Are you eating Fish Stew, Fisherman's Brew, Sushi, Sashimi, and/or Trout Dinner? All those foods provide a boost to a prt of the fishing mini-game.

One possible workaround is for her to leave any community she's a part of. Just have her write down the community name and officer names, so she can ask to rejoin when S6 makes a permanent fix. Taking decor items out of storage and placing them on an empty Housing Plot can help with not being able to leave her plot.

What machines are you playing on? On PC, you hit the O key to bring up the Social Panel. Once there, click on the Friends tab, select your spouse, and if you are friends, click the button that looks like 2 antiparallel arrows to invite them to your server. On the Switch, press the + button, then Friends to get to the Friends tab.

when you visit via the green board, you’re touring an instance of someone’s plot that they put up for viewing. they won’t be there, you can’t fish in their pond or cook with them, etc. you’re there to see what people have built and react to it. this will have the reactions hotbar.

if you visit a friend’s plot directly, they will be there, you can interact with them (like chat and cook together, etc.), but you can’t react to it. if you want to react to a specific plot, go to the green board and type the person’s username in the search. blue board is for visiting people.

Those are skins, including the glider skin. I'm not sure where you put them on. Glider skin you can do in wardrobe I think, you can try opening collection see if the rest is there

For the flipping it only seems to bust you when you go past even a little early seems to work okay

Here's a secret about chopping. You don't have to chop every line, but you have to chop on a line. I tested skipping every other line last night. For flipping, I think there are 2 speeds. It's the same for particular steps in a recipe, so it's not variable. So for the faster one, I click when it hits the space a bit before the target.

if you’re into the storyline, i’d finish it before going into the new zone. if you’re more into the gameplay aspects (like the actual skills), i think venture into there, although exquisite tools are recommended.

i must also say, i don’t recommend speedrunning the game! you’ll run out of content quicker than you think. just something to keep in mind since it can go months between content updates (and even those can be pretty minimal.)

have you checked in your ammo tab to confirm the bait number isn't going down? if you have multiple stacks of bait, sometimes what happens is the number under the fishing rod doesn't go down because it's showing the value from one stack of bait while consuming worms from a different stack

You are controlling the green brackets, moving it left and right. Keep the bobber within the brackets, while reeling in the fish. If it jumps out of the water and you hear a chime, stop reeling it in to preserve rod life. Ignore the rod, it's just decoration.

So you wanna make sure its starred and of uncommon rarity.

Luckily focus food isn't a requirement for anything. Just speeds up how quick you level up skills. Currently all that matters is level 10 in each as far as functionality and tool upgrades, and that's easier to grind than when delilah needs to me grind up more spices!

If you mean Elderwood Wall Shelf, that is found in the Elderwood as an interactable furnoshing. You exchange the infected items for it.

cooking parties, cakes are good but there’s some new foods as well i heard, worm/glowworm farms, preserve jars, seeders. you get all these as you level up skills and they become available for purchase from the skill person.

starstones from mining, i heard taking epic fish and grilling or using them in some meal (idk which) can be good too

i just usually sell what i don’t need or throw extra hunting into my glow worm bin. but i don’t play a lot for making gold just things i seen around :) dunno if much changed since update

you’ll figure out what you wanna keep and sell etc, also a head up some star stones are used for bundles so can keep, also if you are into decor anything that’s stared (besides ingredients) can be used as decor on plots so you can toss them down to free up space

yea you’ll get a mail from hodari for the pickaxe (and related skill ppl for each tool) when it’s available for upgrade.

if your tool breaks while doing something it will downgrade so make sure to watch for that or you have to reget the materials to upgrade again

theres a tool repair at sifuus so even if you dont have the recipe or materials to make your own on your plot you can always go to sifuu

Empty the hopper and the output bins, then cancel the stuck job by clicking the X on the right. You may have to put the crafter in your backpack to reset it.

You can buy recipes for fishing rod upgrades when you hit certain levels in Fishing. Einar will send you a letter, when you unlock them. To upgrade a tool, go to your worktable to find the recipe.
