Today, Amelia revealed that we'd be getting more varieties of information, and we'd be moving to weekly Q&As instead. Of course I'm excited, but there's still a hole in my heart. After all, no number of reveals will bring my wife back from the realm beyond.

Santa hat will be revealed this week. I wonder if he knows my pain? To be ignored and cast by the wayside for so long? But at least he gets his time in the spotlight. Everybody will know of him.

Today I'm fishing in a video game. It's really cute and I really like it. I'm looking forward to this in Palia.

I'm also doodling a witch like Cinna wanted and she's really cute so far. I'm incredibly happy with my art progress, and it makes me wonder if witch outfits and hats could be a thing in Palia too.

I may be grumpy towards santa hat but I'm happy to see that people are enjoying him and his eventual reveal. Hopefully he has a place in everyone's hearts.

I understand how much excitement today generated. I understand that people were giddy and wanting to share with the community. But I will admit, it didn't go exactly as planned. I know that people here don't intend ill will. And I know that imitation is sometimes considered the sincerest form of flattery. But when you're doing this for 2 months straight - and I have reasons why I still do this that only a few people reading this truly know - it kind of becomes your thing. I have this instead of pre-alpha. And it was something I built up over time. It's... me.

Anyways, I took a breather, had a chat with a couple of people, and came up with something to post. I wasn't supposed to post this.

I'm wanting to open an inn/tavern named Seaside Lullaby but my hopes were drastically dropped when instanced buildings were said to be potentially a thing, so it made me think, "Why would anyone visit my shops or any others if it's not on the front page, and why would people skip through 88 pages just to find a single shop that may never get customers?"

So if it's not gonna go well I'm settling for just a frontiersman

Well, no. For the pre-alpha testing they were only inviting 1400 total, those have all been sent out! But! Their website is updated and mentions the possibility of small scale tests using the same signup as before. As well as alpha and beta stages are not announced which would be large scale tests, so definitely sign up, takes 2 minutes and there is a chance

Overall, I have to say I've been impressed with the pre-alpha testers. 1400 people is a lot. I'm really surprised I haven't seen any major leaks of NDA material despite there being so many opportunities. I'm glad the devs have been respected in that regard.
