It's completing all 4 bundles, but, there is the next month to do all 4 bundles. People can help you with the cooking ones, and the produce for the canned items can be bought from Badruu I believe. And, some of the items for the crafting bundle can be purchased at Sifuu if needed. The time intensive one is the furniture one, but those recipes can be unlocked (initially) via Tish and then by inspiration. They occasionally pop up in the furniture store too for purchase.

I hope I can level my farming skill enough to get the preserves maker… I think I’m 1 or 2 levels below getting it. I think I have the furniture items unlocked. I wish I had more time to play, that’s my main issue when it comes to completing these timed bundles… are there groups I can organize with to get the food?

I totally understand, and yeah! There are groups you can join/coordinate with for the cooked items! You can check the parties channel here for some cooking parties, or, another popular website is PaliaParty.app and lots of cooking parties are hosted on there. If you haven't used the website before and it looks confusing, just come back and ask here and we can walk you through how to use that site. When you make an account on Palia party, you'll want your name there to match your in-game/character name so it's easier for the host to find you.

it is pretty quiet if there isn't someone in there being The Extrovert and encouraging some sort of group play. It's servers of up to 30 people in a game that can be done solo with small incentives to play together and where people know there's unwritten rules and they don't want to fall foul of them

it's also hard to chat and play with some platforms being even more difficult, language barriers, and font that can't be scaled up so most don't use the chat regularly

Cool, thanks. I didn't just wanna rant for a second and people get annoyed about it. (their anxiety is showing)

So why in the ever loving FLUFF do we get snacks for the animals that don't do anything other than deal with stats? Why can't they also fill the food meter. I've got like 50 some odd snacks for my animals and I almost never use them because they don't contribute at all to the actual feeding and fueling of my babies.
I've used a couple for the purpose of fulfilling a weekly achievement, but that's about it.

rng sucks and i will forever wish and hope that we can either

1. eventually get a 'bad luck threshold'/'pity system'-- aka, after not getting a rare item x amount of times, that the drop chance increases to where you eventaully will get it. (then the threshold resets)
2. an item that can help with a luck % so you can have a higher drop chance

and for some stuff, like plushes, you can have specific things drop that you can use to exchange/turn in for a specific one that youre wanting.

It honestly is just sad that when someone "complains" or talks about this in general, the overall reply seems to be "crying about it won't help". I've met people who got incredibly frustrated at the smooth pebble or the starred ogopuu scale to the point it made them quit the game.

There's definitely a subsection of the community that thinks because it was hard for them it should be hard for everyone

somethings are so rare that even doubling the chance of a drop barely helps, it's not going to break the game. the "luck" potion, relic, whatever could even be limited to things with drop rates under 10% or even 5% and it'd still help

I dont even think "Grinding a long time/low drop rates" is the same thing as "difficult/hard" either, personally. (not saying you are, but i know some ppl do think that!)

it's just somethign that is chance and feels incredibly bad if you just.. dont get it to drop. I dont know. It just feels worse too, if it's tied to quests or achievements.

And thre's always alternative ways to keep the same feeling of 'grind' but not making it feel like youre getting no progress towards it. For the pebble, idk, grind at least for x amount of oyster meat and trade it in (if there is no actual bad luck threshold). Something that can help show progression towards that goal.

But I've definitely seen statements like that too in regards to making certain skills more accessible, as if it's going to make their achievement lesser.

you can party up with other players while hunting down some ogopuus, it doesnt really actually increase the odds of you getting a star ogopuu scale but it should give you an easier time since more players are shooting at the ogopuus

i had the same one, and when i logged in after the update, my character was wearing a plain, flat, loose style instead. it was very strange and i asked in different servers a few times if anyone else had had their hairstyle change on them, but got no answers.

Some people make a "junkyard" or IKEA style plot with their excess furniture, if they don't want to delete it. Perhaps that could help with the visual aspect of having furniture in the storage chest?

Others put all the furniture they don't want in their locked storage as well. It's unlimited for decor either way, but the locked storage at least lets it be more "out of the way" to a degree

So it's most likely referring to when a community or group are hosting an event in a server. Typically this is organized on discord and/or Twitch can be anything from cooking, bug catching, hunting etc. And will also mean they take over the server

So my sister calculated how many each person would have to make based on the number of players at the high time based and the goal we had to reach at the beginning of the event. Each player would have to make 11 hundred to 12 hundred for these events. Most food party 100 which takes 1-2 hour depending, it would take 11-22 hours to cook that much each person. She’s good at math lol.

If they could campfire, take 10/20 pits on a lot. Make the simplistic dish on there and work on that in 1 hour you can make 12k in recipes. If the campfire counts

Anyone else having issues finding duskwings even when using lures, I have gone through 10+ lures today and not a single one spawned. (wondering if something isnt working/glitched) I usually get at least 1-2 each lure. I know spawn rates drop once something gets a plushie, but its an uncommon bug not rare or epic so why is the spawn rate so low

Yeah like Tanooki said, some of the bundles have decent rewards (i.e Roots Temple) but yeah so far it feels a bit incomplete, hoping they extend on them in the future (story wise at least).

At least they're not needed for main story progression but some of the bundles really don't feel rewarding for all the effort, imo.

I'd like to talk about ranching QOL suggestions.

Please let us sell our animals and the cookies. I know part of ranching is seeing what spectacular animals we can breed. But I just don't care about that portion of it. Because of that, I don't care about the cookies. All they do is get in the way in my storage chest. I finally put them in a lockbox chest just so they're not all over the place.

I think breeding and taking care of the animals would be a lot more fun if once they are venerated, we could sell them for a good amount. Have stages for the prices that you get for selling them. For instance, if you sell a baby peki you get $1,000. The next stage is $2,000. As you go up, you get more for each level. That would encourage me more to take care of the animals and then be able to sell them for money instead of cookies that I just don't care about. I feel like if you would give us more options to sell stuff and not have to grind quite so hard for money in the game, people would quit exploiting money making schemes and play the game as it was intended to be played.

I get migraines, I would change gama settings and device brightness, if you are playing on pc, you can make several display presets on most monitors made after 2005, I would set a gaming preset where you mess with the contrast and saturation. For my migraines ive been recommended to FL 41 glasses, you can find affordable ones on Amazon. But I totally recommend them for gaming. Also play with your lights on to offset your vision.

Yes, for some recipes you require at least 2 stations of each type.

For cake parties for example, you need at least 3 of each (3 prep stations, 3 mixing stations, 3 ovens)

Same! I have had horrible laggy issues since the 0.96 patch. On my home plot, everything works great, but if I go into another one of my plots, my farm, Kilima, Bahari Bay or the new area, I literally have to wait like 2 minutes for everything to load in. I've tried emptying my cache, cookies, etc., on my Switch, but even after everything loads in, my character freezes while running and sometimes walking, every minute or so. It's super frustrating.

Anyone who has organized this type of event- is there a particular strategy or method that is ideal to get the most people their achievement each cycle? And how many players can realistically be catching chapaas at the same time so that we're not letting chapaas despawn but also we're not having too many people at once and no one gets the acheivement?

that achievement is usually ignored cause the chappa chase is either borked and its not spawning them or you have to legit stand on people and steal their chappas in order to make 25 it seems

That's the point of doing a server takeover haha. In a normal game of chapaa chase, it's basically impossible to get 25 chapaas. But when the whole server is just letting 4-8 people catch the chapaas and those not catching are helping out by shooting slowdown arrows- then some people can get their acheivements. I'm just trying to refine the process as it's fairly new to me

I dont perfer server take downs cause it forces players to move onto other servers if they arent apart of the event so to speak. I am a solo player 100% so i can understand the need to try to get people help with that achivement and i heard partys is the way to go for that

Your amount of 4 to 8 actively chasing is usually good and manageable with the timing, and, it will in totality take about 3 hours total (so 3 in game days) for most people who need the ahcievement (as not everyone in the server takeover will need the achievement).

Some people have reported Chase isn't spawning any Chapaas this month, so there's that issue to be aware of too.

One of my main problems with Palia in that regard is that many aspects of it (specially when it comes to cosmetics) seem to cater mostly to a certain audience while alienating the rest of it. If you like hunting shmoles, you can get a decent amount of elderclams, but you do have to hunt for a good solid hour or more to make it "worth it" to me. in about 2 to 3 hours of shmole hunting, i can average probably 60 to 100 elderclams?

I see what you mean! It can definitely feel awkward at first. For a long time I only did one romance because it felt awkward to do more than one, but eventually I started trying to do other romances and it felt less "weird" over time. Now I just focus on "I want that decoration item from their romance gifts" lol!

Players load in as ghost players to speed up loading times. It's primarily on underpowered systems like Switch that you'll see this a lot. It's common in the underground because you have so much player activity in a small space.

Hello, I want to ask a genuine question. Does the flow tree will not respawn after you chop a tree for again & again? It’s been a long time I did not play this game . Also the last time I remember you a purple fog will appeared on 12 am and a giant flow tree will respawn and a player needs to chop it together .

Flow trees don't respawn quite like other resources - they're meant to be kind of scarce or rare. You can try to get some to spawn in an area if you chop a bunch of the normal trees (this doesn't guarantee flow trees, but it works sometimes!)

The other thing is the flow tree grove, that happens at midnight in-game time in Bahari Bay! For the bigger trees, you'll need some people to help

• When a grove spawns, trees in the area of the effect will become Flow Trees.

Unfortunately there's a known bug with feeding. You can only feed once, and youll have to go back again each time

If I compare horizontally, Palia is the best online multiplayer life-simulation game I’ve been able to find so far. But if I compare it vertically, I really hope to see Palia gain more content and gameplay in the future—for example, adding affixes to gear, making the pet system richer, or expanding the player trading system. I’m not entirely sure… Anyway, I’d also like to take this chance to express my respect for the Palia team.

We're 2 years into beta and 6 months into "chapter 1" of the story so there should be lots to come ... hopefully.

Re:specifically

• pets - it went from none, to premium cosmetic, to functional premium, to 1 free with a function and lots premium that expand that functionality. So they are slowly making things more robust.
• trading - there wasn't any for quite a while, just requests, and then it was added for plushies and later stickers and artifacts. Both requests and trading could be better.

i hope they don’t keep it at just 1… i’d like for 1 per “big change in zones” , like zone 1 is kilima, bahari and EW(plus the next area) , then zone 2 would be whatever after and etc, just so it makes ppl travel to those places because “there’s a free pet i need it “ like how we seen with ppl actually doing the story and etc because that’s how you got the doggo
