Just to make sure, you’re aware that the rewards will show up in your news tab? Sometimes it may take a bit of time for the rewards to show up though, but if they haven’t showed up after a couple of days, I would submit a ticket to player support

Hey, I’m new to the game and I’m almost at level 4 relationship with an NPC. What I wanna know is if the mentor actually affects anything in the game or not, like if it’s a super important choice or just whatever

You'll get a cut scene with them, and they'll occasionally come to your plot to start an event quest or similar, but otherwise, currently, it doesn't affect much.
Not sure how it will affect future content in the game though!
I would say take your time with it and pick someone you do like, as there's currently no way to change your choice

Is there a known issue with pet cosmetics?

Ever since I 'retired' my two favorite Goobis, whenever I use them as my equipped pet it appears as a default red Goobi on my partner's screen. On my game it shows correctly, but for other users it seems to be default. 🥺

Have you confirmed with more people than just your partner if it shows up as the default goobi for them? Cause it could just be an issue on your partner's end if it only shows as default for them

I switched to a different Goobi that wasn't retired and the appearance showed correctly.

Then I unretired my two favorites and their appearance showed properly so there seems to be a potential issue with cosmetics tied to retired animals. 🤔

I don't have any friends other than her to test with but it seems to be pretty conclusive.

If you already maxed their romances and did the quests, you would have received the portraits. You should check your storage chests (including locked) or review plots you have.

If you've broken up with them, yes you'd have to re-romance them, but you wouldn't be able to receive the quest gifts again, as far as I know.

If you feel like you're missing the portraits, you'll need to contact player support for more assistance.

I've purchased both available from the potion shop already, have completed offerings to ALL the Umbraan Shrines already, and have completed the "Like A Shiprunt" quest. I have also thoroughly checked my locked & unlocked inventories 300 times, all I own is x1 Finishing Runestone. Am I missing something, or is this a glitch I need to submit a ticket for?

Triple check all your chests, especially your lockbox. But if you have done all shrines and the above quest, you should have had it?

I'd recommend doublechecking you got the shrine at ||G1||, that one gets missed sometimes, and make sure you look through your chest without using filters or the search function. If you have then you likely will need to send in a support request.

In the overhead H menu click the gear next to the name of the plot. There’s a tab for customization and the mailbox is there.
Also you can chop the broken sign to get rid of it but then it’s gone forever. No way to repair it or get an unbroken one. And no way to get the broken one back, even on new plots you unlock.

You might need to complete a quest to get access to the board

Players gain access to the Bulletin Board through an introductory quest. After completing construction of their first house or house add-on, a Villager will visit the Player's Housing Plot to introduce the feature - You should have a button that lets you interact with it if you've done this. :)

There's only one size of the alchemist/estate rooms. But when you connect them you can open up the walls to make bigger rooms. Also, Alchemist Cottage A and B were not any different, so you haven't lost out on something--they were just base rooms with a bunch of add-ons. All of the add-ons are available to craft after completing the path as well, so you can still make a cottage A or B.

Regarding the Einar stones mission, how often do they appear in oysters? I've opened over 400 and haven't found any. Do I need to do something to make them appear? It's been so frustrating.

It's all RNG. Some people have opened more than a thousand before finding the pebble. It's very frustrating. (I still haven't found it.)

They don't all come from oysters, you find them around the world

There's only one that drops from the oysters, it's about a 1:1000 chance like picklemommy said. If you're really driven to get it you can collect 1000 oysters, open them all at once, and if you still didn't get it, contact support with proof (screenshots/vid of you opening them) and they'll help you out

That is a common issue, you can change servers so the waveback will spawn again.

There will almost always be a Ogo stuck on that rock in every server.

your rods hp goes up as you upgrade it, as for the fishing itself, reel when the brackets are green, stop when they are yellow or red, you can use the different fish dish and hook buffs to help you in the reeling part, other than that really, its just down to practice and persistence

Great! Then you are eligible to buy the recipes for the Standard and Fine Fishing Rods from Einar. From what I understand, fishing in Palia is not very accessible. Just remember, you are moving the safe zone (brackets) left to right. The fish is moving the bobber. Keep the safe zone around the bobber while reeling it in. Once the hook hits the water, the fishing rod is decoration. One thing for me is that I nudge the safe zone, rather than actively chase the bobber.

Okay that's good, furni level is def high enough. My last suggested before a support ticket, would be to shut down Palia completely and resync your system's date and time. On switch, this would toggling your "synchronize clock via internet" button in system settings

After the resync (toggling that button on and off for switch), load up Palia and see if anything changed for you. If not, you'll need to file a support ticket.

Hii! I was wondering if there's any sort of easier-ish way to find the Heartdrop lily in Bahari? I've been using dowsing rods and hitting the usual hotspots, but I've not been able to find anything yet Is it strictly based on chance, and it's respawn rates? ^^

the issue is there is a max of 1 heartdrop lily per server at once, and once it despawns after being picked, there is quite a long cooldown before another one can spawn. (i think it's like... 30 mins? an hour?) so server hopping may help but the best ways to get them in bulk are buying them from ashura's foraging guild store or requesting them.

It's just RNG, no tricks. I haven't caught one yet either and I've been playing for quite awhile now. You can try using an Angler's Potion to boost your luck but it doesn't really make that big of a difference unfortunately. I just stock up on a bunch of glow worms, fisherman's brew, fish stew & major size booster hooks, find a good spot at the dock or deep woods & pray

I fish pretty frequently and have still never caught one, so I can't even imagine how many hours that person had to have put in to get over 100 star maws as decoration

my memory's a bit fuzzy but to paraphrase what i remember, reth says ||he's not the right person to ask because he just bottles up his grief and hopes it goes away. ashura says he's not the right person to help an umbraan child because of his past and suggests asking reth or tish. so it seems like you're forced to ask tish to do it. (you could also ask chayne but i'm not sure what he says)||

at some point someone will probably add a quest page and all the dialogue to the wiki so you might be able to read the other options there in the future

The fishing spots around the dock are very glitchy, it's not a you problem, don't worry. Some hotspots are basically fully unreachable. If you find some of them keep throwing your rod back I'd suggest just ignoring them and moving on to the next spot

Blinking means it's going to despawn. Items like the ore, flowers, etc will despawn after a player picks them after an X amount of time. But items also respawn (not necessarily in the same spot) after an X amount of time too.

I've noticed the past few days that sometimes when I'm fishing, the fish don't show up highlighted yellow. I also notice that when this happens, my bobber appears to be the default one instead of the one I have equipped. It doesn't happen all the time, though. I was just fishing in the EW and it was doing it, but when I returned to my plot, fishing was normal again. Just wondering if this is just me, or if others are seeing this, and also if it's been going on for a while and I only just noticed it. (And yes, I'm going to submit a bug report.)

For fishing, you can speed things up by fishing in the underground for the speed buffs. For mining, mine in node-dense areas like bahari and kilima instead of EW. For hunting and bug catching, same thing, do those in areas with dense spawn points or use honey lures

Want to know the fix? I went on the palia website under tech and troubleshoot network. I have windows 11 so i edited the DNS setting for Ipv4 to the recommended one palia tech had listed. Then i disabled ipv6 ...wala im now in the game.

Keep in mind that some Windows services expect you to be using IPV6. And while IPV4 is widely used, a lot of ISPs have transitioned to IPV6 making some IPV4 users completely unable to use the internet.

From what I found online, everyone having the beacon issue said that restarting their routers didn't do anything. Basically everyone said that nothing they did helped but the issue resolved itself after a while. I personally suspect that whatever was going on with their network resolved itself at the same time the ipv edit happened so it seems like that fixed it

It’s a stubborn bug that affects rooms connected to a hallway. Try changing the shape of the opening to the hallway. If you can move the affected room to another socket, apply the wallpaper there and move it back. You can also ask the posters in #🏡│decor for ideas.

Okay good! If you have Cozy Camp Canopy unlocked, and are wondering if Snowy Pavilion is still in the loot piles, it may be best to write into player support to ask for assistance on this matter.

If you were actively playing in the winter update and after they pushed the hotfix for the snowy recipes, as one of the other players mentioned -- you should have gotten that remaining snowy recipe as your first looted item from the pile after the hotfix went out for it.

For your support ticket, it would be good to show a screenshot of cozy camp canopy being unlocked in your workbench, and then let them know you were playing after the winter season/update hotfix was pushed for these recipes but you never received it.

They may be able to assist you further with getting the recipe.

You need to donate artifacts to the Elderwood Bundles to receive FunBucks. You dig up artifacts two times daily in the Elderwood loot piles.

You then use these FunBucks at the Eloisa store in front of the Elderwood bundles to buy relic recipes/schematics

You then use these schematics at the relic crafting tables, which are to the left of the Elderwood bundles station.

Your crafted relic will be in your quest gear slot. You will upgrade each relic to Tier 4 over time. You continually buy the schematics at the Eloisa store.

Bugs are very common with new quests so that's probably why then. Maybe the image will end up updating in a while But you did complete the achievement, it's just the image that's bugged out. I have the same with one of my achievements.

Very rarely the glider ends up in your storage instead of in your wardrobe, so check that. If it's not in there I suggest restarting your game

Ive gone to the digging sights in order, and for the fire one it glitched and now I cant get the item from that specific quest. I have the one from the water and air temples but the fire one is glitched and I cant dig there anymore. I was able to pick up things when I did it but it never picked up the story quest item.
