I’m doing the paper planes quest right now and i don’t know how to get flow infused planks, silk, or leather!

flow planks are from flow trees, they show up in bahari as a chance when you cut down trees to regrow as one (you might find randomly) 12am server a grove will spawn with a loud hum noise so you run into the loudest direction or wait for server chat to call it out, make sure to hit all the trees, as you need 1+ ppl to help cut them down. silk are from bugs https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Silk_Thread here is a list but i usually get from mining in bahari and getting the ones that pop out

leather is from the sernuks (deer) and you would take your silk thread and hide to a loom which you get from tish iirc at 2, and turn it into silk cloth and leather

make sure to keep you tools repaired so they don’t downgrade too :D

oh and palium is purple ore found in bahari, but that you’d need a fine pick for as well

The default Glider is given as a reward from Najuma when completing the quest Like a Bird.

How to Use
Tap the jump button while falling to glide. Your Glider must be equipped to the Accessories bar in the Inventory menu.

I think fork is asking about the Amber Fossil. https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Amber_Fossil @fork If you've completed Trapped in Time, then you can put the Amber Fossil in your storage. It takes up no space. There's a bug where old quest objects can reappear. If you picked up Pine Amber, etc. those can be sold.

I hosted a cake party recently on my plot, and had placed down a lockbox for each of three stations. No one could access their lockbox inventory through them until I placed down a regular chest and they switched over to the lockbox storage through there. Is this a bug or are people not able to open lockboxes on other plots anymore?

you don't need to leave - but it's a good idea to scare away or catch all the other bugs to encourage more to spawn so the game rerolls the chance for a duskwing to spawn as many times as possible. they are pretty rare though, rarer than the "uncommon" in game rarity would suggest. honey lures are a good idea if you have access to them

Your best bet to catch the Duskwing is to place a honey lure in the spot where the circle is as close to 3 am as possible.

Thanks for clarifying. I’ve had my Shepp for a year at this point, and wasn’t 100% sure because I’ve seen several people claim they couldn’t ask Tish or Reth til 5. 🤷‍♀️

I wonder whether with Tish and Reth it's because both of their level 4 friendship quests require level 3 friendship with other NPCs (Zeki, and one of the Bahari family respectively), taht it delayed the completion of those quests long enough to reach the next friendship trigger

I understood that the decorations for each plot were independent and not shared, so each plot had a maximum limit of 3000 items. So why does a plot where I know I have nothing start with 104? Is this a mistake or am I wrong and you have a limit of 3000 for ALL plots? Thanks

there are some items that count for all plots, such as trees, rooms, crafters, chests, to name a few

its a rly nasty bug which they will hopefully fix soon

So those 104 are the rocks that are in the plot and that I haven't removed because I like how they look and they help me with the landscaping of my main plot, right? I hope they release a decoration that is like making that pile of rocks (12 stones = pile of rock)

Then try leaving the temple and coming back in. If you activated the flowgate to the island, that will make it easier. If those fail, you may have to submit a ticket. Good luck!

Loot, from hunting mining or bug catching stays there for 3-4 minutes. First pick on a dari cloves or heartdrop lily or an ore is around 3-4 too, it will start to blink once it starts to despawn, it will flash faster for the last 30 seconds. If you find palium ore and it's blinking it's no use to call it bc no one can get it that fast unless they're 100m away and read the chat in time, but if you find a dari cloves it's best if you call it and then pick it so players have more time for it

It's just RNG, so there's no real trick to it. Just use foods and attachments that provide fishing buffs so you don't lose it when you finally hook it.

Are you only giving weekly wants? I don't think that particular achievement counts those, just other gifts given.

It counts gifts that they accept, but don't ask for. I don't think romance gifts count either. So, for example Ashura wants grilled fish, Kilima catfish, flow-infused plank, and fisherman's brew this week, but if you give him chapaa meat, he should accept that and it would count toward the achievement.

Pretty much. They don't die or disappear or anything. Just sit there until you water them, or harvest them if they're ready.

Just a suggestion but have you fully completed the friendship questline to earn the reward? If you have multiple plots, maybe check each one, also, check both lockbox and standard storage boxes. If you have done these already, 100% put a support ticket in, you would need to send a screenshot of your friendship with Hekla also.

check his guild shop for the recipe if you havent already

Yes, you have to start from the same direction all the way across. In other words, if you are looking from outside the lot and start in the left corner to do one part... you have to do that same facing/direction all the time.

What I was told when I asked this question is that the game treats a tree as a tree - you don't have any better chance of getting an acorn (or pinecone or samara) from one you've planted instead of one in the wild. Just make sure you're cutting down adult or mature trees if you're looking for the seeds.

The Zeki hitbox is “off” him. Try above his head. Or stand at the side and target a metre or so infront of him /around him

No, I always take my time to look around for a minute so I can vote honestly before I move on. Except for the glitchy ones, I switch out immediately. Sometimes it happens if I try to view a specific home though.

Everything can be sold at zeki's (except furniture) if your shipping bin is full and you still have stuff to sell you can always go to zeki.

And for future reference yes Auni will take bugs. Everyone with a guild store will take they're representative items (basically you can sell mining and hunting items in bahari when Hodari/hassian are there )

Very annoying to have to wait 60 seconds waiting to talk to someone, but not game breaking, at least for me. From what I've seen Switch users seem to have the biggest issues getting things to load

Try powering down the Switch completely, not just putting it to sleep. Also do a “Check for corrupt data” through System Settings/Data Management. Check how much free storage space you have too.

Pretty sure your level has nothing to do with it. Its a relationship quest reward for like 2 of the characters if I'm not mistaken

to be more specific you can get blueberry seeds from ||badruu||'s lvl 3 friendship quest. or you'll get free blueberry seeds at lvl 8 gardening.

Yes, they are a little tricky to pick up. Try from the margin, remove any item that is in the way ( if an item is highlighted when trying to pick up the pile, remove it). Additionally if it's inside the house remove your flooring.

My fav is still the starred chili oil dumplings, if you have gotten that recipe from Reth yet. It's quick/cheap/easy to make and the only thing you need to purchase is the oil, the rest can be grown in your garden, hunted, foraged, etc. and it gives 525 focus.
