for me, gardening and hunting are my go to in making money, with gardening you just water crops and while you wait for them to grow, you can go out and hunt animals to pass the time

some people would attend cooking parties in order to make as many food as possible, usually food, with other players

i think some do require specific meats, some just need any muujin/sernuk/chapaa meat. definitely a misleading (but kinda funny ) bug!

like i don’t think you can use anything but sernuk in sernuk noodle stew? or non-chapaa in chapaa tacos? it gets worse with the more complex recipes (like iirc muujin bahari requires both chapaa and muujin meat), but if you’re hunting enough to have all three readily available, it shouldn’t be a problem!

if your max storage is 10K + 300 for lock box, that is what’s currently available. there might be some storage upgrades with the elderwood update, but we don’t know for sure.

yee, you can buy the upgrades at tish’s store (i think it’s the register in the furniture store, not the store you get when you talk to her. it’s wherever you buy all the storage upgrades.) 10K and 300 are the maximum limits for storage and lockbox.

you can also keep stuff in your crafters though! i keep a bunch of wood and ore in my crafters, they hold like 100 of each material and just don’t make planks/smelt. it’s a huge storage saver.

(i might have which store it is backwards, haven’t done storage upgrade in ages!)

not really. i always keep a few of everything (star quality and not) just in case it comes up. specific animal drops like that might be weekly wants if you’re still friendship questing villagers. but they can’t be used for anything other than gold atp. you get an achieve and its accompanying furniture piece for getting a star quality version of each of the epic animal rare drops, but… as of now, no reason to keep.

i keep at least a couple of star quality everything in storage! and non star quality. some for requests, and i can free up storage space by putting star quality bugs and fish on my plot, even if i dont plan on using them in my decor.

Can you try to sync your device time and date again via internet.
and if you have storage chests on other lots, remove those and keep storage chests only on one plot. Just a couple things you can try and see if that helps.

Ok, if synchronizing your computer’s time like Huntress suggested doesn’t work, try switching to another Housing Plot. If that doesn’t work, quit Palia. Then if you are using Steam or Epic, use Task Manager to close those completely.

One vote per plot a week. The event starts Monday least till Sunday when we get our rewards. So you can vote for a plot once in that week, but you can change the vote at any time. What confuses most players is that the vote you left doesn't stay visible for the whole week

you can also request some, but they are fairly cheap to purchase

Personally, explaining this one in words is a little difficult because it’s hard to pinpoint without a map. I would recommend watching a playthrough and doing it that way if you’re still struggling. unlike hot pot, where you try to make your matches or suits, spam pot is grabbing and discarding cards as quick as you can in order to end the game when the rounds run out… It is believed that you will gain more tokens for everybody foregoing actually playing the game by spamming /hitting your SPACE BAR if on pc or the equivalent on other controllers
You can choose to ignore, find a regular table , and actually play hotpot at your pace. Spam pot is just a way to “speed run” this mini game

actually best to hold onto as many non star (regular crops as you can) as when you reach lvl 25 gardening all one gets is star crop, so sell most of the star crops, turn into seeds and sell those. Keep a few for cooking always

once we reach lvl 25 and require regular crops, we resort to buying them at badruu farm register, apples and blueberries do your best to harvest and keep as many regulars as you can.

rest of crops apart from apple, blueberries and peppers, those can be bought for coins

Does anyone else have issues with fertilizer being used up at an irregular amount? I use harvest boost on the two blueberry bushes in the front of this plot. I just put 100 on each of them. I just did the harvest and replant, and the one on the right returned 92 fertilizer but the one on the left had none. It's happened multiple times, always with the same position blueberry.

You will need to upgrade your axe to "Fine" by leveling up your foraging skill lvl 6 to chop flow tree that are small, medium & large in size require the help of others, however you can chop the extra small flow trees that are saplings found anywhere (more in kilima still rare to spot) with your beginners axe, (you will need the help of others, or at least one other person to chop large trees even with an exquisite axe) otherwise yes, play in party with a friend and loot what they chop fl also , you will be able to obtain recipe for flow wood planks after reaching lvl 7 foraging with ashura, you will unlock this recipe and can buy it to craft ft planks at your sawmill.

nb: with a fine axe - you chop small trees alone, if you keep hitting the tree fast enough.
medium and larger trees chop with assistance of one or more people.

however with an exquisite axe - you will be able to chop medium trees alone with repeated hits as the flow tree regenerates health fast, so much easier with another person always.

once you level up in foraging lvl 8, you can obtain a recipe for dowsing rod and craft this tool, use it to locate flow trees easier and yes you can flare and call for help on server etc.

many people call out flow trees when they spot them and every 12am game time, at bahari there are flow tree groves that are called out

that is the best way to get an abundance of flow tree wood

Depends there’s two ways for this, some people use palia maps if you’re on pc it could be downloaded and basically map shows you what fish is going to spawn before it even bites or the other way is you wait until the fish spawns and just let it go don’t catch it as in don’t even reel it in as this would use your bait and in this case your bait won’t be used. I hope I made sense. Basically if you’re low on bait it’s a good way to do it.

you can look at your quest log. do you have any main story quests left?

If you have access to the bundle room slots then you have completed those first temples. Then there is an additional quest line related to those temples you get some time after that. A combination of this check and mogikarps should help you confirm that.

You can also check the list of main quests at ( https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Category:Main_Quests ) to see if you are missing any. They have a simple previous / next link to help track quest stages if you appear to be part way through a chain of quests.

Hey all - question about the chaapa race. Im having issues getting more than 3 or 4 chaapas at the event for Maji Market. Whats happening is im running towards one to interact with it (ive even spammed interact) but someone who is further back and not as close is somehow picking up the chaapa. This continually happens. I've asked in local chat a few times and i just get the "be faster". However I don't know what im doing wrong or if it is a setting somewhere to be able to pick them up from a greater distance? The people picking them up are much further behind me and not close to it. Im kinda at a loss on what to do and its getting really frustrating running around chasing them.

Is there any way to make a + shaped house out of five large rooms? I was sure I did it a year or two ago, but can't for the life of me get it to work now. Keep getting socket errors. Any way to do this, or am I just boned?

Still throws an error, no matter which rooms I place first, with or without the Harvest house as the bottom spoke of the + sign. If I do the two vertical first, nothing can go on the sides, and if I do the three laterally, then the last can't go on the top side I end up with either a | shape or a T shape.

It can be annoying. I always used to just run around and spam the pick up key when I am going towards the chapaa .. sometimes I got lucky sometimes I didn't. But you get the community bonus for taking part whether in a group or not so just do what you can. Depending on how busy it is when I have done it, I can get between 5 chapaa and 25 chapaa personally. But of course the offset is that more people in theory means more in total, so , the community wide bonus would be better even if your individual count is low. For example, the image attached is from my last chapaa run back in January.

if you got 2 harvest houses place the one you want in a space, with the 2 large rooms at the top, then place another harvest house somewhere, show a large room attached to that, then drag the large room off that one to the middle large room (must be the same side, so left > left, or right > right)

hmm I don't think I have tried cross format housing But as long as you have a large room as the center room you should be able to create a cross with large rooms if you have maybe one hallway to separate the new buildings from the center building enough for the corners to not overlap.

Yeah, it's awkward, the harvest house is technically a large room, so the center room will likely cause overlaps in the corner. Now if you had harvest house then large room as the center with medium rooms for the other 3 sides, in theory that would work as they are that bit smaller to not have the overlap on the corner

Through steam you can choose directory and where you would like it installed, For the official client, you will need to select "advanced options" before you download, & change the directory from that point, I personally have palia on D drive not my main "c" but both are "ssd", so games run fast.

so I'm a little confused about housing plots. when I go into the housing menu (H) it has "default slot", "new slot", "new slot" and "+ new plot". I don't know what any of these mean! do these cost anything? what is the difference? I'm lost.

the "default slot" and "new slot"s are plots that you already own, you can buy more slots other than the default amount of owned slots (hence "+new slot"). different slots are basically more plots, once you purchase writs (to expand the size of a plot) they apply to all of your slots. you can use more plots for different things. for example, one of my slots is for my main house, another is for my workshop related items like my smelter and sawmill, and another is where i grow trees and flowers. there's a decor limit on every slot (3,000) that's independent to the plot the decor is placed on. hope this helped!

Ysee as long as you don't pull in or loose your line, the fish will keep re-spawning and keep re-biting your line and even keep the star quality- so you could do what I do and grab someone to help you reel it in

I have just made a new character as a friend created an account and I saw that the start of the game was different. I had wanted to enjoy the new introductory gamplay but my character got old gamplay. I did not get the joint dialogue with hekla/jina & Ashura/Hodari at the same time. Because you only have one true set, set of noodles. To make a set you have to have 3 same or 3 all different cards in the same color. So for blue one you would make a set if you had another crab claw instead of a fish (3 same) or a shrimp (3 different). Not a random combination of 2 and 1

gifting NPCs have gifts they like/love and hate, each item has friendship points boost, therefore each increases your friendship and fills the bar each time.

Sometimes things can glitch outside the boarder so maybe change plots and search each one even the boarders and it helps if you got different styl like the fall or the tower one. If you cant find it ask the support they can remove it and place it into your chest again

Make sure you have the Fabric Loom - Recipe can be purchased from the Furniture Guild Shop. Once you've reached Furniture Making level 2, talk to Tish and access the Guild Shop for the recipe!

Leather is made from 1x Sernuk Hide - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 2 for 100 Gold.
Fabric is made from 2x Cotton - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 2 for 50 Gold.
Silk is made from 5x Silk Thread - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 6 for 1,500 Gold.

Or you can even buy the leather/fabric/silk directly from Tish's store! (Look for the cash register)

No worries. Well that depends. If you need copper and silver, you can find it only in kilima, if you need iron and gold or palium only in bahari. But mining is pretty simple,wherever you go you'll find ores. Look around like hills or on top that's where they spawn

It's one of the few things from the Guild Shops that does actually function in game.

The "Kilima Roofs" are available at the City Hall Store. Have you checked the wiki for all the roofs? Maybe its available from somewhere else

So I know raising gardening level past 10 is valuable because each level grants extra 2% chance for star quality. But if there a list of buffs other skill levels grant that make it valuable to raise them past 10?

That’s really interesting, it sounds like the issue might lie with your account? Because non-starred ruby is 3,500 and a starred is 5,250 but yours is exactly in-between that number! The median of 3,500 & 5,250 is 4,375 which is what yours is at. So yours is basically pricing it as if it were something in the middle of being starred and non-starred

It sounds like some glitch and the game might have gotten confused on whether or not to star yours?

You can either sell it as it is and cash the extra you got from it or maybe if you report it to support they might just honor it and give you a star since the game got it mixed up?

well, we don't know if other bonuses might be added in the future, so it might be worthwhile keeping focus up just in case. it's not that hard to keep your focus full after the very early game (focus food parties, preserves, or just making simple recipes)
