if your housing menu won't work at all, you could try /unstuck in chat, though it will respawn you at the front of your plot so you'll have to run back to your kitchen

they work like the mushrooms, sweet leaf, spice roots, etc now. so someone can hit it and then it will be on a 5 minute timer before the rock disappears entirely and respawns elsewhere

It is pretty annyoning when u start hitting the node and suddenly disappears. It happened to me twice shortly after the loging to the game after the latest update.

1. flare recipe is from hassian's guild store, you'll need to craft them
2. either put silk thread in your loom (you will need the loom recipe and silk recipe from tish's guild store) or buy silk from tish's furniture shop
3. you can get recipes to upgrade your watering can from badruu's guild store
4. you can either just sell or destroy it, or you can save it in your storage, the event will probably run again next year

p.s. the guild stores are the ones you access by talking directly to the NPC

That is a new feature. Nodes are now like forageables. They are on a timer, they will either disappear on their natural timer or because someone mined it. If someone mines it, it goes onto a three minute timer (you can tell by it glowing, faster the glow the quicker it will disappear). The natural timer is still in effect however and it can still disappear before the three minutes are up. They made flares last three minutes to match the time, but if they disappear before then it is slightly useless. Mine all nodes, don’t wait for others. Flare after if you use flares. If you wait you could risk losing it.

If I give someone something off their weekly wants list, and my character doesn't know it is a weekly want (but I do, from the wiki or the tracker), does it count towards giving someone a weekly want in the game?

I guess I could do the science myself -- measure the relationship level before and after gifting someone when I know and when I don't know for the same level of gift (liked vs loved).

You can give each NPC a gift once per real life day, and one of their weekly wants once per real life week

if you give them a weekly want and then try to give them the same one again that week, they won't take it, but they take all kinds of other things as gifts

Almost certainly, but I was getting temporarily disconnected on NA servers a lot yesterday. Sometimes it would just pick right back up within a minute or two without kicking me back to the player select screen, but sometimes it would make me log back in and wait. Those times, I usually had to wait in a queue of 2000+ Palians, which I can only assume means some game infrstructure went down hard and had to be rebooted and everyone that was using it was logging back on at the same time.

I don’t believe so. You can use food and lures and whatnot to make it easier to catch fish, and you can have others around to decrease the time it takes for fish to appear, but I don’t think I’ve heard of ways to make rare fish appear more often.

I think there was an issue at one point with a machine, not a worm one, where it was stuck on the first thing it was crafting, and when they canceled it and started over it fixed it. You could try canceling and see if that helps?

Or maybe it thinks you have ghost worms and fertilizer hanging out in all the slots and isn’t recognizing that they are empty? Have you tried storing them then placing them down again?

You cannot place your rooms like that. The thing in the way is the room corners that overlap.

You can have a long room, or a plus-shaped room made of large rooms. If you remove the connnecting doorway inbetween, it's almost seamless

Seems I did manage to pull it off, started to place that + shape, and having the unbuilt section on the corners of one of the houses, so it's technically 2x2, but we'll see if the walls are willing to work with me. It'll be done in about 2 hours half an hour so I'll post an update for anyone curious if it works

fish next to other people. It speeds up the process for each fish. Fishing easy fish will usually be quicker too, so don't use bait when you just want to level up, and save the bait for better fish or specific fish.

Aside from the Dragon and Phoenix Shrines, the only other renown content they added was the wallpapers at city hall. It's just inevitable if you have everything that you just sit at the 1K and all you earn moving forward is wasted lol
