At the beginning of this discord there was nothing, and with the speed of a thousand gazelles thousands upon thousands of people flooded in! IT'S A STAMPEDE! You had to bob, and weave, and steer clear of some immeeeeeeense drama now and then! The chat went wild it was all over the place, it was flying up and with the start of the end event, some sought refuge.. That's where I saw them.. a blue name, not so unlike now.. they were brighter, shining really, full of life, ideas.. I just had to talk to them.. Who was this you ask? Well it was Potentially Simuel Skeletons, of course..

Man we had fun together in the #🎨│old-palia-fan-art channel, <queue music from ghost's pottery making scene> 🎶 oooooooooooh myyyy loooooove 🎶
We laughed, we saw so much beauty in the world together, encouraged others, so much that I think we may have forgot ourselves.. I made some emotes and Simuel was always there for me, a second opinion, a trustworthy voice.. And one day, Simuel had a brilliant idea, to make a community art challenge, to get people engaged and hyped.. I was fortunate enough then that they asked for my help, we made a great team..

We made so many plans, (a lot of which are in the future so you're in for a treat ) and made even more puns.. so many puns.. that damn smile pun..

After so many adventures, we had slain so many art blocks, we spread joy and inspired! Then.. it happened.. the unthinkable, they announced for all to see, the proposal.. I say proposal, really it was just a claim that we already were married, but who was I to argue with this person I had now grown so close to? Whom I called a friend, a partner, so why not more..? Those were exciting times! So young the server was, and so were we!

~~ But it all changed when the FAQ nation attacked.. wait, no, wrong crossover..~~

All good things come to an end.. why would we be exempt? We were out of time space in the message.. Discord had caused the discord in our marriage, we had traveled too far, we reached a breaking point.. Do we engage ourselves in our work? The community challenge, for many to enjoy.. or do we focus on us? It was a hard choice.. and just as publicly and unexpected as the marriage was announced.. so was the announcement of divorce.. It was such a wake up call.. (Because they let me know right when I woke up)

What a journey it had been.. so many people met, friends made, questions answered.. (it's much closer than 3 years btw)
And even though, it was a hard choice.. and we'll always be friends, and keep working together.. Just know, this divorce is not your fault #💬│palia-discussions.. we both love you
Carrying on into the future the art challenge shall remain! But now.. at the cost of our marriage, it'll be better for those who were not here then, to welcome those that find the path, now.

Math can be really fun sometimes. Like I didn’t enjoy regular math classes in high school but I did math team which was great. If you’re interested in relearning it, there’s a lot of resources that are a lot more interesting than just basic learning

Showed the daughter of a waitress at a diner I used to regular D&D 3.5e as a tool to get her more engaged in math as she was struggling. They started playing a game at home, and she was finally understanding math as she now knew how to apply it. Her grades shot up.

Think of video games like a car. Based on average time frame for video game production of this type being 5-6 years, and Palia having been in the works for 3 years, saying the game is roughly 50% done is a safe assumption. Now when building a car, 50% done would have a frame and a running engine, and maybe some wheels and tires. It would be functional, but you still wouldn't be driving it around town.

Without revealing anything from PALIA Bitcraft has gathering, crafting, and fishing(normal mmo stuffs) and a large focus on this unknown "Empire system" which people can use to take over towns? "All cities you capture will become part of your empire" from their FAQs.. I have a feeling there will be quite a bit of player debates along with political town and town talks...

While many people want to settle as small towns, I have a feeling there will be huge power creeps that will slowly take over the map in one way or another.. It's concept, without knowing more, is far from Grief-proof "BitCraft emphasizes competition between groups of players" -faqs

I wouldn't even compare Bitcraft to Palia.. People will, but it'll be... much different.. gameplay wise..
The only thing comparable is it's graphics..
