have a look at settings, you can choose, how running is handled, like just by holding shift, tapping shift and it will last until you stop or use it as a toggle. Choose, what is most convenient for your play style.

Yes, just do other things until it's done. So far only 3 vaults/temples are available in the game (water, fire, air) so you can do those or level up your relationship or find other quests

Ok cool, I was hoping to see if it would maybe make a difference in the bug preventing me from sending friend request. Weird thing is that when I log in under my alternate account I have no issue sending friend request but under my main account I can’t send them.

It’s correct. I haven’t played any other games on my switch in ages. Both account are on my switch just under different profiles. It’s weird that the bug is affecting one and not the other. Is there a limit on how many friends you can have?

I wonder if maybe that’s the issue 🤔 I added a ton of people when I first started playing and I’ve hosted several cake parties.

The overflow gets sent to your storage at home, not deleted, so you can take advantage of that.

are duskwind butterflys ultra rare? i farmed like 70 bugs, even got the spoted mantis but i never saw even 1 of this, i played the game for quite some time and i find it strange that i never got 1 till now

yes for some reason they're a much rarer spawn than the spotted mantis, which is marked "rare" while duskwing is only marked "uncommon". it doesn't help they both spawn in such a small area. you should see one eventually if you stay there a long time and catch or scare off every other bug you see. you could also use a honey lure.

i think maybe bugs are divided into categories (like, ground bugs vs. flying bugs?) and some areas are weighted to have more of one category than another. maji's hollow seems to be weighted more towards ground bugs so perhaps that means there are a lot more opportunities for the mantis to spawn than the duskwing

Each recipe is "made" on a specific starting station. It is then occupied the whole time by the plate the finished food ends up on. So if the recipe also needs you to use that kind of station, you need to have a second one to work on. Every recipe so far is covered by having 2 of each station.

I meant lore wise, also there's an annoying game ending RNG to it, where an enemy spawns right when you have to slide, so either you shoot, slide, and get hit by a bullet, slide and get hit by a bullet, or run into the wall.

There's no way to survive, and if you choose shoot the enemy, it fires a bullet before yours hit it, so prefiring doesn't work either.

I'm trying to beat the highscore, and that keeps stopping me.

This is what I mean, that enemy is too close to the wall, so I can't dodge the shot.

Oh interesting, it has a highscore at the end when you lose, but its not a player highscore, its a preset score. Funny enough, on all of them, "TheLoneWolf" is #1 with 100 points. I left the one in Zeki's house and came back, and it reset to the scores that was on it before I started playing.

I guess lorewise, its just a machine Zeki fixed up and put everywhere, where he got it, I don't know.

Flow- everyone gets the loot if they hit it so if someone calls it hit it once and let everyone else get it. If it's one tree you'll have better look asking for help vs just calling it
Pal- first come first serve, if i call it I like to set a time for people to come
Deer- it's hard to time it. I've seen where people are all ready to shoot but one person doesn't get the memo and startled it but if you hit near it you'll get loot

Muujin could be fine with slow down arrows too since the arrows leaves a trail

Hunting the Proudhorn Stagg

so after a ton of hunts here's what I learned

The dispel arrow is expensive to craft but strongest ingame and it takes 5 good shots to bag the Proudhorn. When you get that first shot he runs and that's when you run after him... then he bolts but he stops at the end of that burst so you need to follow those sparkles he left but creep up on him don't keep running or he'll bolt again and you most likely will lose him .

If he is running towards the sea circle round and drive him back inland or he goes in the water and you'll never get him.

Having him tagged with your hunters horn hopefully you marked his green bow on the map before you began the hunt. If ya see someone hunting him join in but remember to creep on him when he stops. Good Luck and hope you get Antlers in the Haystack with these tips.

The duskwing is tough since you can't use the buzzy jar, but honey lures can help.

Otherwise you can just run to Bahari and back to reset your server. Kind of a blessing and a curse that the spawn location is so small.

the jar is good but try to be there at 5 AM or PM up by that big oak tree and chase all the common bugs outta there which will make room for it to spawn took me awhile but I finally got it and luck would have it that it was starred so I got both credits on the bug collection achievement Unfortuanately I only got the spotted mantis unstarred and now am going through fits looking for it lol starred

I has two opportunities to use the lure but found it hard to place it anywhere and only got common bugs

anyhow gotta get back in game and craft up a bunch of stuff and things to bug hunt and mujinn hunt lol

I got the initial 2 you have at the start and I bought one for 50k and one for 75k. So I have 4 plots altogether but it says i only have 2 out of 3. Does it really take the 100k plot to unlock it?

yes, you need to buy three plots to unlock the gazebo. those are the 50k, 75k and the 100k.

Can anyone advise about this bird nest on the highest windmill at Bug Island in the Temple of the Gales?
The nest contains a large white egg with lime-yellow triangles (shaped like Doritos chips) which is the same kind of colored egg as one of the four eggs found in the lower entry to Temple of the Gales.

My problem is that the game won't let me close enough to loot the egg. There's an invisible barrier all around the top of the windmill and I can't get close enough to get a loot prompt (F).

I have tried that little island a few times and up and down the entire coast. For real hours a day. For days on end. It’s so frustrating. I am still not clear why the first set of bundles would require such hard items to find. I finished all the flames bundles a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately I have the big bug in the windy ruins tower and can’t add anything to the bundles yet.

I know about how to save worms. But I gave up on that because the fishing rod deteriorates faster and I was spending all that time and not making money. I have tried starting to fish as close to 6am and to keep fishing until it’s 6pm. I have seen some say they had the best luck right at the start and end times. I have watched videos of people getting it on the docks near the lighthouse. I have seen people say the far south or far north. It’s one fish that never spawns. It’s just bizarre the drop rate is that low.
