The worlds are infinite but limited on population. 50 if I remember. But you can exit and join a new one as many times you like. So there a chance to meet people worldwide.

What’s everyone’s opinion on magic being in the game?? I think it would be wonderful for both combat and non combat roles and maybe to “unlock” spells you’ll haft to buy a spell book off a alchemist and craft a spell using materials you get from the world or other players.

There for bringing players together to trade with one another

Also think it would be cool to have a wizard tower full of spell books…

After lots of MMOs, I feel like magic should be something that's limited/rare both for combat and non-combat content because it's magic after all.
As you've mentioned, the learning process for getting magic spells should be appropriately complex, depending on the spell.

Yeah I mean magic shouldn’t be easy to learn but it would be fun to have and good for everyone, I personally would love to be the town wizard for example with a wizard tower as my house or as a part of it with a alchemy station. With spell books on the walls etc

Well depends on how the magic works/exists. Palia for example could have a very freeform of magic many could use, based on say etheric flows, while it could also be very restrictive with the requirements of vast understanding of basic principles. both are valid paths.

Magic is just a term, and while some may call it a miracle, it could also be an everyday for another

It probably fall into the mixed categories then, where very basic spells would be extremely easy(simple small fires, cold air, etc.) while harder or more complex magic(bonfires, freezing water, levitation, etc.) would require greater knowledge

So starting the fireplace would be easy but starting a coal pit would take work

And as far as I've heard, I think there is no magicy stuff in the game yet revealed at least but there might be stuff like that as humans used to be the "masters of magic" 3000 years ago before disappearing.
