I think the neutral's win takes priority, though the only roles that can do that are the dodo and the pigeon. I know dodo for sure steals the win and I am semi-certain for pigeon.

If a vulture were to somehow eat the last body they need at the same time that a duck/armed goose kills the last enemy they need to kill, it would come down to whomever has the better internet connection

Falcon and pelican can't run into this situation, given that they block both side's main method of winning.

Crow would be the same situation as the pigeon, more than likely

As the game (I think) detects that the last uncorrupted player is ejected from meeting, and makes the crow transform (though some of their time will be spent waiting for the voted out screen to end so they will have less time to do crow stuff.)

I think there is a hierarchy of wins with everything having an established priority, so when multiple conditions are met at the same time the highest priority condition wins.

I'm reasonably certain that Dodo has the highest priority and Lovers is second, but don't quote me on any of that.

It feels like the same people have been getting the same roles over and over, how come it isn't random?

Role selection is completely random. The human mind is conditioned to latch onto patterns, what could appear to be a pattern is more than likely your psyche piecing together coincidences and then placing them into a consistent timeline. You may be interpreting it in this way. There are many different roles, but can be classified into categories of goose, neutral, and duck. Say you've noticed that a player has been getting a duck role a couple of games in a row, you've now concluded a pattern in which that player seems to be always getting a duck role, but you may have forgotten that they had a goose role in between, because it does not relate to the pattern you have noticed.

As games can go by pretty quickly, we also have a sense of losing the concept of time. We may also conclude that it has been a coincidence more adamantly, over a period of time, when in reality, it was something that you had noticed being a common factor. Role randomization is in fact, working correctly. Best of luck in your rounds and have fun playing GGD!

I kind of disagree. It depends on the player behind it. A sheriff who random shoots, sure. But a Sheriff who pays attention to what is going on and can sus someone out has an edge. Sometimes you get in a situation where you just know someone is coming to kill you. And sometimes you can do my funny Basement trick where you just camp near the pit and wait to shoot anyone who comes by to activate the duck sab there.

There's a few different ways to die, depending on the map. On jungle temple, you can die by getting crushed by a boulder, or by falling off a bridge. In the mansion, you can die by being crushed by a chandelier. On the Desert Sands map, you can die by a Mummy attacking you... There's a few others, but basically, if it's a duck sabotage that instant kills, the adventurer is immune.

Last I knew, these should be safe kills, but I don't often play on maps with disposal areas so I don't know for certain.

An hour-ish ago, I murdered a guy, and they flew into the furnace, but it counted as a Canadian kill. It was a bad time.

I would ask if this is a bug, because the logic goes that if there is no body to report, canadian will not auto report. It is why if you kill canadian and the cannibal or vulture eats them right after, no report will happen.

The exception being with the pelican, of course.

Killing in a Disposal area gets rid of the body, so I would think there should be no report.

So for Goose Goose Duck, I get how how the goose and ducks got on (the goose built the ship and the ducks want to crash their operation) and in #lore it was confirmed that the dodo bird just took a wrong turn on a tour and accidentally boarded the ship and he/she thinks they’re just voting on a captain so basically he/has has no idea what’s going on but how did the following neutrals get in Pelican, vulture, pigeon, dueling dodo, and falcon and what were their intentions (here are my ideas on why they boarded on the ship dueling dodo is trying to fight the competition and who is also trying to be the captain falcon and pelican. Just want the ship for themselves, and vulture is just hungry)

Not really. You can apply it in a similar way, but that doesn't mean Stalker and Astral are the same

Astral for one is way risker - you're completely blind and deaf where you are when your spirit is elsewhere. Stalker is more mobile, cannot witness exactly what happens to people they stalk, and so on. They also can not confirm themselves as ironclad as Astral can by overhearing conversation far away from themselves.

Birdwatcher also has increased vision range, Astral does not. Birdwatcher can see colours/names through walls, Astral cannot.

And finally, - again, astral and birdwatcher / stalker having any degree of overlap, if anything, proves my point that there's no real argument against Medium existing alongside a new role that can detect the length of time a body has been dead for.

I also think it would be a separate role, unlike Engineer's combined roles, as knowing the length of time a body has been dead for is distinctly different piece of info than knowing at long range how many have died every 15 seconds.

Medium will know long before a Butcher does that "someone" died, the Butcher will know exactly how old any particular body has died, and Mortician knows exactly who died. And Detective can investigate who used a murder button that round.
All roles concerning different aspects of one murder.

I politely disagree - knowing the exact time of death of any given body you come across is more useful than I think you give it credit for. But that's okay, we're allowed to have different opinions about that.

Medium missing out on one aspect: they can't tell how old a body is, if more than one person died, unless they've been map scouting and there wasn't a body here before (and it wasn't dragged by undertaker)

The butcher always is able to know exact length of time, which also btw, is very strong for knowing the distance of how far away one can run from a body, if you have folks that know where each other is

when i'm the owl in the manor, the sniper hid on the library upper floor (right in the corner) so they would know if someone went up there it was the owl trying to pickpocket
