if you closely at that entrance you will see that they werte supposed to go on top of the archway but somehow they are rendering on the ground. If you look up at the archway they line up perfect with the missing ones on top to those on the bottom.

Not that I know of, but that could be a really good suggestion!! Like we do have entrances to both Kilima and Bahari Bay, and with the way the Bahari entrance looks from the house plot, we could get a little minecart or something to (canonically at least) send back and forth our inventory so we at least wouldn't have to switch maps so often

well it was like 2k arrows. it just forced me over the storage limit
but most of them were makeshift, for chapaas. doing Hassian's work for him

I use slow and dispel for almost everything, I was just on a massacre for some fur and the chapaas in kilima die to anything so I used some extra flint I had to clear some space I just uh, hadnt finished using them before the update

left me in a bit of a pickle when I couldnt put anything into storage, was lucky I had enough to buy ammo pouch upgrades

ohh yeah, I like hunting in kilima sometimes just because it tends to have less traffic. depends on the time & amount of new players too though lol

btw for anybody that want to make money quite fast with low effort: plant 1 row of tomatoes and 1 row of potatoes. and do the same to all your parcels, its alot of money

also if you don't enjoy making food or at least don't have the patience for it, get a preserves jar and put tomatoes / potatoes / corn to make them pickle, as you can see its quite decent when you are out for extended time. i have 550 focus and 53% extra exp and my focus goes low very fast but since i'm using these pickled vegetables its much easier

you can also sell them, starred tomatoe = 34 gold coins, starred pickled tomatoes = 51 gold coins

I am completely understanding of the random odd bug, even fully released games have bugs here and there with new patches, but there's.... a LOT of issues that would have been caught if someone in the team (aka QA) just took the time to run around the world in the to-be-released updated version first and confirmed all the changes/new things were working as intended before pushing it live

I don't mind bigger patches in slower chunks, even much slower than the current chunks, but the problem is that they released the game in a kind of shell state and whenever they release more content its sort of like building the shell into a not-shell rather than adding to something that was already full. I feel like everything they've released so far could have been one giant chunk of game outside of Maji Market stuff, and it still feels a bit incomplete. Any new zones or new skills or new people I would put into a 'expansion' (I know they don't work that way but I'm just saying how I'm thinking of whats been released so far).

They also then complain that people stop logging in or they can't keep people logging in but like, a) bugs can be game breaking and why would people play your bugged out game when they can play something finished, and b) how do you expect to keep people logging in when you're still releasing handfuls of things. People play through entire expansion packs in like 2-3 weeks, that's just the nature of the game world. And if you take AC as an example, a lot of people stopped playing after a couple months, and a lot of people still play it regularly because despite the limits of content, they have like endless amounts of islands to visit and villagers to bring in. There are so many there's no way you could ever meet them all, and that's what fuels players to keep playing, they want the more unique villagers. The rest of us weren't interested in doing that so we just stopped after we finished buildng our island

I feel like Palia has been better than most open betas I've participated in tbh- not to, directly disagree but. This isn't a full release, this is still a total work in progress.

Like, yeah, functionality isn't always great, and there isn't a huge ammount of content out.... but its a beta. That came out, like. Last year, if I'm not mistaken? Full scale games with this concept often take 6+ years with a well funded, full scale development team. I'm under the impression that S6 is not a very large team, so the difference in content released + the time it takes makes... sense, in my opinion?

Making games is hard. If anything, it seems like many people downloading it arent aware its a beta / arent familiar with what a beta is, which maybe could be clarified in the steam / switch listings lol

Hot take; they should patches focusing on certain aspects of game play to help with bug issues. Example: friendship patch, which only adds new friendship items and the side stuff would be fixing the issues that are on going. The next patch could be Furniture sets, they add new furniture, and again as a side part fix bugs that are ongoing. I like they try to offer everything in one patch but I feel it's causing more harm then good sometimes. It's a beta I'd rather wait longer to test content then have a patch with unplayable content from months ago... Again hot take forgive me in advance

I am grateful to Palia for existing; it really does have so many wonderful features. I love the voice acting, the graphics, and the fact that we can see through our house windows (which isn't a feature in some of my other favorite games). I hope they are successful, and able to grow enough that they can add new areas with new characters.

I have stopped playing very often recently, primarily for a relatively strange reason: there is something about moving around in Palia that is different from the other games I play. When I am playing Palia a lot, moving around in other games makes me dizzy, and vice-versa. I can either play other games, or I can play Palia. So, I am currently playing other games, and waiting for Palia to gradually add enough content that I will have a lot to do when I finally get back in the game. I sincerely hope they succeed, though!

Might be worth letting them know this or at least talking about it in the accessibility channel. They've always had kind of extreme movements for some reason. When it first released you could run reaaaaaaaaally fast and the characters would bop up and down really noticeably. They slowed down the characters and then they added a different more side to side running, which still looks a bit extreme compared to other games? Not sure if it is comparatively or not, but it definitely feels that way

I agree with one caveat: I'm on Switch, I started Palia on Switch, and had I not come here I would never have known Palia is in beta. So, they 100% should have mentioned that somewhere. (My guess is it would've prevented them from coming on Switch, and that's why they didn't, but I can't know and I still think it's something they really should have clarified no matter what.)

I understand that they have been relying on having big waves of new people join the game, but it still isn't really fair. Also notice that people who play the game and don't join the Discord don't really know that they should be reporting bugs and doing it in a detailed way with videos etc, they're just like "I sent the report when it crashed, guess it just doesn't run well on my system and I'll play something else now"

One of the biggest issues with switch (or console launches in general, imo) is that once you launch an MMO on that platform (assuming that different platforms play on the same servers), you no longer have the ability to push out quick hotfixes for things because you are now subject to the whole patch certification process for that platform (and servers being shared across all platforms means that your switch patching woes are now affecting your PC patching too, because they have to be on the same version, generally)
Game shouldn't have been pushed to switch so early, it's caused more problems than anything else imo

muujins being deleted from the game for a full month comes to mind, the only 'fix' S6 could do before their next scheduled patch was giving people muujin meat in daily login rewards

People had been bringing up concerns over the lack of transparency regarding the games' beta status since switch release
It's impossible to retroactively add the "Early access" label to a game on steam after it's been actually-released, but it should have at least been within S6's abilities to mention beta in the game name or description or something

Just the other day I spent 200k gold on my 8th plot, just because I wanted to test something and needed an empty plot to do it. I've made back nearly 80k of that in just a couple days.

Just keep playing any you'll come to find how meaningless gold in this game really is. I wish there was more to spend it on then just zeki coins.

I've been collecting seeds since the statue dropped.
I have 8 seeds, and nearly 100 flow trees fully grown.
I haven't used the method you're referring to at all.
It's only been a month. At this rate, in just a couple more months, I'll be able to grow 100 flow trees every week. With each one giving on average 4 flow, that's ~400 flow a week. I've no idea what I'd even do with that much flow. I'm already sitting on close to 1k of it as is.
Once home flow parties start to pick up steam, you'll be able to just join a group in the lfg-parties channel once a week and net ~100+ flow.

Flow wood will be in so much abundance soon, that people will just stop caring about single flow tree etiquette in Bahari.

That is so kind! But it is okay, I already closed the game and I have a decent amount of flow wood at home, just when I’m playing I try to go to the grove every time it spawns. I played today for 4 hours and it happened 3 out of 4 times so it was a bit absurd 😂. I guess I was just unlucky with not as friendly people in the server. and I absolutely get that people don’t want to wait too long but they just immediately chopped it down. I won't pretend I'm the average player. I am probably in the top 5% of people with this many trees. I have the ability to login to the game and water trees quire regularly, and I do. Probably far more than most could or even would want to.

I'm hoping to have a 15-20 person party to cut all of these trees down this week sometime. The rest of the player base will certainly catch up soon, and I'm sure such parties will become more common.

I'd like to do these regularly, but I'm planning on taking a break from this game for at least the next month, until S6 can fix the bugs that or preventing me from playing this game right now.

I believe I've found a consistent way to nearly maximize the gold value per storage unit. The only thing I could find that's more valuable is a starred Jasper (1200 gold) but those are difficult to acquire

there's a number of other gems that are more valuable as well as the star jasper - starred aquamarines (1200) and emeralds (1500), and both unstarred and starred* for sapphire(1500, 2250*), amethyst (2000, 3000*), and rubies (4000, 6000*)
but you're not wrong because they're all gems so they're all rng based, apples are consistent!

I asked this before already but the answer i got was sort of limited, i think this is a better channel.
Whats the best thing to do with the extra's of fish you have? People said gifting to Zeki (not what im after) or cooking for focus/money. But that latter answer is too limited. I'm after bulk-processing of fish, and what the best is. So if a recipe uses fish and its really good for focus, it would be a waste to cook something for minor gold gain, for example.

yeah im in the process of lockboxing ALL fish x2 and bugs x2 in my lockbox, dari cloves and thats pretty much it. Everything else can be crafted up, idc. And if there comes a time im gonna do a cooking party, my lockbox will likely be too full but meh.

This is why ive stopped doing cooking parties because i dont like their system. I dont want to have to put stuff away in a very limited storage lockbox just to prevent things from jumping around in menus

if you mean the edging around the path, those are gourmet butcher blocks, you can buy the recipe from reth and they cost 10 (!) sapwood planks each

of course! i can't actually remember if he sells you the butcher block recipe outright or if you unlock it by crafting furniture from the gourmet line. either way, you buy the gourmet furniture recipes from him, and if he doesn't have the butcher block you can just craft pieces of the set until you unlock it
