With a lack of pre-alpha in my life, and a lack of wife in my life, the thoughts tend to wander aimlessly, especially where Palia is concerned. And I began considering: if people in Discord were villagers, who would they be (and I'm sorry I only have space to mention a few)?

@remote latch would be the town librarian. Everyone would be asking for help with research or just general questions. And she always has the right book with the right page with the right answer.

@buoyant heath is rather obvious: he's in the inn common room as a comedian. Entertaining the patrons. earning a little coin for his troubles. Maybe a free drink now and then; I don't know how generous Ashura is.

@warm plover is a whatever-Palia-has-for-cats breeder. But not ordinary Palia-cats. These would be like bobcat Palia-cats. Big, fluffy, cuddly, but able to do more than just sit on your lap and purr. During the day the dulcid sound of Rin's voice can be heard around the village, singing to the cats.

@pallid igloo is the head of the "Welcome Wagon," greeting newcomers to the town, making them feel safe and sound in their new home... maybe giving them a small basket of "starting gear" to help them with their new lives.

As for me... well, I'm the guy sitting on a stool under a giant oak tree, tinkering and smiling until assailed by groups of children, looking to hear another tale from the storyteller. And there's so many stories to tell.

@celest maple , the game is currently in Pre-Alpha only with all known testing spots allocated. But, their site has been updated with a mention of may be running some small scale testing and feedback runs which they will send emails out for. The next big scale test run isn't on a time frame yet.

Kinda, its a cosy community simulation mmo .. stardew valley, animal crossing are two of the games it has been compared to yet

Too bad. Currently play, Champions Online. And love having a character with two names. Someone takes your name, single name, then you got to tweek it or use accent letters. Lot's and lot's of mmorpgs now days seem to permit, space, or two names. Before release, might be a thing to consider. Easier to implement now then later.
