I would love some sort of reflection of irl seasons for events but outside of that I wouldn’t mind anything the devs offer up.
I imagine if they do it based on irl clock then it’ll be based on the northern hemisphere. Feels lame for the souther hemisphere people though.

One way to avoid the “missing seasonal items” such as fish could be to make those available in different regions. Like winter fish also being available in a mountain area or some such.
Idk if something like that would be worth the time to the devs. It’s just another interesting topic I can’t wait to see how they handle.

I do like that the best. Different biomes.
For major holidays if they decide to celebrate in game they could use an excuse like Magic as to why everything is suddenly autumnal for Halloween or wintery for Christmas time.

Archeage was like you had a separate skillbar. That you used to do stuff like reel right if the fish went right. Or left. Or big reel when the fish is tired, and give slack if its fighting super hard so the line doesnt break. And it ends up doing damage to the fish. Had to have really fast reaction.

Mtap is like, you gotta keep the crosshair on the fish when you're reeling and it uses stam. And if you reel when its not on the fish the line snaps.

And the fish is going right to left really fast.

I could see their fishing mechanics being really well thought out to make it feel immersive, but I can't see there being much chance of doing it wrong

Since it's all laid back cozy vibes, I don't think much will present a difficult challenge

Hardest time catching a fish I had irl was bringing in a 10lb white sea bass on a fresh water shakespear rod with 3lb fishing line on it. Worked on bringing in that guy for 10 minutes, and my line didn't break.

I've heard legends of some DnD games taking years and upward to finish, so obviously if we do things right, we can have an age long story. Also you can just tack on as many players as needed. Though, I don't know how a 100 player campaign would go
