Guys, something is wrong with 4k performance. At defualt settings at 4k with shaders enabled I am getting 40 fps. After disabling all shaders and lowering some graphic options I still have 40 fps. Meanwhile lowering resolution to 1440p gives me like 150% FPS boost, is this a bug This game shouldn't run that bad at 4k on my 3080...

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

so ive learned that my occasional stutters and freezing comes from crossing specific invisible barriers in the game. this appears to be the game loading something because it happens in the exact same spots every time and nowhere else. is this normal or is there a way i can solve this? i have done all of the !stutter fixes, as well as dedicated my NVIDIA GPU to it. my FPS is perfectly fine and runs great. ive easily soaked a 100+ hours into vanilla anomaly with zero FPS issues at max graphics

4. While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam

   Bonus) You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

Question. I just got the military mission to go and get the decoder and storm the head monolith base. However, the guy mentioned "Go talk to the doc to get information about the decoder" but when I went to him, all he did was tell me to fuck off. I know where the recorder is, but its locked behind a door I can't get behind. Is there anything I can do? Would at this point, the door just be open or do I need to do something?

Hey guys, I'm in Prypiat, and the game keeps crashing whenever I try to loot a Monolith's inventory if he has an RPD.

I literally just tried spawning one from debug menu and the game crashed instantly

2. Extract the zip, you'll have a folder
3. Open the folder
4. COPY the content of this folder
5. PASTE the content of this folder inside your Anomaly folder
6. Overwrite everything when asked to do so
7. Open the installer with admin rights
8. Click on Download G.A.M.M.A. data AND THEN CLICK Full G.A.M.M.A. Installation

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

I understand the 'Data Error: is expected and should proceed as normal but after the extraction finishes NOTHING is extracted. When I try to extract to the desktop the DOWNLOAD folder it just doesn't show up. So why am I downloading this zip file if nothing is extracting from it anyway and this behavior is 'Expected'?

In the Quest Living Legend after killing all the Monolith in the Tunnel to Pripyat on the way to the Exit where the Zombies normally spawn my game crashes.
