Tbh. whenever I started a new mmo at launch, I felt like being a locust of many just following a stream of beings eating up everything in sight to gain the upper hand against other beings of my kind. That's one thing I dislike playing a human nowadays.
I'm not sure if I want that for Palia.
Given the lore that humankind dissappeared for unknown reasons and then reappear through ruins...
That's also the reason I didn't play New World and other mmo so far unless they already are on the market for some time.

So then, is the value of the NFT attached to the image or the link? And if the latter, how does one evaluate the value of a series of alphanumeric characters?

I've recently unlocked swtor housing, which seems decent so far, at least you can have a mailbox/bank/merchants/gatherables in there and the actual decorating is structured enough to do half asleep but easy to customize.
I used to decorate rooms on imvu, talk about free reign, had a mini waterpark on a lilypad at one point because of the ability to resize/flip/spin/slide everything to an extreme amount

Items that have a specific code and that code is unable to be replicated (despite there being copies of the work) but owning the particular code is what you pay for. NFTs are good, and bad. Depends really. It's like, if you bought the mona lisa painting, the original, you'd want to make sure that mona lisa was an actual painting, and not a replica, that's where NFT comes in, you own the ONLY copy, but unfortunately people have found out ways to replicate and manufacture, dropping the uniqueness of the Item.
