Well, that's not true. Someone posted some free games in #🎮│other-games some days ago and I got myself a stardew alike farming game where you can play as fantasy creatures so there's that.

My wishlist count is currently on ~700 games, but I tend to wishlist games where I don't want to forget they're still there or when they get released.

Seeing as your last post was in the first week ... there are tons of updates that you may or may not have seen. Weekly image drops in #🌠│official-art and monthly Q & A sessions in #❓│old-team-answers-alpha. Alpha is expected in the first half of this year but no details as to how many more people will get invites nor when it will start at the moment. But I suspect similar to the the Pre Alpha posts we will get some sort of notice before the invites are sent out to let us know when they will start. Only those in the alpha will no specifics on when the actual testing will start though I would imagine.

The anticipation for this game is making me play other MMORPG's in a non-hostile way. Like if I can avoid combat, I do. Which is a feat that I've been playing Sea of Thieves lately and managed to not ONCE have a negative opposing player interaction. They sail up, I offer to give them food, equipment, etc. Get told I'm too nice, and they sail off, and I'm left with my ship intact and left to spend the next 4 hours fishing.

I can't play Palia yet, so I bring the idea of it to other games...

I've always done that ... fighting has always been for food and clothing .. and the boring fetch quests seeing as my healer couldn't do healing quests I did try suggesting it but oh well

My go to now for getting into groups is 'I have a stupid amount of food, want buffs?'

'Your armour looks a little under level, let me fix that for you.'

I used to run around on my priest randomly healing people .. its amazing how many times they were surprised at it

Yeah, walk into a dungeon, someone's fighting the boss, heal them so they can kill it. "Here's a meal and a drink, you look to thin, you need some meat on your bones." Throws people off EVERY time. But yeah, it's wierd in games where you can heal, people ONLY heal their party members. Your Magicka/Mana/Spellpoints/Energy/Etc come back over time, help your neighbours, give a heal, get a compliment.

Even if it's just a weird double crouch, it counts.

Unfortunately for Palia, I'm going to burn all my food, so unless there's another way to run support, I'm just going to be ... annoyingly trying to hand out burnt food acting like it's perfectly fine.

I wonder if golems are all of a generic size range. Be cool if you could have knee-high golems. Or golems a few stories tall. Imagine if their was a golem whose body was long destroyed so all that remains is a head, but the golem was large enough that his head is actually a building. You walk in and instead of talking to a proprieter you talk to the golem head you're inside.

hi Todd .. They had pre-alpha test invites go out in July last year and the conclusion announced in September. The next one is scheduled for the first half of this year but no idea as to when yet. We are waiting for that announcement.

so far all we know about the release is, that it'll come out somewhere in less than 2 and a half years, while the closed alpha will most likely start in the first half of this year (but will probably still be all under the nda, so I don't think it would be possible to stream it yet)

Hmmm this quarter a release date is unlikely unfortunately, we are still very early in the game's dev cycle

And playtests are still under NDA for the time being, even if you get selected to particiapte in the alpha playtest

Yeah I had to deal with NDA stuff back when I beta tested the original Kinect, I didn't realise the game was at such an early stage, with how polished the website and screenshots are, it looks better than the states of some triple A titles

I have read about parties of 4 people - is that correct?

I totally understand where Mollerz is coming from with the question and would be in favor of smaller group parties. Having to find, and schedule 10-20 other friends to do content with in reality is not always as fun as it sounds haha

When asked in June about group size this is what was said in response [S6] BuscoBear — 06/04/2021 2-3 would be sufficient for most things. Your group may want to join a neighborhood tho
