pretty much runescape + animal crossing but better? Like you gather/craft, sometimes solo sometimes with randos or friends, have a big world to explore, cool quests and NPCs, and can customize your house/plot of land. And with actual graphics

It would probably depend on whether there will be anything skill based in the game though.

most MMORPGs seem to have all the crafting professions be purely something you need to grind levels for to be good at, meanwhile leaving combat as the part you can be genuinely skilled in. Since Palia only has hunting which is the closest we have to combat atm, it is yet to be seen whether there will be anything that isn't just chill grinding.
