You can take any bee from your ranch, yes! You can switch them via your inventory any* time! And it's kinda funny, cause if you visit your ranch with a ranch animal as a pet, you'll have a copy following you, and the real copy on the ranch.

Im very in two minds about it, when u first getting to know it because its new it seems super exciting and cool with so many possibilities. But once you have got to know it, its kind of... super basic. Not always a bad thing but I think in this case for its own whole skill its a bit lacking?

The fact cosmetic and functional traits share the same limit, so you can either breed great functional cows that all look identical or have a visual variety and have to lose out on breeding for great functional cows. The essential gameplay of the skill is... go click every animal u have once every 24 hours.

The cosmetic side of things again is super limited, a lot of people thought we would be able to breed say ormuus in all different colours with different horns. But you really only get 5 basic colours and some patterns that look weirdly like microsoft paint stamps I assume because u can just use them for all animals ever added and not have to design individual patterns per animal. But there is only 3 anyway, is it really that much effort :/

Also I swear it costs more to feed them than they actually make in profit not that I mind as it isnt a way i thought would be good for money but some people might of been hoping that could be their income if they liked that skill a lot shrug

I still enjoy it and its cute. Just comes off more like a little side thing and not a whole skill to me (WHY IS THEIR NO TROPHY FOR THIS SKILL BUT THERE IS FOR EVERY OTHER SKILL >:O)

I think everyone hoped for this and thought this would be how it would be, but i do understand why it might be bad for performance. So yeah a compromise of a little grass patch you could buy like the size of 4 crop patches where you could display just a few of your animals (like 3 or 4 just wandering about on this grass patch) on your plot and decorate around it, add fences, put it infront of a barn or whatever

Some games have minigames to feed or groom the animals (not that im saying at all that this is what is missing), some games have compatitions you can enter your animals into so you are spending time training them in some way. There is a lot of things games can do with it and a lot of ways they could have made it unique. A very common feeling in the cozy game community right now is farming sims are just all pumping out the same exact thing repackaged. Which to an extent is understandable with crops, there really is only a limited amount of ways u can make that different lmao. But with ranching there is so many! But palia went with... non? Like I say, atm it really doesnt feel like its its own fully rounded skill, more similar to the bird on your plot u can grab a candy egg from once a day but u can change its colour :P

I really hate the feature that means that once your gardening reaches lvl 30 you only ever get quality ingredients, i had planned my food recipes around regular ingredients because for some of the best food its just easier to get the regular ingredient which is one that cannot be purchased, the quality version is a rare drop that plus gathering the ingredient consumes focus, this is one of the most braindead features ive ever seen, i should be able to decide wether to use quality or not, not be forced to use quality only, this one feature has convinced me to stop playing palia

In my humble opinion the alchemist cottages aren't worth it They're expensive and very small, you have to combine multiple to have a decent amount of room. And also, and I feel like a lot of people misread the patch notes, cottage A and cottage B are both basically just a set consisting of the base room and some add-ons you can't buy separately. If you move the cottage to storage you'll be left with a bare base room, and the add-ons like the windows and ivy will detach and move to your storage (you can put them back on, of course)

So yeah I recommend only buying the cottages when you have enough money to buy multiple, because one really isn't enough

when you cook something solo you'll notice you need alot of different ingredients prepped at different stations, it takes time to do.

When you're in a cooking party you sign up for 1 specific role of that process, so for example Bean Burgers, you need 3 beans, 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, 1 garlic, 3 different kinds of sauce, 1 wheat and 1 cheese, on top of that you also need a oven to cook the wheat into buns and a stove to flip the bean patty,

in a cooking party there will be a upwards of 15+ people assigned 1 role per, unless over prep is open, this way you maximize your time, ingredients and your profit because you only bring what you signed up for, so if someone is cooking 100 rounds of bean burgers and you sign up for garlic you bring 100 garlic and that's it,

If you don't have ingredients to bring because your just starting out which is very common then you'd sign up for a free role, such as baking the wheat or flipping the patty, you don't need to bring anything but yourself for those roles, I hope this explained it and answered your question
