decrease

also note, you're playing on an old af engine that is also single threaded

the game will stutter no matter what, especially if you play it on HDD

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

To bring your mod list back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

1) Open the Launcher with admin rights
2) Uncheck every box
3) Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

In-game settings

To bring your in-game settings back to default, DON'T press the "default" button in the game menu - you'll mess up everything. Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2) Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)
3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt
2. xray_yournamehere.log
3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Hmm, I'm not sure why those 3 are staying corrupted. Grulag's dead bushes you can just delete because it's not active by default anymore. Artefacts spawn under maps I can send you to overwrite with because it's a small .zip, but retrogue's additional weapons is 850+mb so I can't send you that one
