so its not asking for a specific gift, but rather helping you keep track of who you've gifted already that day

just tested it out, gifting Auni a weekly want didn't check the daily gift.
gifting ashura a random gift DID check the daily gift.
after gifting a random gift, i couldn't gift another random gift.
whereas, I could gift all of the weekly wants back to back, even after the daily gift slot had been ticked by a random gift.

seems like only the 'anything they accept' (random) gifts are limited to once per day (and will tick the daily gift slot), weekly wants are uncapped and don't affect how often you can gift a villager.

For those glitched fishing hotspots, you can still reach most of them, but can take a couple of attempts. Cast and hold the cast button (mouse for me), then barely walk around until it's active. It usually is barely outside the hotpot, but it still counts as fishing it.

Elderwood was released in may of 2025, beyond that I don't know when the last mainstory update was, but I think it would be safe to say it'll be a year or more between mainstory updates since S6 builds new explorable zones along with it, which is pretty much on brand for new content being created and released across alot of games unless they have massive teams,

Which houses are you trying to connect? For example, harvest house don't connect with alchemist and estate.

new housing lines have a 10 room limit in terms of how many u can connect ( i think the estate is 12?), the harvest house line and the new lines don't connect together and you also can't connect 2 harvest houses/grand havest houses together no matter how many rooms are attached between them

I have the alchemist house n I was able to connect an estate on top of.. I have other alchemists n another estate n none of them wanna connect to what I already have but will connect together separately from what I already have

multiple reasons, Harvest holds a maximum of 15 attachements, and cannot be connected to Alchemist or Estate,

Alchemist and Estate hold a maximum of 10 (12 if you get the house upgrade from Lunar path) they can be mixed and matched, however if something is in the way they will not stack, make sure there are no windows, pillars, chimeys or roof pieces before trying to stack them, also no ceiling decor on the inside,

If you've confirmed that you have nothing blocking placement and it still isn't behaving try first exiting housing editor, followed by leaving your plot and coming back, if that doesn't work try restarting the game

Great ideas! I love the temporary status idea, and I like the idea of being able to add photos. I have also thought that it would be awesome if they had frames we could put our own in-game photos into and hang on our wall. Not sure how much work it would be, but other games have done this. 🙂
