Oh, I know. My favorite is grabbing an offensive rebound and not being able to put it back in point blank because some goober with anchor is flailing around wildly off to the side of me

And I love these 6'9 centers that weigh 200 pounds not being able to be backed down and dunked on by my 7-2, 260 pound 96 str center

That's even if I get to back down before the vultures come over and start steal spamming until they knock the ball out, or steal the pass as your trying to pass out of the double/triple team

But anchor is literally the only badge that makes a noticeable difference in blocking and it still doesn't block everything. They might need to bug fix it a bit but nerfing it would not be good.

@crisp delta No. Bullet Passer is not a badge this year. They tie it into your Pass Accuracy. I believe that Fast Twitch and Rise Up should get the similar effect. I’m tired of seeing slow standing layups and dunks.

In nba myleague there are so many problems with glitches. For years the problem with the default draft class appearing in free agency after a fantasy draft persists and is a league killer. A fantasy draft usually last 2 to 3 hours only to have to restart if this happens.

In the league I'm currently running at the end of the first season all players contracts glitches and everyone in the league went to free agency.

Relocating and rebranding your teams still seems to cause problems that make the league glitch put including glitching the freestyle so it dashboard anyone that tries to enter it.

Somehow there is still the issue of games not counting after they are played. This seems like the most fundamental part of the game is game counting.

It would be great as a league creator if I could assign coadmins roles that only allowed then to do so much. Like just reset games and push free agents. But not edit players. Or at least there should be a log that everyone can see showing anytime a player is edited and who did it.

The feature to do defensive setting against teams outside the game has never worked. Would be a great feature since some people take 3 to 4 minutes on these settings every game. Bit if these settings are done outside if a game it just lags you out and resets them all to default.

These are just a few concerns I have as a league creator. There are more but addressing some of this stuff for the next game would be a good start to improving the game play.

How would this for NBA players? With the current rosters (from 2kratings) Bobans standing dunk would be just as fast as Zion and Aaron Gordan. Jokic, Fox, Mitchell, and Luka would also have the fastest standing layups. The NBA players usually have good close shot so centers would need a higher block and vertical on average to keep up

Alright 2K, I know me and so many others are starting to sound like a broken record, but steal spamming is out of control. When there are more steals in the Rec then in any other basketball game in the entire world, that's a problem. It is ruining the gaming experience for soooo many who just want to play a REAL basketball game. The fact that none of the 2K staff or devs have talked about this and fixed it for the community is unacceptable. I've been a fan of 2K basketball games for quite some time, but after the lack of respect from the devs in addressing these issues, this may be the last 2K basketball game I ever purchase. I don't understand for a development team that says they love basketball, how they can't make a game that ACTUALLY represents REAL basketball. It's extremely depressing and frustrating for all of us REAL basketball fans across the world.

Not that many people, the few that plays the game 99% of them cheats with 110 stats offline, 90% online cheat, with max stats , all badges maxed out, some of them cheats with long arms, huge body.
In MyTeam it's the same, full roster with 110 overall.

Well let's start with offense... Wayy too many speed boost animations. That's literally all ppl do in rec, stepback-takeoff, post the air- speed off. Passing so dang slow that the 2-3 zone is dang near unbeatable. Why are flashy passes the fastest passes on the game? HoF slippery off-ball doesn't help much with NOT running into ppl. Arms and the ball still fo through players resulting in horrible steals. The amount of dropped offensive rebounds is insane! All passes go through 1 of 5 zones so that makes it even easier for cheesers to get steals. Dunks and layups are so dang slow, you might as well not goto the hole if u don't have a dunk rating... last I checked Steph and Kyrie finish quite well with just layups. Floaters the slowest shots on the game. Why on offense u just run in place if someone moves in front of you? Why does the game struggle with making u shoot running jumpers when you not moving...

I guess glitchy isn't the main word to use for this rant. I'll come back for defense in a min.

oh not too mention, passes are wayyy too low, even on full court passes. U can have a person wide open in the paint, pass it and someone at the FT line or 3pt line gets a steal... that's not realistic at all.

From my understanding slippery off ball more of a counter to off-ball pest, but from videos of people testing it the best way to trigger it is to use the offball moves. Which I don't think it brings up. Layups and floaters are still slow but they did add a couple different ones

Offensive rebound could be the hands stat. Before we had glue hands and now I guess vice grip but hands is tied to ball handle. Guessing low ball handle could be triggering more drops like it does for bobbling pass catch animations. Just a guess.

The positioning is still important. Personally I have a 6'7 PF and am able to get rebounds over bigger players when I'm in position. My vertical is also higher for that. I've seen a lot of people online having more offensive than defensive rebound. Probably because it's cheaper.

I think it has to do with having input in the left stick. Which I do a lot online since people attempt steals so often. My guess is any left stick input makes it a leading a pass.

Idk anytime I play with my friends that have the tallest maxed reb centers, they still get outrebounded by the same type of center. Rebounding is extremely unrealistic due to rebound chaser. Players aren't jumping across the whole paint that often to get rebounds. If body collisions made more sense it would change how rebounding worked.

They just need to fix passing in general. Anytime I icon pass with a normal pass, it takes like 3 seconds for my player to actually pass it. By then they're no longer open

This is possibly passing styles. At least in the meta for mycareer everybody is using one style or none because fundamental has a higher chance at triggering slow windups for passes. I use Lamelo for my PG I think and all of it's passes are longer windups. Seems to work ok in shorter games since it might throw people off but not for long

Yea chaser increases the tracking from my understanding. Personally I'm chalking a lot slower movements to longer arms and lower vert. Just my personal assumption for me for my builds. They removed the negative to stats for longer arms but in my mind it makes movement slower.

They can do a lot but usually have the same weaknesses. They can't close shot so a smaller PF can use clamps to catch them at the edges of the paint. Have to bump them off course before they can trigger limitless. They usually don't shoot midrange so you can stand behind them on a drive to give them less room for moves and switch with the big. If they are good at getting rebounds just try to always stay between them and the basket. Personally I like to give them the 2 and start cutting off where they usually like to go with clamps and off ball pest. I like to believe having some weight and strength helps bump them off course but it's possibly just in my head

It's less change things and more they could be considered objectively worse. Pass speed is already tied to pass accuracy so most builds probably don't have much with how much it costs. Then they have the pass styles having a chance of the windup being slow. I still like the idea of them. Theoretically it should stop teams from having really accurate bad passes throughout a game but it's not in the best state from what I understand of it

They made it this year so the shot timing matters more so unless you have an 'Excellent' release you have a very small chance of making it. The higher the timing impact is on your shot the more important it is but you still need to get the timing right

Try different release timings and jumpshots is the best advice I can give. Get one with the right 'feel' then get better at releasing at the right time. That and be open and standing still

I usually don't give build or jumpshot recommendations but if you put your 3pt/Mid rating and player height it should make it easier for somebody to come up with one

so in other words, the rating in and of itself doesn't determine whether or not you make shots, it just allows you to create/use better shots? which in turn helps in making the shots?

It's easier to make shots with a higher rating. I think the window is supposed to be bigger but you still want ideal conditions. You want to be standing, open, and have stamina. Low stamina will slow down the release. Being contested can speed up your release. Moving shots have their own timing that you have to get used to and still subject to the other two factors.

Just because a jumpshot has higher ratings doesn't necessarily make it better for everyone. The lower timing impact means you should get less punishment for poor timing (you'll probably still miss most of the time, but sometimes slightly goes in). Personally I like to try to have a B release speed and try to get my defensive immunity as high as I can. Some the higher defensive immunity bases require higher 3pt/Mid but also higher timing impact from what I remember

Right i understand that eventually the older platforms die off, nature of the gaming industry. But developers taking away basic features and moving them to next gen only shouldn't be accepted as the new norm. Essentially every feature i've seen that has been for PS5/Xbox Series is nothing that couldn't have been handled on last gen. If you're going to remove stuff just because you spent more time on it then don't even make the game for the previous generation console. This is one of the many reasons the gaming industry is going down the toilet fast.

My guess is you probably need to get your block up first. With 6'7 SF you need at least 70 block on your build before you can apply the badge

The shooting needs to get patched or something needs to be done. I spent so much money on the game ($300+)to not be able to shoot A three is crazy. Can’t even make shots on pro my career games Doesn’t matter if it’s open doesn’t matter if it’s green it misses I have a 90 point rating 24-26 shooting badges Agent three gold volume shooter, gold catch and shoot silver green machine silver and gold limitless range silver space creator, silver guard up silver deadeye silver and can’t even make a wide open green light I really wasted money on this game and on the character if you guys have no intention of fixing it and I know I’m not the only one with this issue the shooting is broken and I don’t appreciate that I spend money and still can’t make a shot I honestly want my money back for the three point character I made it’s a waste and I’ll just make a center or slasher or just not play a 2k ever again this is the first 2K I have given a chance since 20 literally played from 14 all the way to 20 then stopped then decided to give it another try with 23 and I regret my decision.
