My theory, based on the general store post in official art last week is that its some sort of trading system that goes via Zeki at the general store. Kinda like an auction house system but not quite the same. Still a theory .. player 1 sells to Zeki at price 1 ... player 2 buys from Zeki at price 2. This means player 1 will always have a sale .. and player2 pays a price based on the price the game calculates ( possibly based on player1s asked for price ).

adding rl cash for ingame stuff just becomes sad. least you truly know how good a player is or how much they've dedicated into the game when you actually have to do the work ingame to get the stuff.

They haven’t said either way. Pets are on the roadmap and animal husbandry is a possibility based on dev interest however. Seeing as cooking recipes are not customisable it may be similarly with other activities with this type of mechanism possibility.

You then have to factor in models for baby/young and adult and appropriate animations and even texture differations and ai differations for genetic diversity simulation. I would suspect based on the complex nature of this area depending on how detailed they would want to go that it would likely be something added at some point after release… if at all.

yeah I agree, even though an idea may look nice when viewed separately, it may not work well with everything else

no man's sky did a great job with procedural species generation, there are some talks and papers on their algorithms

but it's not a trivial task

Singularity 6 have not yet made any details to how they want to monetize the game, so we don't know if there will be an upfront cost, a subscription, free-to-play, or if there will be any post-launch microtransactions. They have said they will add foreign language channels when they are closer to localising the game and have moderators to assist. Can we get a channel for (insert language)? Given that the Pre-Alpha was in English, we've taken the decision to have the server be primarily in this language at this time. It's also very difficult to moderate channels in a language we don't speak. When we're ready to localize the game, we'll make sure to add language-specific channels for players and some of the lovely community members who have already volunteered for moderators.

Physics puzzles, platforming, mazes, other logic puzzles. Possibilities are endless.

Like pick the right job or right tool or the door won't open, so you have to rember what different things do and how to do it?

They have said that they may not support private servers. There will be tools to not worry about seeing people you don't want to if that is the reason for a private server [S6] BuscoBear — 06/04/2021 We're sensitive to this, believe me. We may not end up supporting private servers but if we don't, you'll have other tools to filter out unwanted players. A huge focus for us is in having some of the best social systems, and that includes not worrying about seeing players you don't like seeing.

I doubt they will design the game so that you can play by yourself or a small group, seeing as community and social aspects are the main part of the game. You won't have to spend your time with other people to play the game but you won't necessarily be able to avoid them.
