hey i installed gamma yesterday and it says there should be no flags in the modlist. However I have a couple:
Anomaly Radio Extended,
Longreeds fixed artifact spawns under maps,
Retrogue's Additional Weapons,
Grulag's Dead Bushes (disabled).
Is this normal? or if it is not how do I fix it?

Update the game one more time, if afterward you still see flagged mods, expand the category, sort by "flags" column and show me all the mods affected

So the blue filter doesn't activate during psy mutant attacks. It's only static psy fields.

I just finished re instaling the game on a new hard drive , I completly uninstaled the old game on the other drive and reinstalled it from scratch on the new drive , and evreything seems fine however im 1 mod short on the mod list than i was before and my game is having a wierd visual problem ..

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

mags redux is bugging out for me a little bit
fire a few shots > gun 'jams" (gun isn't jammed, i press unjam button (not r) and it just doesnt shoot)

well! with that same weather editor it's possible to tweak the fog values if it bugs you that much. there aren't that many presets so it shouldn't take long to go through each problematic one, mess with the density and save it

provided the game actually ends up using those edited presets. common sense says it should but I can't be sure

yea as of recent a lot of people been reporting problem associated with corrupted mod files so I would update again if you run into issues relating to a game mod, in your case the crash error points to a mod from github

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to obtain or buy coordinates to actually find something in them.
These coordinates can be obtained as rewards from completing quests, purchasing stash locations from specific vendors, stalker corpses and by reading and turning in the PDAs that you can find on the** bodies of stalkers you kill**. If said PDA is locked, you'll need to go to a mechanic and pay him to unlock it.

Stash coordinates received from quests or bought from traders will only mark stashes in the regions around where you bought the stash or turned the quest in.
For example, buying a stash from, or turning in a quest to Sidorovich will only give you stash locations in Great Swamps, Meadows, Darkscape, Garbage, Dark Valley, Wild Territory, Agroprom and Yantar.

hello xray professionals, I have a really consistent unhandled exception crash every 10-20min or so, sometimes rarer if I'm lucky. Seems to be related to this shader specifically;
S:\Games\ANOMALY\appdata\shaders_cache\r3\pda_overlay.ps\15361111001100000000000010000000000010000000000
Everything in my modlist is standard except for disabling the recommended shaders + stutter fix and anything marked HD/overlay, so at 374 mods active. I get a couple other shader related crashes because of very old GPU but this one is the most consistent. The logs say it makes a crashdump but my GAMMA folder is empty otherwise I'd offer that too.
Any insight on what else to disable or do? I'm already deleting my shader cache every time before I start the game and it seems to have a reasonable effect in stopping the crashes that little bit longer.

I noticed that Win11 Auto HDR has a lot of visual problems in GAMMA. Is it just me?
Any dark scene looks horrible, too bright or pitch black with really heavy banding. The gamma slider doesn't fix it.

Once I turn off HDR in Windows, the game has proper shadows again with no banding or artifacts. I wanna play with HDR though...

which I already have disabled alongside the other 4-5 shader things that're listed to kill in framerate optimization, but you're right if all my years of playing stalker has told me anything it's grass is incredibly unruly and needs to be cut and trimmed. Maybe try dx10? dx11 was always pretty finicky back in the day but I assume you're much like me and there's some graphical/shader/glowing fruit punch effect called that your gpu/cpu is spitting a nasty fuss about.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

Why does every update completely reset my keybinds/my settings/my mods/my stuff in general?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list and a default list of keybinds and settings, just to make sure everyone has the same things.
When you update, everything goes back to default for this reason, so yes, it's normal.

I'm clearing shader cache folder in anomaly every start up. There's possibly some old dependencies still hidden away from an old AMD card that was in this pc prior to throwing in this old as SHOC GTX 260, what AMD stuff might cause issues?

Doesn't sound normal for stormy weather to have the emission sound so im just trying to get some info that might point to a sign that perhaps your mod list might be messed up as a result. Regardless, chances are you might have either something corrupted or caused the sound to get mixed up.

1) Add Gamma and Anomaly folders to the Windows defender exclusions and disable real-time protection temporarily, before downloading the file.

3) Go to [YOUR GAMMA FOLDER]\.Grok's Modpack Installer and extract the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher.exe here ( Picture for reference below )
4) Delete G.A.M.M.A. Installer.exe
5) Launch G.A.M.M.A. Launcher.exe with Admin rights and either follow the 1st time setup procedure, or follow the instructions from the Helper.

Alright, so i just updated gamma and now the game is black screen past the main menus and loading screens.

Either something didn't install correctly, or you disabled YACS mid playthrough

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin
2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end. DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.
