We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

Playing in the real ancient sands with genuine sandstorms

I can apparently do... Something with Left shift in ancient sands, which looks like the duck ability... I can't seem to figure out what it is.

It looks a lot like a goose attempting to perform a vanishing act.

That's a toggle ability. Toggling it on allows you to pass through the foggy areas in the map. This mechanic is also present in Jungle Temple. The only roles that can fog are Ducks (except for roles like prof that can't "vent"), pigeon, and mimic.

Nonono, there are areas in ancient sands and jungle temple that are covered in fog. Only the roles listed above are able to enter.

Never been the duck in any of these maps, so I know nothing about those abilities other than venting / hiding.

Yea, fogging is basically the venting/hiding of sands and temple. If you go to #📁︱templates-resources to see the maps, the orange-brown areas in the ancient sands map are fogged, and the red areas for temple are fogged

In ancient sands, in the fogged area in the pyramid, there is a magic mirror that allows you to look around the map. Kind of like the mothergoose caneras but only for ducks.

And the pigeon and mimic, too.

Also, there is no treasure under the loose tiles in the staging room in the temple.

There are multiple spots in the area it could be in. That's why the mini map dot for that task is so large.

If you don't find it, check somewhere else nearby

I wouldn’t necessarily say Cannibal, or any duck role is the worst. There are just very different strategies and techniques to play them effectively.

If anything, it should be Lover duck due to their disadvantages from being connected to a goose. But even so, they have multiple ways of winning and can use that to devise a plan. Whether that would be to betray their own for the love of their life, or win traditionally.

Question: if you have 2 Ducks for a lobby, and say... the Spy role enabled and Lovers enabled, will the second Duck always be a Lover with a Goose, or is who the Lover role picks random irrelevant of other roles, and therefore you may end up with a vanilla duck?

And with that said, if you have 2 Ducks, and you have Morphling, Spy, and Lovers enabled, will the Duck ever be a Lover randomly, or will the Spy/Morphling always prioritize over giving the Duck a Lover role?

When this happens, usually after a minute or so it will close on its own, or you can force close it. The team is investigating the issue.

23.5 hours after you got your first token, unless that has changed, is when they reset

on the main screen, as rognik said, there should be a token at the top left you can click to see when the timer will reset
