I look at it this way: you're getting some content for free, for playing. On average, I'd say without purposely aiming to farm to max tokens on them, you can get 3-4 items from those 9 days, if you happen to be playing a bit during them. Some people with more time will get more, some (like me) with less will get less, and if you want more - those with money to spend on leisure things, can purchase more.
I wouldn't look at it like those items are just expected to be yours. It's more of a mindset thing?

ID Thief has one major advantage over Morphling, I'll give you a moment to think before revealing it, and I don't mean the unlimited morph, I consider that a disadvantage.

Yeah the unlimited part is bad because you can't validate you're anywhere else, unlike Drone, and you're stuck morphed until a body is called xD You also can't pin blame anywhere since the ones doing it are dead and you morph soon as you do it. You also can't do a first kill blindly because any morphs should be dead.

They both benefit in allowing you to freely kill with witnesses.

Hmmm... is it the fact you can hide amongst a bunch of other people without worrying about the timer running out? I don't think so, since you can't talk(and I always do proxy voice chat lobbies)...

Was useful knowing exactly when the shuttle was in use by noting when I lag, but that is cheesy and I avoided using that i fo when I could.

On the Lounge map (Hanging Out mode) go to the top right and there is an arcade with claw machines

If you have some unlocked, and you aren't playing in Eagleton, this can be set in the collections (Eagleton has them all unlocked by default, but they are randomised), either from the main menu (will only work if the one you select is available on the map theme you play) or from the closet/wardrobe in the lobby

The animation that plays will be what other players that you kill see. When you die, you will see whatever they have unlocked and set as their animation that plays

Call me crazy but I kind of like the idea of the Astral being able to project, and not leave their body behind. They just vanish. And then when coming out of astral form, they appear back in the map where their astral form is, or the nearest valid place for them to exist.

Of course this would run a gauntlet of a whole host of issues of using astral to get outside the map or into inaccessible areas. I just like the idea of the astral being able to use their ability to move around the map

Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a game, but we do provide in-game tools to help moderate your lobbies. Conversations that go on in-game are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. Public lobbies have report features that will be attached to their accounts and may result in bans. The relevant players can also be kicked from the lobbies by the host and will not be able to rejoin unless permitted to by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.

I had this idea of being able to see Footprints, like a trail, then quickly realized that would just be used to deduce who killed bodies or venting, regardless if it's a radius, only one person, or something else.

1, they don't last long. this means you have to be there very shortly after the kill AND have to somehow catch up with the killer before someone else calls the body and/or accuses you of running from it.

2: The footprints don't expire. Which does you not much good when you find a body and about 7 sets of footprints around it.

So, fun fact. About a year ago there was talk about making "variant" versions of existing roles. So, there can only ever be one Detective, but there was an idea for there to be different versions of the Detective with each having a different ability.

I once mused on an idea about a Mad Scientist duck who, once per game, could stand on a corpse for 3 seconds, and then the corpse raises as a zombie which basically acts like the Ancient Sands mummy, except it will not kill ducks and always targets the nearest non-duck. The double edged sword of that mummy is since it won't harm ducks, it could inadvertently out a duck when people see it's not going after or killing someone. BUT, if used correctly, it could be devistatingly powerful. Imagine triggering the lights sab, letting a small group of like 3 eople show up, killing the 4th who comes by, and raising them. Then the zombie just walks to the lights sab, which in the case of Mother Goose is a dead end, and just kills multiple people while they are trying to fix lights.

while that sounds really cool on the surface, the fact that it could potentially wipe most of a lobby in one go in the right situation miiiiiiiiight break the game a bit

It's also possible as the dodo to pretend to be the vulture and lead people to bodies, did that one game, by pure luck stumbled across six bodies while "leading" a few players to it.
Sadly, they believed me too well and since I wasn't eating the corpses, they didn't vote me out 😦

There's only a few roles that can actually prove themself, most of the time requiring a duck to do the actual confirming (example, dropping a chandelier on the adventurer) or something detrimental to the geese (sheriff shooting another goose), all the rest still have doubt about whether they are or are not the role they claim.

The only other real exception is when playing classic or draft with no random ducks / neutrals and no ducks that can vent are selected and no pigeon is selected, in that situation the engineer is 200% clear just by venting, but that situation is rare and players rarely pay enough attention to notice the situation.

Pigeon does yeah, I'm not sure the Demolitionist is that great at countering grouping though, because it only kills 1 person, can completely backfire, and is very slow to kill.

Also it immediately narrows down who the Demo could be to that individual group, which puts you on a short timer for who could have done it. And then you're kinda stuck passing bombs a different way, as people are unlikely to stick in a group the same way.
So sure, maybe they're not grouping, but the Demo has difficulty killing non-ducks with consistency.

Tbh the Demo duck, while it can be "fun", I don't think is a very effective role (more for fun, like Party duck) due to the chance of backfiring, and therefore it's effectiveness at countering anything is limited.

Which is why I like classic more than draft, some roles are fun, some are more useful. I like to try to balance that depending on how games are playing out.

Having a demo and Esper isn't very good for the ducks, for example

Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a game, but we do provide in-game tools to help moderate your lobbies. Conversations that go on in-game are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. Public lobbies have report features that will be attached to their accounts and may result in bans. The relevant players can also be kicked from the lobbies by the host and will not be able to rejoin unless permitted to by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.

You tag a player first, then you tag a second one.

A timer will begin on both players as soon you tag the second one, if one of the players is found, timer will end and they'll not be forced to be lovers.

If the timer ends and no one has been slapped, both are bonded for the rest of the game.

And if someone of those two are killed, both die.

The Cupid Duck doesn't turn anyone into lovers, specifically. Rather what it does is gives players a link, similar to that of lovers.

The Cupid duck ties together two players, but this isn't limited to only two players. If they tied someone else to one of those lovers, and that person gets killed, then all three will die.
