We've seen a lot of you asking about how to get the 12-month NBA League Pass that comes with NBA 2K23 Championship Edition.

1️⃣ Install the NBA 2K23 Championship Edition and launch the game on your console.

2️⃣ Login to your 2K Account or create a new 2K Account using your preferred email. Make sure your email is up to date and verified. From the Main Menu, head to: Feature > Options > Settings. Make sure to verify your email by clicking the link you receive.

3️⃣ If you purchased the physical NBA 2K23 Championship Edition, redeem your Championship Edition Bonus Content code per the instructions on the insert provided within the game box.

4️⃣ You must complete the above steps before December 18, 2022. Your NBA League Pass code will be delivered to your 2K Account email within five days of completing the above steps, with the first codes being sent on or around September 27, 2022.

[NEW GEN]

GENERAL
• Preparations for NBA 2K23 Season 2, launching this Friday, October 21st, at 8AM PT/11AM ET/4PM BST. Stay tuned for what we have in store!
• The Bill Russell “6” logo has been added to the court floor for all 30 NBA teams
• The Bill Russell “6” patch has been added to the uniforms for all 30 NBA teams
• The ability to quickly toggle between players on the Edit Player menu has been restored
• Players assigned to teams from the Create-a-Player pool will no longer retain duplicate or retired numbers
• Occasional disconnects that could occur in Play With Friends Quick Play during initial matchmaking or when using custom rosters have been resolved
• The Crypto.com arena name has been added to the jumbotron for the LA Lakers, LA Clippers, and LA Sparks

GAMEPLAY
• Fixed a problem with certain standing layups that would cause them to fade away from the rim instead of towards it
• Addressed an issue where the user could momentarily lose control while defensive shading
• The Dream Shake badge will now lessen the penalty when chaining multiple fakes together
• The "Run" game plan series will now work correctly using On-the-Fly Coaching
• Certain post animations that were not playing as intended have now been properly enabled
• Shot fakes that could force the player to go out of bounds unintentionally will no longer do so
• CPU players no longer use layup timing, as they were unrealistically proficient with it
• The free-throw difficulty slider will now function correctly
• Fixed some problems with controllable rim hangs that were causing players to vault into the air unexpectedly
• Air balls will no longer occur when shot timing is slightly early, slightly late, or better
• Shot timing will now work correctly for hook shots when playing online games
• The frequency of contact dunks on lower difficulty levels has been increased
• Made shots will now have more ball-rim physics interaction variation rather than always swishing
• Fixed Favorite Plays not showing up in many modes for On-the-Fly Coaching
• Resolved a rare hang that could occur during certain inbounds plays
• Various Michael Jordan signature animations have been updated
• Added new facial expressions to several animations

JORDAN CHALLENGE
• The Restricted Area line will now properly appear on the court in the “Pass the Torch” game
• The paint design has been updated to be accurate to real life in the “Bad Boys” game

CITY/PRO-AM/REC/THEATER
• Many improvements to performance and stability have been made to enhance the overall experience in the City
• The Court Status overlay is now available when standing on a Got Next spot in the City
• Reduced the delay in exiting a court after winning a game in the City
• The remaining player in head-to-head games will now be awarded a win if all other players have left
• Games played in the Theater will now properly count towards the user’s skill level progression
• Various fixes and improvements have been made to private matchmaking and squads, including when entering the Event Center
• Several changes related to invites have been made to increase stability and better streamline the experience
• Various updates have been made to games on the district courts in the City to improve the experience and ensure intended progression
• Fixed an issue that could cause some weekly quests to expire early
• Addressed various issues with the stat overlays in Pro-Am games to improve their accuracy
• Fixed a rare issue that could cause players to be invisible when entering Ante-Up
• Resolved an issue with adrenaline boosts occasionally displaying the incorrect number remaining
• Resolved an issue that was causing the shot meter to be invisible when shooting in Brickley’s Gym
• Individual tattoos can now be properly removed when there is more than one on a particular body part

MyCAREER/QUESTS/PROGRESSION
• Multiple fixes and adjustments have been made to improve the overall quest experience and ensure proper progression throughout the mode
• Core MyPLAYER progression speed has been slightly increased
• Fixed an issue that was preventing certain Tier 3 badges from being cored
• Fixed a rare issue that could cause certain equipped animations to reset to default
• Several changes have been made to improve photo quests, particularly ones using the tripod
• Badge progression will now work correctly when playing games on the district courts in the City
• Resolved an issue that was preventing certain users from continuing after playing one of the games at Dreamer Park in the It’s a Cole World questline
• Fixed an issue with certain Coach Graves quests where he wouldn’t be present in the locker room and the user would be unable to progress
• Made additional updates to the Palace Intrigue quest to help users stuck on certain objectives
• Resolved a rare issue that could cause saves to be blocked on load due to not being able to enter the arena
• Fixed a rare issue that prevented certain NPCs from being present when attempting to do selfie quests with them
• Resolved an issue where users could get stuck with the inline skates equipped after a time trial, which could prevent them from completing quests requiring other vehicles
• Resolved an issue that could cause season-specific Stat Quests to progress incorrectly
• Relaxed some requirements on City stat quests so that they can be more easily completed with any build type
• Addressed an issue with a handful of daily and weekly quests that could cause them to not have a title/description in the display
• Quests requiring personal brand increases in non-NBA games will now be accurately tracked
• The rewards for the Chris Brickley quests are now correctly displayed

MyTEAM
• Various improvements and updates have been made to all modes and many menus throughout MyTEAM
• An anti-competitive check for idle players has been added to Multiplayer modes in MyTEAM
• Added the option to turn off visual Era filters in Single Player modes from the pause menu. Era filters will not appear in Limited games.
• High level Coach Cards will now give appropriate boost amounts (Pink Diamond Jerry West now gives +6 to attributes!)
• Updated the Wheel Spin to make the location of featured prize slots less confusing
• Players will no longer receive losses on their menu records when their opponent quits
• Cards and configurations in Triple Threat Online: Co-Op will now be saved after games are played
• Addressed a rare hang that could occur when quitting Triple Threat Online: Co-Op games
• Fixed an issue where the adaptive coaching engine (ACE) was reset to default settings in multiplayer games
• Added a 'Trophy Case' category to The Exchange
• Addressed an issue that prevented the "Level Up" Trophy/Achievement from unlocking in MyTEAM
• Replacing badges on a Player Card from the Edit Player menu will now work correctly
• Playbooks will now save as expected in the Coaching tab of Edit Lineups

MyNBA/THE W
• Various stability fixes and improvements have been made for MyNBA, MyNBA Online, and The W
• Imported Player DNA players will now be properly classified as rookies
• Modern and created players imported into MyNBA Eras rosters will now be given the correct age
• The rookie salary scale will no longer inflate to unrealistic levels over time when starting in the Magic/Bird era of MyNBA
• Trade exceptions will now be calculated correctly when only a portion of it is used
• Oklahoma City crowd signs will no longer appear in the Sonics 1990s era arena
• The color of the shorts for the Los Angeles Clippers 2013 uniforms has been corrected
• Fixed a rare issue that could cause players to have $0 contracts or incorrect contract lengths
• Expansion teams in MyNBA will now have appropriate attendance effects and commentary support
• Addressed some issues that could occur when an expansion team drafts a player from another team on a non-core contract and then puts them on their core roster
• The Kobe era will now use the correct rules in the 4th quarter of the All-Star game
• Resolved a rare hang in the offseason when playing in a league with 36 total teams and a small amount of playoff teams
• Fixed a hang that could occur when bringing up a player card on the roster menu during the offseason in MyNBA Online
• Male NBA prospects will no longer appear when using custom draft classes in MyWNBA
• A new court floor has been added for The W Online and The W contact workout games
• The Team Chemistry pillar in The W will no longer stop at Level 6
• Fixed a rare hang that could occur in The W after editing team branding

• Fixed an issue where players could not re-enter The Bridge after an event ended
• In The Galleon and MyCOURT, players will now walk full out of bounds before being passed the ball (no more errant turnovers)
• For REC, changed the AI spawn time in a Rec lobby from 90 seconds to 10 minutes
• Toned down the idling sound for the hoverbike
• Resolved an issue where Season XP animated slowly during the end game recap
• Fixed an issue where the endorsement popup in the recap screen had no background making it difficult to read
• Fixed an issue where the Daily Prize UI would overlap the Birds Eye overlays
• Resolved a MyCOURT hang that could occur when a guest starts a shootaround at the same time the host starts a drill
  
JORDAN CHALLENGE
• Fixed an issue where the 0 would not display when the game clock was greater than 10 minutes
• Game scores should now properly be reflected on the jumbotron in Jordan Challenge games
• Updated the end of game Goal Progress overlay to better distinguish from previously completed goals and goals completed within the current game
• The Challenge Progress overlay should now properly display as the user approaches the goal in "Start of a Dynasty"
• Challenge Stars should no longer flicker when user scrolls through the game list

MyTEAM

• The additional blue three-point line on the Cleveland Cavaliers court in "The Shot" and "69 Points" games has been added
 
CITY/PRO-AM/REC/THEATER
• Continued improvements to performance and stability have been made to enhance the overall experience in the City
• Resolved some issues with Daily Pick ‘Em to ensure results appear correctly and rewards are given when earned
• Various visual improvements and updates have been made to Pro-Am and Event related menus
• Fixed a rare disconnect that could occur during the intro of some City and Ante-Up games
• Squad invite notifications will now correctly appear when received
• Players in a squad will now properly leave Pro-Am Walk-On together
• Addressed an issue that could prevent VC rewards from being received in certain Theater events
• The player matchup overlay will now appear as expected during Rec game intros
• Foam fingers will now properly appear in the City when equipped
 
MyCAREER/QUESTS/PROGRESSION
• Continued fixes and adjustments have been made to improve the overall quest experience and ensure proper progression throughout the mode
• Resolved a hang that could occur when attempting to enter the 2K Beats menu after recording a new custom track
• Addressed an issue that caused certain seasonal quests to not track correctly between saves
• Made some adjustments to improve tracking for vehicle related quests
• Fixed a rare timing conflict that could prevent progression on certain J. Cole music quests
• The quests to create custom music tracks with Bas and Elite should now move forward correctly
• Various updates and improvements have been made to the Leadership feature
• Resolved an issue with endorsements to ensure proper progression as contracts are completed
• The Marketability and Fans values on the Personal Brand menu will now update correctly
• Fixed an issue with certain drills in Brickley’s Gym that could cause long hangs during dead balls
• Addressed an issue with the XP progress bar that could incorrectly reflect current progress

MyTEAM
• Various improvements and updates have been made to all modes and many menus throughout MyTEAM
• Due to anti-competitive trends impacting the experience of Unlimited players, Position Lock has been disabled in Unlimited, GameDay, and Tournament modes. Position Lock is still available in MyTEAM’s other multiplayer modes
• New visuals for Ascension and Draft Modes have been added
• In Triple Threat Online: Co-Op, the camera will now properly focus on the controlled player and keep them on screen
• Adjusted the 2K Cam in all Triple Threat modes to keep the three-point arc in view when the ball is under the basket
• Fixed an issue between active times of Limited Time Events where the event bonuses were incorrectly displayed
• In the Evolution menu, all badges will now display in the upgrades list
• You are now able to replace badges on player cards without needing the higher tier version of the badge
• Addressed some issues that could occur when alternate custom uniform cards are used in the away uniform slot
• Fixed an issue with the Agenda Tracker not properly displaying progress for some agendas
• Resolved a rare hang that could occur in the Exhibitions menu
• Added the ability to view rewards for other tiers in the Clutch Time menus

• Preparations for the $250,000 MyTEAM Unlimited Tournament elimination rounds on March 4th & 5th, as well as the Finals on March 18th
• The color for Diamond cards and assets has been updated to make it more visually distinct from Galaxy Opal cards
• Additional minor updates to menus and modes throughout MyTEAM

In NBA 2K24, the Seasonal progression track will now combine MyTEAM and MyCAREER into one linear rewards system. You can earn a FREE reward from both modes each time you reach a new level in NBA 2K24.

With this new change, we are introducing Season Passes to NBA 2K24 Seasons. By purchasing one of the Premium Season Passes, you will earn even more rewards on your way to Level 40. There are still 80 rewards across MyCAREER and MyTEAM in each Season that are earnable for free. Purchasing a Season Pass unlocks 44 additional premium rewards - 40 rewards earned through gameplay and 4 rewards automatically applied to your NBA 2K account.

Developer Note: We are working quickly to resolve the most user-impacting issues being reported. Feedback from the community has been quick and clear; we thank you. The patch we will release prior to the launch of Season 2 will contain a much broader set of fixes and improvements spanning the entire game.

GAMEPLAY
• Fixed an issue that was causing physics to break when using controllable rim hangs in certain situations

THE CITY
• Numerous fixes to game stability in the City have been made
• Resolved a user-reported stutter when playing games on the RISE affiliation courts
• You can now properly join a friend in the Gatorade Rental Courts when using the Social Menu

MyCAREER/QUESTS/PROGRESSION
• Adjusted the Minimizer quest so it is easier for all player types to complete
• Fixed a rare issue that could cause a hang when loading into a MyCAREER save
• Addressed an issue that could prevent advancement to the second NBA season
• Resolved a hang when heading to the arena floor before NBA games
• Michael Jordan can no longer be passed on the GOAT tier list before winning your 7th championship
• Users can no longer apply the same Floor Setter to more than one badge.

MyTEAM
• Resolved user-reported issues with games played after playing Triple Threat Online: Co-Op games
• Lowered the difficulty of Triple Threat Online: Co-Op games against the CPU to Pro
• Added the ability to select a lineup before entering Triple Threat Online: Co-Op

MyNBA
• Resolved a hang that could occur in the Trade Finder menu when exiting and re-entering under certain conditions
• Fixed an issue that could cause the Warriors to get rebranded incorrectly going into future seasons in MyNBA

MyCAREER / QUESTS / RIVALS
• On Court accessories should now properly display in Away games in MyCAREER.
• Fixed an issue where players would receive an error code when attempting to complete quests in the "Tour De Force" quest line. Players should now be able to receive the rewards correctly.
• The Celtics Hardwood banner rewarded from the '64-'65 Boston Celtics Rivals match will now display correctly.
• Fixed an issue where quest bars would incorrectly show the same progress when scrolling through the quest menu.

MyTEAM
• Fixed a crash that could occur when transitioning from the Compare Player screen to flipping the coach card.
• Player images should now be seen on the Clutch Time and the Clutch Time Online home screens after winning a Clutch Time Online game.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
• Adjusted the Season XP post-game reward to properly adjust with Teammate Grade.
• Fixed a rare issue where a player could become stuck in 1v1 Ante-Up games.
• Fixed a rare crash that could occur when exiting the MyTEAM theater in the Galleria.
• Several improvements in players' appearances in the Neighborhood when viewed at a distance.

CLOTHING
• Blazers should now appear when equipped.
• Resolved an issue where multiple NBA and WNBA jerseys would appear as brown shirts when viewed/equipped.
• Fixed an issue that could cause a player's torso to appear invisible when equipping a short-sleeved compression shirt with a jacket.
• Fixed an issue where undershirts could appear as brown shirts to other players.
• The waist and neck submenus now display correctly in the clothing menu.

• Resolved an issue where the introduction overlay would not disappear if the user paused the game during the introduction.

Developer Note: We are continuing to work towards resolving the most user-impacting issues being reported. The team is currently working on an all-encompassing patch that will be releasing in early-mid October. That patch will contain fixes and improvements spanning the entire game, including a number of community-reported items that required a longer internal testing runway.

GAMEPLAY
• Tightened up perimeter defensive coverage checks to reduce "ghost contests"
• Increased the make window size of open meter dunks

CITY/PRO-AM/REC/THEATER
• A number of fixes to overall game stability while in the City have been made to improve user experience
• Resolved an issue at the end of Rec games that would send the user to the game’s main menu following a black screen
• Functionality and stability improvements have been made to the Social Menu as we work to provide a more seamless experience

MyCAREER/QUESTS/PROGRESSION
• The RISE-specific Heat Check Booster has been adjusted to activate after 3 made shots in a row rather than 5
• Fixed a user-reported issue that caused an indefinite hang when attempting to load a MyCAREER save
• Resolved a rare issue preventing rewards from being received upon the completion of some quests, including Rebirth and certain Badge Perks
• Closed a loophole that could cause issues getting through the offseason when attending practice after the final game of the NBA season
• Made some adjustments to ensure that Flashback games can be played at any time during the NBA season

GAMEPLAY
• Standing Meter Dunks will now properly use the Standing Dunk rating instead of Driving Dunk to determine the green window size
• Dunk meter logic has been updated to make the window size better reflect dunk difficulty
• Fixed an issue in the on-ball steal system that forced the ball to yo-yo back to the previous ball hand midway through a crossover or behind back move
• Improved foot planting to reduce unwanted out of bounds violations when shooting near the sidelines
• When blockers jump early and land on ball handlers or shooters, fouls will now be called 100% of the time
• Better shot coverage detection for OPEN vs. WIDE OPEN
• Slight buff to close shots, wide open jump shots, and Limitless Range badge
• Fixed an exploit that allowed players to double dribble by alley-oop/fake passing to no one in 1v1 games
• Removed pass interceptions on Right Stick UP as it was being abused for easy steals with no risk
• Updated Adrenaline system to account for successfully stopping post moves and no longer consume boosts when driving directly toward the rim
• Fixed a minor aesthetic issue with Klay Thompson’s jump shot
• Addressed a rare issue in which the ball can get stuck on the stanchion
• Changed the Heat Check and Recharge player indicator icons to only display when relevant
• Limited the distance from which rebounds can branch to putbacks
• Fixed an issue that was causing putbacks and mid-air jelly layups to be classified as covered even when no defenders were nearby
• Improved the responsiveness of stopping when setting a screen
• Updated "griefing" logic to differentiate good vs. bad full court shots and also account for players with high grades
• Fixed "Excessive Violations Committed" event from firing off multiple times incorrectly, "Good Defensive Possession" incorrectly firing on free throws, "Lazy Defense" now includes camping out of bounds, and improved "Bad Timeout" logic for Teammate Grade
• Addressed a rare issue preventing players from being able to break out of a certain pass animation

GENERAL
• Preparations for NBA 2K24 Season 2, launching on Friday, October 20th, at 8AM PT/11AM ET/4PM BST. Stay tuned for what we have in store!

• Players replaced with the Player DNA feature will no longer revert to the original player when an age likeness update occurs
• The proper standings rules will now be used when starting a save in the LeBron Era in MyNBA
• The G League can now be disabled when starting in the LeBron and Kobe Eras in MyNBA

There have been NO changes made to shooting in NBA 2K24 since the ones made at the start of Season 2. In case you missed it, those changes were:

Slight buff to close shots, wide open jump shots, and the Limitless Range badge.
Removed shot timing variability due to defensive pressure (aka. Load up and Speed ups).

• Fixed an issue that prevented some Evolved or shoe/badge boosted Player Cards from receiving those boosts in Triple Threat Online: Co-Op games
• The Triple Threat Online: Co-Op score overlay will no longer swap scores at the end of a game
• Adjustments have been made to the audio for crowd reactions in Triple Threat modes
• When using the Exchange from the Duplicates or My Collection menu, a delay has been added when using the “Short Press and Hold” setting to avoid accidental exchanges
• Addressed a conflict between Coach Boosts and Dynamic Duos in certain gameplay situations
• Added support for additional card types like Coach Cards as Collection Rewards in the Player Market

MyCAREER EVENT UPDATE

We have identified certain players in recent NBA 2K24 MyCAREER events who purposefully manipulated event progression for their own gain, resulting in an unfair experience for other players.

As a result, actions have been taken against these players which include disqualification from the event, temporary account bans, permanent account bans, device bans, and/or REP progression resets. We are looking into additional steps to prevent this type of behavior for future MyCAREER events. In addition, the new Top 6 players for Season 4 Rumble on the Cay events will receive the appropriate rewards.

If you believe you have been incorrectly banned, please open a ticket with 2K Support for further assistance.

SEASON 1 WINNERS

REP bonuses are actively being applied to eligible RISE players (must have contributed to RISE vs. ELITE affiliation event competitions in Season 1 -- Basketball Godz, Blackout, or Strikeout).

All eligible players receive the same amount of bonus REP but keep in mind the amount your progression bar increases may vary depending on how high your REP tier is.

GAMEPLAY UPDATE

This morning, the Gameplay team released a hotfix update for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC that made a slight buff to the interior and perimeter contest system based on community feedback and game telemetry data. Please return to the Main Menu to ensure you have the latest updates.

We will continue to monitor feedback and analyze shooting statistics over the next several days and make additional tweaks as necessary to fine-tune the balance.

A new patch update for NBA 2K25 MyTEAM Mobile has been released for iOS and Android. Once you have installed this update, your app icon will change to the Season 3 artwork, featuring Vince Carter.

• Added support for NBA Cup courts.
• Fixed an alignment issue with the court floor and lines in Breakout Full Lineup games.
• Added support for additional Season 3 content.
• Improved overall performance and stability, including fixes for various crashes.

AFFILIATION RIVALRY

The RISE vs. ELITE seasonal competition is determined by the win percentage of games played by members of each affiliation during rivalry events. Matchmaking in these events does not typically consider a player’s affiliation, allowing each affiliation’s win percentage to reflect performance across a neutral pool of opponents and minimize any potential advantage from either affiliation having more members. Games played outside of rivalry events do not contribute towards the competition.

At the end of the season, the affiliation with the higher win percentage is crowned the champion. Players in the winning affiliation who contributed by playing at least one game in a rivalry event that season receive a REP bonus and access to an exclusive 2XREP event in the following season.

Note: We plan to update the RISE vs. ELITE billboard in an upcoming patch to display the tenths place in the win percentages, making it easier to see which affiliation is leading during close competitions.

Starting in Season 6, some Event Center events will have the Shot Meter turned off for all players, regardless of individual controller settings. This adjustment is intended to maintain a consistent competitive experience, similar to gameplay in Proving Grounds and Pro-Am.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the first King of the Court, presented by AT&T.

We saw that matchmaking took longer than expected in some cases and have made adjustments to significantly improve wait times.

We'll continue to closely monitor the matchmaking system and make further refinements throughout the year to ensure both a smooth and competitive experience.

GAMEPLAY UPDATE

We will be releasing an update that makes the following improvements to contest coverages, based on gameplay data and community feedback:

• Slightly reduced the impact of height mismatches on contest coverage. Shorter defenders can now generate slightly stronger contests against taller shooters.

• Slightly increased the effectiveness of strong contests. Well-positioned and well-timed contests will further narrow the shooter's green window more than before.

No changes have been made to shooting difficulty, shooting mechanics, or any other gameplay systems. We will continue to monitor games across various modes and skill levels.

GAMEPLAY UPDATE

[Patch Update 2.0](#game-updates message) reintroduced the ability to delay your shot release with Rhythm Shooting by flicking UP late or slowly, similar to how it worked at launch. This was intended to make Rhythm Shot inputs register more consistently.

However, based on community feedback that this change causes a slight "hitch" to Rhythm Shots, we're reverting the adjustment to restore smoother, more responsive shooting.

This update will be applied automatically around <t:1760518800:F> (shown in your device's time zone) on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. No download is required, simply return to the Main Menu to make sure you have the latest version.

FAIR PLAY

Today, we took action against players who manipulated the Top REP race in The City.

REP progress gained through account sharing has been removed. Sharing accounts to gain an unfair advantage or undermine competitive integrity is prohibited. Note: Future violations may result in stronger penalties without prior notice.

Players who exploited a 2XREP multiplier to accelerate their progress in the Top REP race have been temporarily banned, and any REP progress gained through this exploit has been removed.

In a small number of cases, REP progress was fully reset for players who engaged in both account sharing and exploit abuse.

These actions are part of our ongoing efforts to detect and minimize unfair play. Future violations may result in additional penalties, including temporary or permanent account bans, device bans, or full REP resets.

THE CITY

VC earnings for Pro-Am 3v3 games were previously being calculated as if they were Pro-Am 5v5 games, and this has now been corrected. No changes have been made to VC earned in Pro-Am 5v5 or any other game modes.

Separately, we have identified [a visual issue](#📝issues-tracker message) in The REC where the post-game Recap may display a lower VC total than expected. This only affects the VC amount displayed. The correct amount is still being added to your account. You can confirm this by checking your VC balance before and after completing a game in The REC. This visual issue will be resolved in an upcoming update.

PATCH NOTES v5.1

TLDR: This update adds new protections against network manipulation, including "lag switching". Please fully relaunch the game to ensure the latest changes are applied.

Protecting fair play and competitive integrity is a core priority for NBA 2K. We know how frustrating it is when games are disrupted by players who choose to cheat, and we've been actively monitoring emerging exploits.

Update 5.1 on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S adds new protections against network manipulation, including measures designed to combat intentional "lag switching" tactics used to gain an unfair advantage. These protections apply across online multiplayer modes such as Park, The Theater, and The REC.

This update is now available and includes a required patch download and additional live updates. Please fully close and relaunch the game to ensure the latest changes are applied.

Anti-cheat efforts are ongoing as behaviors evolve. We’ll continue testing and evaluating additional protections focused on reducing the most impactful forms of cheating, and we’re committed to the long-term work of keeping competition fair for players who respect the game.
