if you're in EU, EU servers are experiencing problems with the store/lunar paths/etc. they know and are working on it.

for auni, if you see his icon on your compass, walk over to it and see if he's glitched into the ground, you may be able to get the interact prompt to pop

Well, I am very very disapointed in this update so far. Tooo many glitches and crashes. I am beginning to think S6 does not have enough or qualified testers before they push stuff to production. Every push they do ends up breaking something else or being broke itself. I love this game, but very disheartened. Still cannot talk in chat, going on 7 months now, having issues with fast travel and cannot ride the dang horse. Plus there are sooo many areas on this new map you cannot even get too. Such as the cliffs all over the middle of the map. Cannot climb soo many cliffs, which was so much fun in other areas. So very saddened

You should be able to use Unstuck to exit and then talk to Auni when he’s in his Treehouse instead to complete the quest

Yes those drop the masks. The jackcats and...deer guys both can (I think). I was hunting in a party so I could have mixed up my bags but I believe both creatures do.
