COMMUNITY RULES
Please read these rules carefully and help us keep the server running smoothly! Some channels may have additional rules in the description.
Breaking the rules may result in a mute or ban.
**RULE 1: Be respectful to everyone.**
Disagreements may happen and that's okay, but it's never okay to use insults, discrimination, or bullying. No harassment of other players will be tolerated, including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, misogyny, etc.
**RULE 2: No spamming.**
Do not send a lot of messages one after another or repeat the same message in multiple channels. Avoid pinging too much or when it’s not necessary.
**RULE 3: No soliciting, promoting, or selling.**
Do not solicit anything from others, including in-game transactions, through the server or direct messages unless you have permission from the moderators & 2K staff.
**RULE 4: No age-restricted or illegal content.**
Age-restricted, NSFW, or illegal images, videos, and conversations are not allowed. Please keep language PG-rated.
**RULE 5: No political or religious content.**
Serious topics such as politics and religion are not allowed, even if discussed in a civil manner.
**RULE 6: No misinformation or impersonation.**
Do not share false information or pretend to be someone else, including other members, moderators, 2K staff, or famous people. Verified 2K Staff have 
next to their usernames.
**RULE 7: Follow our NBA 2K Code of Conduct.**
Do not violate or discuss how to violate the Player Code of Conduct, the Creator Code of Conduct, or the Terms of Service. Players who engage in toxic behavior, cheating, or other means to gain an unfair advantage, diminish the overall experience for the rest of the community. To ensure the safety and security of each member of the community, NBA 2K actively monitors player behavior both in and outside the game.
**RULE 8: Listen to moderators & 2K staff.**
Do not appeal or discuss moderators' decisions or moderation in public channels or encourage others to do so. If you would like to report another member for breaking the rules or believe you have been muted by mistake, ask for help by opening a ticket. Do not try to find loopholes around the rules.
**RULE 9: All channels are currently English-only.**
Our moderators must be able to read all messages sent in the server.
**As a verified server, we follow Discord Guidelines.**
