I'm really starting to dislike Grove time. Again... the never ending battle between the Grove Jumpers and the Grove Lecturer. Just jumped a server because I got tired of hearing it playing out in chat. Three times today I've seen this go on. I'm tired of everyone (including my own) list their grove "shoulds" and then expect that's how other people play the game. It's the same old same old and will keep happening, some day worse than others. It's not fun.

It depends on what stage of the game you're in. I believe tomato is best early game b/c you get multiple harvests. Lots of experts in #🌱│gardening can steer you to the best crop yeild for what you have available!

They don't take up storage, not sure if that helps but in case it does - you can drop them in your lockbox or normal storage and it doesn't make a difference in how many things there are.

They don't take inventory space in your lockbox or storage chest. For example, you can have one lockbox which is limited to 100 items. And you can, if you want to, but 100 carrots in there, fill the lockbox with them, and then add 100 more chests.
In your backpack, they do take one spot, since there you're limited to a certain amount of item stacks, not a certain amount of items.

Furniture is unlimited storage, so having the ability to sell them or recycle them is open to exploit, such as storing infinite Furniture for gold

Once something has resell value, it'll have to take storage space to balance it and prevent hoarding for infinite wealth

But to make Furniture take storage space now would be devastating for a lot of people, so it's unlikely that Furniture will ever be resold for value

I have one of my plots filled with furniture im not using instead of keeping it in my storage. I had an issue with logging on many patches ago because of too much furniture in storage. So the furniture is all on the other plot divided by the type it is.

y'all...i am actually begging for s6 to please add more things to spend renown on. or make us claim achievement rewards manually (maybe only if we're capped on renown, or as a toggleable option, to avoid it being an annoyance for people who would rather not have it)

i'm actually so salty right now because i just accidentally got an achievement that gave me 100 renown...and my renown has been capped for weeks

i realize it's not ACTUALLY limited, because you can still fulfill requests and stuff for micro amounts of renown...but the major sources of renown are limited, there's not really a way to farm it like there is with gold

Twitch Drops: They gave the palcat rugs different names than last time, and they mixed up the drop weeks. We get the "mat" (aka large rug) this week and the "pattern" (aka face) next week.
Paltech: S6 snuck in the crafting recipes for two new paltech items, but they can only be unlocked via inspiration. Since most players already crafted all the previous paltech items, there's no way for them to unlock the two new craftables: Paltech Radio and Paltech Wall Lamp.
Other news: we're all still various shades of bothered by the layoffs. Pretty plants and gardens.

TBH, I'm all for them adding in more furniture to sets, but ideally you'd be able to pop inspiration by just recrafting any piece, even one you've made before

the 2 paltech items were always meant to be part of the inspiration tree and were also mentioned in the patchnotes when paltech got added (probably added by now bcs they were missing)

they are now fixed, they won't just randomly add new items to the other furniture sets

and there will probably a way to craft the 2 other items for players that can't get them through inspiration, once the team is aware of the problem

Only way to fix it is closing the game completely or disconnecting and reconnecting my WiFi which boots me back to login. It’s annoying when I’m running around trying to hunt, fish, or bug hunt, and I wanna stop to sell stuff and it freezes every single time. Nothing else causes problems for me so I’m sure it’s gotta be a bug or something

Mine game freezes each time I engage something and everything locks up on the games window. Outside of the game I can type in here and what not and its fine. The 9 soil plot cap makes my eye twitch. I have my plots set up 4 x 4 (36 squares) because they lock in nicely and you can stand smack in the middle of the 4 soil plots and reach all the corners to fertilize and plant seeds. So I have 2 plots like that and then a single dinky 1 soil plot (9 squares) that's just off to the side. I really wish they'd revisit the soil cap and let us buy 3 more so I could round this out.

I reached out to support and had to provide a screenshot of every paltech recipe I owned. In the end, support wasn't able to help (which is what I thought, since recipes arent easy to give out). This was their response:

We have received similar reports from other players facing the same issue. I am going to forward your case to our development team so they can look into this and find a long-term fix for this issue.

While I can't give you any specific timeframe on when this will be resolved, rest assured that they are working hard to fix this as soon as possible.

I used them all for this tree wall around my property.

When all was said and done, I had 70 left. I just placed the remaining 70 trees in the bottem right corner.

Counting up the other trees I have on my property is about 45.

Personally I'm not upset about it. Sure I got the vent but because quite a few claimed it and got a vent they were able to stop people from claiming and bringing attention to that bug. I think they realized just how many people got the vent and decided it might be easier to just send it all out instead of individually sending one to the people who got vents. like the pipeline of how these get sent out at the very least needs to be: Twitch sends out information that user x has gotten this reward > the server get this > processes > sends items out to user x. (note this is super simplified and no way reflects their system) but it feels like at any of those steps there would be some form of logger since they use stuff like grafana and Prometheus.

and if they log this they should be able to look up these logs and see who didn't get what.

I think it needs more content outside of quests, like repeatable things that can keep people engaged even when their is a quest drought. Decorating is that for some people, or completing the achievements but there isnt really that many yet and some are less fun more grindy (which I like but its not for everyone)
