it is put on the wall, not really floating by itself. when multiselect, the group kinda of inherit some character of the handle piece, e.g cup/rug/shelf/builder pieces. In this case, the block can go on the wall itself. + you'd notice, pillar/block/floor /wall, each gives different distance to the wall.

Shelf would be used for sinking though. As multiselect will take the lowest piece as handle piece, shelf is used to rotate the group upside-down, so the highest piece become the lowest.

It should work. you can also try attaching the floor to the wall directly. I think It's more about the front/back wall of harvest house, not the shelf.

I get this bug every time I've been on an Aurora Landscape. It usually happens within 5 to 10 mins after being on one, either my own, or one through the tour boards. If I play without visiting one, it never happens. Visit a plot with the Aurora Landscape... boom, not long after the White Screen of Blindness. Logging off is usually my only recourse. Now I just automatically log out/back in after visiting one of those plots to control it.

Behind the market are the Snoezy animals and the greenhouse/veggie garden.

Entering the house next to the veggie garden, you’ll find the kitchen. From there you are lead to the courtyard garden and the private quarters 🔮🖼️

I found out that the wall decor that was added with recent update blends nicely with industrial wall decor so if anybody wants you can do it like i did it :3

Have an item in your hot bar so you can cancel placement then take the blue candle move it away but instead of placing it you cancel it by pressing the number the item in your inventory is in. Try out the flower vase back and reload your plot

it's a DIY planter, it looks like. it's a bunch of wooden pillars made into a rectangle using the shelf/rotation trick, and then filled with flowers gotten from catching bugs/watering them for seeds/buying from auni for bug medals

The distance u drag the present to the spot you cancel will be the distance away from the lantern when u add it on them. you can also use a shelf to angle items and drag to the spot u want it to float. I know a lot of items work but havent tested many wall items.

If you already have an item hooked to it you just do the same process, cancel the anchor and place another item on it.

I would reload plot when 1 anchor got to full so that when I pick it up again the lanterns would be floating somewhere else. (Idk if that makes sense to you 😅)

Also I used a floor item(for my anchor) and cancelation method.

If there are no grids, you won't be able to unless you glitch it or float or use building blocks. Now if there is a grid, try turning of the grid and place as usual. If there are permanent pillars or beams near the placement area it may not be possible even if there is grid. Try another item that will fit

You can't pick up the house only due to the nature of the rooms needed to be connected to the Grand/Harvest house, they can't be placed standalone without glitches.

Yes, the Yardwork Log behave differently after the second last batch and now unable to place anywhere except the ground, there's way around with glitches - Obstacles flicks and cancel move works

yeah, thats a PITA. Sometimes the white dominates even though it just shouldn't. I don't mind the brown too much, but that's only relevant in marbled Bellflower pieces I've also used some autumn when it makes sense. Hold on, let me show some examples

I did my livingroom in green, and my office in blue. I managed to use a lot as it was there, fortunately. I did make a purple/pink rug in the office though

They're mirrored on the other side. In the fan's case, I didn't like how it looked. Just plainly. Not bad, just not what I had in mind. If the lamps had been in classic, they were too eye grabby. making them in autumn made them more subtle, which I found I liked better than grabby lamps

Using food buffs sure helps, but to level up quickly you can also craft all the uncrafted recipes yet, they give the most xp

Besides, furnitures don't take up space in your storage, there's an unlimited storage for them And you get renown from crafting each set completely

Yeah... I would suggest to use food buffs until you reach lvl 10 in all skills. If you don't enjoy the focus thing you can totally quit it once you have 10.

Also did you do the renown thing at the phoenix shrine. that also helps

Hey guys, how do you all go about starting to design the outside of your house? Interior design is easy but land scaping is a whole new ball game. Any pointers on how I should even begin?

I was thinking of setting little areas then filling in all the pathways afterwards, or is it easier to just start as the entrance and fill everything in from there?

I try to think of a focal point and then work outwards, or create little sections for things (an area to bbq, an area to sit and relax, and outdoor kitchen etc)

I love the landscaping part of the game, with the trees you have so much you can do!

I'm not even sure what to do outside, so far my ideas for areas are a campfire scene, a picnic, a flower tea garden....and I'm stumped 🤣

hard to say but don't worry about that really, unless you go crazy with placing lots of individual pieces of fence or lots of flowers it's not hard to get everything you want in there

They should make bookstacks (piled up and side by side) so we don't take much of the limit putting books 1 by 1 to fill our bookshelves

It used to be just the same for me and then I kinda unlocked sth in my brain, good approach if u come from interiors is dividing the area outside. Use trees, flowers, screens, everything to make those spaces more "complete". What also was a big thing for me was finding a "project" like a treehouse to build. And u just slowly build around the area.

That's a great advise, I do the same for my outside I knew I wanted a little camping spot, some ruins, a sitting corner,... And worked around those, it was much easier that way Then you simply create some pathways between each spots

I float the bugs on a single anchor - wooden round paver, then cancel placement away a tree and positioned it as nicely as I could, I can make u a quick tutorial if u want

I'll probably just stick to working with these to things for this plot then try more advanced stuff for my next design
