It should be a new option in the tool wheel. Another thing to try would be to go to your collections menu and unequip the Dawnspur. Alternatively, go to your Retirement Acres and un-retire your Dawnspur. Either of these should fix the issue! (Source: #🌟│sixer-tracker message )

To be fair, it was a little misleading, considering the fancy phoenixfire dawnspur is... well, still a dawnspur, and it was pinned in the sixer-tracker that all dawnspurs were free and not paywalled.

Not saying they did this on purpose, but it can be misleading and make some folks believe 1 thing when it's not.

That said, yes, you can still breed those on your ranch, but you can't ride them outside of that. But the thing that does make it a bit... confusing, is... well, what if that Phoenixfire one has really good traits but your free one doesn't? It'll feel like you might need to pay so you can ride them. Which just kinda sucks :(

i'm so confused with outfit pricing. i just can't figure out the reasoning between price differences. some expensive outfits with only 2 pieces and an idle animation are 3400, but then another outfit with 3 pieces and an idle animation is 1700. and then you have an outfit like pretty protector that has 3 pieces, an idle and outfit change animation, and its own glider for 3400 as well.

Just fwiw, Palia is Daybreaks biggest success atm, so they're definitely getting money in. But I think for many people they feel like the resources put into the game are not sufficient.

Spending a good chunk of that, well... shouldn't it feel worth it? Some folks just don't view it as that right now, because of the disconnect with the pricing & just the overall balance. Which I think is completely fair and valid. It's also why some folks might compare prices here, to like... idk, some other games that are around the same pricepoint (or cheaper), or how much cosmetics might cost in a different game.

People's time, worth etc, is... well, worth something and I think that's also important.

Without players, the game can't survive. Yeah cosmetics are a luxury but that's also the thing, not everyone can afford it but many players wish they could support the game.

i guess it depends on how many other games people play as well. when you're only playing 1 game its easier to spend whatever on cosmetics on that game. but maybe if you're someone that plays a multitude of different games (me), they would rather spend $35-$60 on an entire game, rather than just on a cosmetic or 2. now imo, $20 is my limit for a cosmetic. maybe $30 if it is very very high quality (like a black desert online outfit). the good palia outfits are $35 and still dont have as many details as other game cosmetics with the same or cheaper price.

Also since we are complaining I still find it beyond bizarre how they can put out such a large map here one of the "unique" huntables is a recolored sernuk, the jaakcat magic version uses the same trick as the chapaa one and all the insects and fish are also just recolors.
Also the foregeables are so few that I was able to collect all of the new ones within an hour.
How can you make such a huge world feel so dead?

So tell me why.. 1. When elder wood dropped you introduced a paid courier pet. There was also “coincidentally” a frog glitch to get infinite epic frogs with honey lures. You could pay for the pet so you could stay longer, and send stuff home. When the frog event ended the free courier pet came out. Maybe you can pin that on coincidence, I didn’t think so.. fast forward to highlands update.. now you can pay $30 for 4 courier slots… you also introduced horses, and the fastest horse yet, you did not mention we’re gonna have to pay to be able to use it. Specifically $25. This is wild pricing imo for stuff you are basically forcing us into... Cosmetics is one thing and I think everyone is okay with paying for that, but the second you force us to have to breed faster and better horses but also give a “pay to win” aspect imo I’m not okay with that.

I think what really rubs me the wrong way about the paid horses is their implementation.
One could decide to breed the premium horses in the ranch since they're still ranchable without paying, and easily wind up with something far superior to their default horse. They would be unable to transfer those traits to their actual rideable horse, or breed them onto a free horse due to them being considered different types of animals, leaving them with no way to actually access the stats they worked to attain except to shell out cash for the rider's license.

It may not be "pay 2 win" in the sense that a default horse would probably be able to attain the same traits/stats given enough time and effort, but it's very much meant to prey on sunk cost fallacy in that people would likely focus their time/resources in breeding the fancier horses before the plain default one

Let me clarify the process in which one might wind up feeling trapped/forced into buying the handler's license.

-Someone gets a basic horse, and then the fire horse. They decide to throw all their cookies, etc at making a cool fire horse just to show off on their ranch.
-in the process of buying/breeding more fire horses, they wind up with one that has insanely good movement traits.
-This fire horse, intended to be simply cosmetic/sit on the ranch, winds up being vastly superior in actual mount stats to their default horse.
-They now feel pressured to pay for the license, because A) they can't breed those traits onto the default horse, and B) they already spent a lot of resources/cookies on the unrideable one, and have less resources to spare for the default/rideable breed.

It's not about the fact that a premium variant exists, the problem lies with the way it was implemented- there shouldn't be a situation where one is able to put in time/effort into something, and yet not be able to use what they earned without shelling out cash for it after the fact.

I have been fishing since the the update and I have used no bait, normal worm and glow worm, during anytime of the day going on every location on the new map and I catch the same 10 fishes all the time. Does your friend have a quest with those characters active? Sometimes, that means the character is waiting in one specific location and won't go to their usual places.

It's 25 tickets for 1 dye palette, you'll unlock the individual colours as well when buying one. The older premium outfits will be added over time, starting next patch, they just didn't have enough dev time to implement the dye feature for all items at the same time so are releasing them in several batches.

I am trying to find out if I am just missing a setting change or what. When I am on "foot" I can control the direction my character runs/walks by moving the mouse. I cant understand why I cant do this when on the horse. I have coordination issues due to Dyslexia and find the WASD awkward to operate and get them confused all the time (hence I only press Wand Shift for running and the rest is controlled by moving the mouse. The endurance System on char and horse should be gone. No update vor your garden no new fruits etc. Map a lot of free space and sometimes there are 10 things on same space, flower, stones etc

I feel the game absolutely needs another element, like another mini game, to keep players engaged and logging back in.

An idea I submitted: A pet battling mini-game where players breed, raise, and train their own companion pets to battle other players’ pets automatically, even when the other player is offline. Yeah I agree with everyone, and these are great ideas! I would love to see something completely new to the game, maybe an additional skill...another mini game, make ranching more interesting or some other benefit other than rare cookies, maybe switch up the bundles to be performing actions rather than the classic "collect this, turn it in" system like "water 10 times"... maybe random chests to find daily for all maps kinda like loot piles? but make the rewards you get exclusive to only find in piles like the flotsdam stuff/makeshift items.... maybe another collection wall like in Kilma to work towards unlocking something special or new feature so it's worth it to grind for everything...heck even a minimap would be clutch so I can see where I'm running lol

Happy new expansion, everybody! So, I guess you have already discussed the new region, the quests continuation (those who have access to it), and the HORSES! They are amazing,... but... Don't want to be buzz killer but I had it a bit hard to get used to the camera rotation while riding, and I am not good at speedy mounts or vehicles. But I am learning and adapting. I guess the camera movement won't change to match our default camera, because it's a mount... That is the only little thing that bugs me...Whatever! Don't mind me I am old!... Overall, the expansion is beautiful as usual, and can't wait to explore further. Have fun!!! ...And thanks to the developers from Singularity6 for the beautiful new region and stuff! 💖

also with horses it reminds me of dragon riding in WoW, and they have small quests for racing (not against anyone you beat your own timers). i think something like that would be fun

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to apply only part of the palette to a dye slot. It's how the dyeing system works, from what I've seen they apply the different colours in the palette to different sections of the clothing item when you select one. It's especially noticeable with the multicolour palettes, if you want to see it in action.

The new DLCs.. I noticed that the royal highlands supporter DLC seems.. off? The image for it shows a full toolset (As added here) But the description doesn't mention them at all.... but /does/ mention the glider (Which is also in the image) But i see a comment on the DLC sayign the toolset /and/ the glider aren't in this dlc???

They have done this before, by asking people to submit a ticket to support. Iirc it was during the first time Paths were introduced and players would buy the levels thinking it'd also unlock the pass. So because of the confusion, they did issue refunds if players submitted a ticket.

The larger supporter pack, I believe you get a similar treat pack that the starter bundle comes with, so look for the items in your treats tab in your storage chest that you tossed in there. Hey guys, does anyone know how to access the clothing palette after you purchase it? I picked purple tile, it says "purchase this pallete for 24 tailor tickets and comes with 25 colours" (or vise versa w.e) so Ive boughten plenty of pallets but cant find them or access them and all im able to get is the colour tile I purchased for the pallete

This confused me two, but what it means is the 25 individual Hues of that color. So if you open it up in like hair you'll see all those colors seperate you can pick. Clothing uses the whole slider of those colors at once.

Ah, I bet your problem is you are trying to Dye some clothing that isn't functional with Dyes yet! All the basic clothing has it and you'll see a little paintbrush in the color selection area that takes you to a Dye screen. If you don't see the paintbrush it means it isn't available yet. Only some of the premium stuff is and its mostly the big fancy items.

So clothing and hair work a little differently. For clothing each pack is a 'set' of colors. See how in mine I actually have 3 unlocked there and one is that dark green to bright cyan? That is one 'pallet' for clothing.

But for hair it looks like this!

It only uses singular shades, no gradients.

Clothes use ALL of it for gradient effects.

Clothing has a more complexe system where areas will have the whole spectrum of that pack applied. It is more dynamic, but because of that you can only choose the WHOLE PACK at once, and not each separate color.

So its like buying the color and the effect at once. So some pinks are more of a ombre than just pink.

Clothing is broken down into 3 or 4 sections you dye, and you can apply any of the premade packs to them. But you can't alter the packs beyond what is already offered.

It is unlikley they will change that part of the system, but will offer more dyes over time to unlock.

Honestly no, im still struggling to understand. Let me try to explain my view... so you know the palette you have shown for your hair selection? Are you able to see all those colours for dying your outfit? I hope im making sense lol

For clothing, No. ALL those colors you see in the hair section are getting used at once for the clothing. So it is the whole PACK that is used. Hence why in hair you can unlock one seperate color for 1 ticket, but in clothing it costs 25, since its giving you ALL of them.

The dye system as three blocks: A, B, and C.

Each block affects a different piece of The outfit.

The blocks use the entire color palette.

You unlock the entire palette with 25 tickets. Then, you can choose 1 palette type for each Block. If you pick the same palette for all three Blocks, you will see that it's different shades/gradients from that palette.

Since you unlocked the entire palette via the dye system, you can now use the entire palette in hairs and makeups.

So, you do not get to individually select a color for the Blocks in the dye system. You're only selecting a palette for it to choose from.

Imo, the way they implemented it is kinda convoluted and not very user intuitive tbh.

It reminds me a bit of Infinity Nikki's dye/palette system, which was also met with a lot of controversy back when it released. Hope they get to improve it in the future though with more player feedback.

I'm also a bit disappointed considering the popularity of the Founder's Pack, that those outfits didn't seem to be included in the first batch of outfits available for dyeing, but that might just be me. I know they're gonna roll out more in the future but I also know many people were likely a bit disappointed.

each block(I think they called it a channel) selects the whole palette to a degree - a plain jacket shows as a gradient while a detailed jacket would have a base color with sections of details in different colors. Still like nikki and definitely not the super duper impractical level of control people dreamed of. Hopefully they do refine it to be clearer - even just showing the full palette with the colors used selected from the chosen palette would make it more obvious what's happening ... oh and that could add the opportunity (when it's not just the whole gradient) to "reroll" the chosen colors!
