I don't know, but I've had problems trying to arrange rooms the way I want. You can only do certain attachment points and I ended up having to use hallways and now have too many nooks and crannies and don't like the way it looks

though you can do activities like mining, fishing, cooking, etc together to help each other build up your skills

palia is basically a single player game with an occasional random person popping in now and then, not much in the ways of playing with others on a major scale

You can set them as an Editor to your plot which will allow them to help decorate it with you with items you have placed down already, as well as help weed/water your crops, use your repair station, help chop/water trees, contribute materials to additions you are building, use your crafting station etc.

You can also server sync to them once they are on your friends list and party up with them as well.

The potato pods don't show up on search if you type "potato" for ex. They all have names so scroll through your furniture tab and see if you find them there.
I think it works with "pod" 🤔 but not entirely sure. Idk if all of them have pod in their name.

That isn't how flares work. When you shoot a flare, it just makes a stream of colored smoke so that people nearby can see it and find whatever is flared. They don't show up on the compass or the map.

Not sure what you saw. The only things that show up on the compass is when you place a waypoint or when you use one of the tracking items (hunter's horn, ore compass, etc). Many players have been asking for flares to work the way you're describing since they were introduced, but that's just not how they function.

How do I unlock more decor recipes. Even after I craft one and then I get the options of what should I craft next it just stops. Are some things simply not craftable and I have to get them at Tish’s store?

Some furniture recipes are found through the Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay rummage piles, some are earned through the bundles at the Night Sky Temple, some are earned through questlines, many just through leveling up friendship with Tish then purchased through her Guild Shop, the growable set is through the party up feature, one set is purchased from the register in Kenli's office, some are at Zeki's register in the Underground etc.

Anything sold at Tish shop you will eventually be able to craft on your own. The ones in the Underground are the only items we can't craft. (other than the PalTech items down there)

Unfortunately there’s no way around having timed steps, even recipes on the grill have to be taken off within a short period of time.

Have a friend cook with you , that is the best way, that way while are occupied they can finish off the cooking, as long as you both participate in ingredients and helping , no one misses out on any food

You can collect tree seeds while out chopping wood that will drop randomly, then plant and water those on your homeplot.

Tree can be regrow with tree seeds, to get tree seed, you need to chop Medium and Mature Trees to have the Chance of seed to drop. Placing seed on your plot and water them daily to get them to grow.

Sure you can just right mouse click on it when under the housing menu in game, H key if on PC.

If you have other rooms attached to it, you will need to remove those first though.

The problem:

I launch the game on my switch and I have this reaccuring problem where when I go to interact with any of the Villagers/NPC's it becomes super laggy and if I select any of the prompts the game freezes (audio remains) but none of the controls work and I always have to manually close the game as it remains stuck but it doesn't crash which is strange.

Does anything I mentioned above make sense I can go into further detail if needed I just really want to play Palia again (I took a break, but want to come back)

There is... very little that can be done to help any of Switch's million issues. The the game runs better on Switch's internal memory than an SD card. Hey Nyx, if you're in PC the friends tab is the O key, and then from there the request tab is the middle one within that menu! Some tips

• there might not be anything there! Requests get fulfilled sometimes right away or someone like me with a ton of resources might have fulfilled a big amount at once. Try looking in the request tab in a couple different servers- go to bahari or kilima and see if someone needs something there
• if you're still having a hard time finding a request you can fulfill, ask in chat! Say something like "I'm on the quest so and so, and I need to gift a player something. Can someone request some sapwood or stone?" A majority of players know about this quest and won't mind helping you out on this!

If you don't have luck by later I'll be logging on and I can friend you and help you get that done

Save a couple of each, at least 2 are used in later game quests- specifically || things like bundles and late npc friendship quests|| and for sure save your starred ones as they're the rarest and can be displayed!

Yeah I only had 2 and I had planted them there aren't any on my storage or inventory. no biggie since they are commonish but if it had been my lunar flowers I'd have been mad

on that note do we know if the lunar flowers you can request are the seeds or the fully grown flower. I'd love to have more seeds

Nope the prompt was there and I hit control and was rearranging the fully grown flowers when I accidentally picked up one I had't harvested. not into my inventory but just to slide it around. when I came out of the build mode the prompt to get seeds was gone.

I just found a fix though. If I go into build and pick the one up that didn't harvest with G it gives me a seed instead of the plant

This is actually quite normal so far in this game, moving plants, trees whilst its ready to collect seed will set it back one watering cycle.. I have noted this for a very long time... once moved they require one more watering and they seed again. Odd glitch if you want to call it that , but it has existed for a long time.

Prize wheel at Luna market doesn't give out plush or decor, at least I don't think it does. The Naga Snake and mini maji are at the sign right in front of the chapaa corral and you buy them with tickets, and there's other decor in there as well.

I see, well that was confusing, from the initial explanation,, for me, however in this case this is no Bug, just an odd glitch we have in the game IMO , it has always existed as I explained.. & I personally would not expect a fix or change in the mechanics for this, as it has existed for as long as I can Recall.. Many would just collect the seeds prior to moving .. but in the case you don't then it sets it back 1 watering cycle.. Just need to avoid this if you want your seed immediately , otherwise , just place down the plant again, water once more and it will seed again. (Many don't notice too much as we all have so many flowers , trees & their seeds.)

if u only fertilize 1 out of 5 days its only a 1/5 chance for the buff to happen

I just realized the silver-winging it quest is marked as complete, despite me not being able to get to the final island, there is no other main quest active that's related to the gale temple but I think that means it counted the eggs in the nest as complete but then never triggered the next part of the questline

also "it takes a village" from Zeki is complete but still no air from the flowgate :(

I tried landing on the fans under the final island in hopes that it would teleport me back up to the final island when I fall off like some old posts from a year ago said, but I think this has been patched as I can't land on them I just phase through. The irony they would patch a way to speedrun or just simply get to the last part of the quest a different way but not actually fix the bug that caused people to resort to doing that lol

Like I want to solve the puzzles, play the game the way it's meant to be played-it's fun! It's only after hours of trying to complete this that I just want to get it over with. It is the most complicated and ambitious area I've seen so far in game which is great but to leave it unfixed for a year is just sad 😔

Are you holding it long enough? You have to fully complete the animation which takes a few seconds. Otherwise, might be bugged and I would suggest submitting a ticket. If you can add video to the ticket along with a detailed explanation, that would be great.

Dear all, do you also have this bug from time to time? Sometimes the tool (smoke bomb, bow, pickaxe) that you just had in your hand disappears. It was particularly annoying for me because I was hunting a rainbow butterfly and - poof - my smoke bomb was simply gone and I couldn't pick up a new one.
Workaround: Use the glider briefly and then continue running normally. Then you can pick up your tool again and actually have it in your hand again!
If someone has already posted this, please just ignore it. I haven't searched to see if anyone has already reacted to this bug. It exists since patch 0.188.

Leather comes from animal hide, fabric comes from cotton, and silk comes from silk thread obtained from rare bugs.

Are you talking about Get in My Belly (winning 1/3/7 hotpot games)? It’s usually easier to get a straight flush than a three-of-a-kind, unless you got a pair early on. Also pay attention to what the other players are throwing out so you can grab what you need from the face-up tiles.

it's the same as the puzzles in the temple of flames. ||you have to hit the signs on the front of the braziers in a particular order. the eggs are a clue to the order, you can look for these eggs scattered all around the temple... or you can just brute force the solution through trial and error, the braziers will light up when you hit them in the right order||

Cause if it's the latter it's just a matter of joining their server either by selecting that option in the friend tab or by being in a party with them since that keeps you in the same server (unless it's full). If you're talking about the housing plot then your friend needs their plot security set to "open" or "friends only" and all tou gotta do is go to the blue board on your plot near the exit to Kilima and find select your friend's name. Your friend does have to be at their plot for you to be able to visit

Yes, it only provides a seed once per real life day and you won't get the first seed until the day after you place the statue. Note that for it to provide Flow seeds, you have to have completed the quest The Gardener's New Oneness. And there's only a 25% chance that you'll get a flow seed each day.

You may have previously ask them and they rejected you. In order for a villager to be your Shepp, you must reach friendship level 4. If you accidentally asked them too early, the conversation option will be gone until you've reached the appropriate level. It may take a couple of in-game days for it to come back, but you should be able to ask them again.

I haven't played in a while, but I recently got back into palia and noticed that the way you switch to your next weapon has changed. When I try to change tools using the wheel, it gets stuck on the one I'm currently using, and I can't equip a different one. I have to unequip my current tool first to switch. You don't, not in the game at least. You can contact support and ask them to change it for you. I believe you can change it once in 6 months

Should i cut heartwood and flow-wood always into planks, or are there also crafting recipes, that use the raw logs of these wood-types?
I mean, there are some beginner furniture recipes, that use the raw logs of sapwood.

Another thing:
The recipe for petit fives wants one sugar.
I got one from zekis store.
But as i tried to cook it, the step on the stove said, i had no sugar left.
Why`?
I noticed, when i have not enough ingredients for a meal, the button for starting the production has a marker on it, to tell, that something is not right yet.
But at this try for petit five, there was no such marker.

Why does it than say, that everything is fine, when i have only one sugar?
This should be fixed, that it has to show a marker on the button, when there is only one sugar available.

T think, there should be an overall ingredients list in the recipes, and it has to check there to tell, if everything is ready.

hii im having trouble in menus and pop ups, i cant seem to be able to leave any menu they are just stuck on my screen? im on mouse and keyboard steam version

Sapwood are the trees in Kilima. You need planks/boards
Tissue is fabric I assume
Leather is Leather

How do I get leather, fabric, and silk?

Make sure you have the loom crafter - the recipe can be purchased from the Furniture Guild Shop. Once you've reached level 2, talk to me and access the Guild Shop for the recipe!

Or you can even buy the leather/fabric/silk directly from my store! (Look for the cash register.)

Leather comes from animal hide, fabric comes from cotton, and silk comes from silk thread obtained from rare bugs.
